It seems they'd rather made such a F2P rubbish, other than even make a better HD remake of the series.
And that's also for the M&M series, recently was playing the M&M7, and it's really deserve a fine remastered/definitive edition.(as for M&M6/8 as well).
Especially after seeing how AOE2 and RE2 remake version have done...

Saw it played by my bro, told him about the game and he downloaded it out of curiosity. From what I saw, the auto-combat is easily the biggest offender in the game, there's no way it's inspired by the strategical depth and fun the turn-based combat had back in Heroes 3. It's just the name slapped to an otherwise generic mobile game never even meant to please the western market (but they entertained the idea anyway).
And uninstalled after an hour or so. It's not worth the time investment. Also speaks volumes about the state of the franchise. This is currently the title that keeps things "alive". Lack of ideas and lack of commitment. Sincerely doubt we'll see a major revival anytime soon, if ever.

Recently I've been reading about history of CRPG's. Never been into blobbers like M&M or Wizardry, but kinda got in the mood for them so I bought Legend of Grimrock 1 & 2 bundle on sale. Pretty fun I must say.

Gemcraft: Frostborn Wrath - the new one from best tower defense series known to man.
That took most of time in my weekend
Many new interesting strategic options. The game is difficult, but also more balanced and progress is gradual. Can't farm absurd levels in this one early on, so challenge is always right for my current level.

Restarted Fallout 4 for the third or fourth time. I've only ever beaten the game once. I enjoy wandering around the wasteland, being a high-functioning murder hobo.
I am at the end of New Vegas, having just completed Lonesome Road, sitting at level 49, and am just kind of bored of things. While I find 4's settlement nonsense tedious at times, it does add a certain life to the game that New Vegas lacks. That said, I enjoy the setting of New Vegas way more.
Also, fired up Civ 6 on the Switch again after downloading the expansion content. Currently bidding my time as the Zulu. Poor Mapuche, Poland, and Canada don't have a clue what is going to happen to them.

Heard a lot of good things about Slay the Spire (procedurally-generated card-game/rougelike hybrid that plays in turns). For instance it has "overwhelmingly positive reviews on Steam" and bunch of people recommended it. I once got the hold of Into the Breach in the same manner, and never did I regret it. Hope this game will be another "great discovery" for me like the latter. Picked it up and so far it's quite enjoyable. A really nice "play in short sessions" style of game. We'll see how long it lasts, before the formula becomes too repetetive and boring...

Slay the Spire is incredibly solid but be forewarned that it can feel really punishing in the later portions of the game. The final area is just sadistic; I have not beaten it.

I actually beat it a few times already. I also know there is some kind of way to unlock the final boss and it's very strong. And yeah, the game has something I call difficulty spikes. You're having a good roll, having mostly an easy time, and suddenly you'll meet a boss (or sometimes an elite) who will pulvarize you and you won't even have a chance to fight back. I found out the best way to beat the game is to have a lot of relics which boost your actions (by giving cards, additional moves) and getting cards that let you multiply you're damage. A good example would be Ironclad who can do massive damage while reducing your enemies attacks with his strenght/weakness/vulnerability combos.
I've also picked up Pyre cus it had a huge price cut. The game has a nice atmosphere and interesting battle system. I also heard it can give you a lot of "feels" with it's plot. We will see

Gonna give this a play through since the remake is coming out soon. Sad to hear it’s only the midgar section
I bought a ps1 classic just to play this lol. I like the old graphics better than the HD make over.

Diablo 3 with some friends. I chose crusader class because... well, look at my profile name. I'm currently in Caldeum and I also killed 2 goblins in 2 hours (they appear randomly, very rare and teleport fast when they spot you. They also carry some damn good artifacts).

Animal Crossing NH still.
I will probably reach a point when I become bored with those day to day routines, especially now that I probably reached all the milestones which kinda were the driving force in the game (unlocking all the customization systems and services). Sure there are still a lot of bugs/fish to catch, items to craft and things to customize etc. That said the game is really relaxing after a hard day of work. It's not only a remedium for the current Corona situation it also helps me chill each day like today when I had almost brain damage due to pressure of duties to fulfill (Easter is here so needed to close some things). I recommend this game to anyone who has a Switch and is looking for some creative fun.
I've also picked Space Hulk Deathwing EE. I actually don't know what to expect aside from the fact that it is similar to Vermintide, only in space, but there was a 80% off promotion, and the game has generally favorable reviews, so I went ahead and bought it...
