Poll Question:
Might and Magic VIII Mod
we have
Devil ->Archdevil (replaces minotours)
Angel - > Archangel (replaces Knights)
Necromancer - > lich
Priest-> Priest of the light
spellsword - >Warlock (replaces vampires)
Wizard - > Enchanter (replaces dark elfs)
Dark knights - > Death knights (replaces trolls)
the story: something really big really wierd happens that makes angels and devils work together,but i wont spoil it yet!

Any help is apriciated!
it's just that im unable to put the sprites up in the Lod. file..
so how is the idea

The idea teased me for months too. I think the difficulty is not to replace sprites but to come with MM mechanics, recipes, potions, dungeons, labyrinths, fly and swim. And also to get a realistic minimap is demanding a lot of Photoshop.
If you go for MM6 then you already have the map and the labyrinths mechanics done:
Stored in variables labyrinth, once completed, you can place another one in same area, with different layout.

Reworked after extracting and compiling MM6 maps:
There would be many enthusiast modders who might help you on that (including me). The idea is traveling through other forums as well, but too much work I guess.

well i wanted to make this an mm8 project,due to the fact its not posible (?) to make such big edits to mm6... (change races and all)...

A new mod would be awesome. Maestro's MM8,5: Echo of Destruction seems to be a very long project to wait, and the enrichment of the mod library is always cool. There are not so many mods, and any of each must deserve attention.
