everything got an upgrade
let me just say that I really like how H6 is shaping up. It really feels like the new developers have gone in a completely new direction and it feels like it's own beast entirely. creatures feel powerful and innovative, and each faction feels like it's feilding it's very best to combat their enemies.
which is interesting. I've always like some of the weaker units in past hero games. yeah, they might not be very powerful, but alot of them have a real sense of character from them. you have the down trodden peasants, the mischevious imps, and so on, and I'm a little bit sad to see they get a much reduced role in the game (if they are in the game at all).
this might just be me being weird like that, but I am interested what's going to happen to units like the peasants, apart from anything else, out of morbid curiosity.

A peasant as a boss? that is not what I have heard.
The last thing I heard was that the peasants would return as a 4th resource for the Stronghold when it is revealed. Similar to the crystal resource is that they can both be found on the adventure map as treasures, but peasants are needed in order to recruit their champion unit the Behemoth. Peasants are also the only resource that the Orcs can trade with.

Yep, there's no official information on the Peasant as of today.
