The history of time & a person's thoughts..?

I wonder sometimes why there is so much hatred towards certain people & certain races.

Like a topic earlier about Americans not using Celsius & info they learn from their history about all Americans.

I think hatred comes from both parties & it escalates in the years of our history.
Watching Xerox make his comments about America because he is young & does not understand. Also believes he is right because it is how it is learned.
Then Bibanik retaliates.
which only causes the hatred to grow.
That is just one example of millions.

Like in a fight, it always takes 2 to start it.  It seems it is no different in this situation as well.

As well as many religions out there in this world. there are many beliefs that are different from other religions.
I think America has values that defaces many religions from other countries. Why there are many hatred & holy wars.

Many people, mostly young people tend to despise things they cant understand because their way is so basic.
To us out here it is the other way around. Example! Celsius LOL.

every man & woman has their own life & values.
Most people, especially young people need to realize that not everyone agrees with our President or govt 100%
Actually most of us just want to live our own lives & survive.
We have our own families & not everyone cares about politics.
It dont mean we dont know whats going on.
I care about my family more then what goes on outside of this world.

Just to those who thinks all Americans are alike & follow our president 100%. I doubt it lol.

I always wish that all countries can understand each other 7 get along in peace.
i know that is impossible as long as there are different beliefs & history. Which means never!

There's widespread intolerance and an inability/unwillingness to think objectively.  Many people have difficulty seeing beyond their world views, which makes these discussions very heated and less civil.  There's also more than a hint of competitive thinking when it comes to comparing countries and beliefs.  Someone is always pointing fingers or claiming to be ahead of the other.  It gets so bad that it's no longer simply "stating one's honest opinion" and more like engaging in a childish war of words.  There's a regrettable lack of understanding and not enough people with the virtue to play the bigger man in all of this.

It seems there is no who is right or who is wrong.
It seems in an individual eyes. They will be right.

Maybe what we think is actually wrong

Please, I know very well what system the US uses when it comes to time and degrees etc... -.- Just acting since it is in the wastelands like I have often done for the past years.
Still, I do not agree with your system. It does not make sense to me.

I think you've got it wrong. It's been scientifically proven numerus times that xerox says whatever he thinks pisses the most people off or what fulfils him in his selfproclaimed role of troll. I've yet to read something of him that's just sincere.

Hm... I agree that many young people are afraid of what they do not understand or cannot change but I see lots of older people like that as well. I'd say cut out the word "young" from that statement and it would be more accurate.

Good post however.

Yes, a lot of people have a fundamental inability to see things from other people's viewpoints, even slightly.

Well to my defense I do follow the rules and pretty much only spam in the Volcanic Wastelands. My posts in the Altar of Wishes are usually completly different from those in the Volcanic Wastelands.
I was much worse in the past, perhaps even going over the edge and it was very hard and frustrating to regain a decent reputation here.

My personal opinion is that I am a lot smarter and more sensible than a lot of adults (who often do not even seem to know what an argument is). If there is anything stupid I have said that was not on purpose (see many of my VW posts) then please mention it and argue with me why it was stupid.

I also think I am very respectful towards other cultures and people and I think it is common sense that if you say something like "I think the US is evil because they steal oil" you obviously do not blame the entire country and all of the people.

I always try to think objectively at first. But then some things are so stupid in my opinion (religion etc, but its so pointless to discuss that here because we never get anywhere in those 500 page long threads) that I can not really be objective about them.

But really, how hard can it be to make all future math books contain the metric system instead of the feet/arm/toe system you have?

No offense, but as a recent teenager myself, I can speak to the fact that we often don't give adults enough credit.
Some of them really are that dumb, but in my experience, teenagers often tend to underestimate them while in the throes of teenage...hood? Teenagedom?

Also, how hard is it to make all future math books use the feet/miles system instead of the metric system? Goes both ways, you know.

There is a difference between being smart & understanding.
Sometimes understanding a certain culture is out of our grasp unless we visited or been there.
Anyone can read a book & know alot of things.
To actually comprehend & understand what you learn is another story.
Being smart academically does not make you a better person.

After 9/11 or as you put the day first 11/9.

You have to go through a whole lot of BS to even visit the states.

I got no beef with you though Xerox.
I was 15 too & man was I alot worst lol.
I was smart too, but i never cared to understand what i learned. I try to now.

I'm not sure what to add, unless I start a long and complicated post.

beliefs divide men, that's obvious. what is a belief and why do we need to believe in something?

are believers only those who believe in a god or a religion or any kind of spiritual stuffs?

I mean, materialistic people say they aren't as stupid as to believe in a religion or a god and yet they support capitalism or communism. is it different from believing in a religion?

Of course it is. Take communism.
Mans thoughts of how classes need to live.
Despised by the Nazis back in that time.
Certain classes have certain priveledges.
Germany was the opposite of Communism.
Man created the govt, not any religion.

Marx may of thought of a ruthless cold heated govt that means every woman & child or classed, even before they are pretty much born.

i guess you can say it could mean kings & dictators are that countries gods.
It is not a religion.

I guess during the time of war & being born to follow Communism, I dont know if everyone supported it, I can almost garuntee everyone did not support it. They had no choice.

Pretty much the same as how many feel about Americans.
They think we all support what our Govt & President portrays.
I guess it is alot harder since we only read about history, then what is going on now.

Well, hopefully you have a better time than I did when trying to meet up with someone in the UK. Got sent to Immigration, then a Detention Centre and sent back, eventually, after they stuffed up two of my flights back (had to wait about a day and 12 hours until I got sent back and spent it all in Immigration rooms or Detention Centres). Fun times.

Just have to make sure you got a Holiday Visa, a lot of money (2000 or so pounds) and make sure you book somewhere to stay before you get there. Work Visa's will definitely get you there if you want to stay for a year or 2.
