Question for you all: I found my Oblivion disc, but it's the Oblivion-only version. Would it be possible for me to buy the expansions on Steam and have them work with the disc version? I already checked and apparently it's not possible to register the disc on Steam...

My first thought was yeah maybe if you set the install directory for Oblivion in the Steamapps folder but I bet there's many subtle differences between the disc and Steam version that will cause massive incompatibilities. The DVD read for instance is not required for Steam, so the exes themselves will be different so you likely won't even be able to launch it via Steam.
Furthermore, the patches for the game are different depending on whether you have the disc or steam version, so I wouldn't even know what patch you should use if you have a disc Oblivion and Steam DLC. And you DON'T want to run an unpatched Oblivion.
Regardless, since you can't register the disc in Steam, Steam won't even know you have the game and thus you cannot access the DLC anyway.
Get the discs, much handier. The disc version is also generally easier to mod than the Steam one, won't run into any problems.

Schlongs of Skyrim is a surprisingly dynamic work of art, first mod that adds actual animations that are rather entertaining, like balls jiggling when jumping or moving, the erection and deflating is also very well done (animation wise) but it's a wee-bit unreliable, much like RL.

In all seriousness, I'm kinda glad it finally got done. The community has spent the last 7 years trying to perfect boob physics so it's good to finally see some time spent on the male gender.
Some fun for the crowd swinging the other way.
Hilarious how many complaints it got, boobs and vags are all ok but SCHLONGS?! AMAGOD REPORT REPORT REPORT.
Hahahah hilarious name too...
Personally still don't see the appeal in pornographic mods... too distracting.

It's not such a bad idea if you couple it with the curse of the dragon mod (turns PC into a dragon, flying a little glitched though) and nude dragons mod, and a compatibility patch with animated prostitution to fit it all together.
I always wanted to see dragons go at it.

Ok, I just got Dragonborn and am going through the process of updating all my mods. At least the Nexus Mod manager takes away some of the tedium in upgrading the mods.
I'll either be starting a new mage or a paladin type character.
What mods would you recommend? I'm not interested in stuff like ultimate schlongs by the way.

@Elodin: Wyrmstooth just off the top of my head, admittedly I got that with the vanilla game.
@Everyone:
What's the difference between "Skyrim - Legendary Edition" and "Skyrim + Dragonborn + Dawnguard + Hearthfire"? I just want Dawnguard and Dragonborn but if getting all three in a bundle is cheaper I don't have a problem buying Hearthfire too. On the other hand if it's a 'special' version and expects me to re-buy the vanilla game I'll skip it.

Legendary edition adds a new difficulty, and if you get a skill to 100, you get the option to reset it down to 15, and level it up again, so as to get more total perk points. Basically - vanilla with more grinding.

Looks like buying the bundle version doesn't automatically deduct the price of the piece I already have, so I guess I'll just go with DB+DG then.

There is no level cap anymore afaik, but you'd have to reset your skills waaaay too many times to get all perks available.
Not any real pleasure in doing it imo, just goes further in making sure that no character ever has to dedicate him/herself to something in the game.

I'm using the community uncapper, which lets you push your skills above 100. I won't be resetting skills to try to pick up more perks because I don't want my character to be jack of all trades, I want unique play from each character.
