Not sure it would, but I suppose it may depend on what method the guards are supposed to use. If all they've to do is to ask witnesses, then a list of people the witness (each person in the entire game) saw for each minute in the game could be saved (and depending on how often a name repeats itself, how known that person is, what happened that day, etc. the name can be deleted again quicker or slower), then when the guards find out about the crime, they can try to make a list of all possible candidates based on the list, and question these candidates. Heck you can even have a witness only tell certain parts truthfully depending on his relation with the guards in overall and this/these guards in particular who're "questioning". Once several murders in different cities occurs and the same person repeatedly shows up and is hard to find for questioning, an arrest warrant could be made.
I don't know how many resources it'd tie up, or if it'd make a better game though.

Was hilarious in oblivion when you swapped the guard food stores with poisoned apples, they'd eat them while on patrols hours later, one by one they'd just fall over dead. Would be pretty interesting if guards start freaking out and cutting down people close to a murdered corpse, assuming that they didn't outright see you commit the murder.

@Tsar: That sounds awesome, I'll have to try that. 
I do have to say I was pleased when Astrid called me out on opening that sealed letter. I just wish the rest of the game was that clever.

LOL. So I killed Commander Maro. A Penticulus Oculatus Agent was standing within spitting distance when he died. What does the fellow do? Walk over, look at the body looking slightly upset, and declare "I'm going to find whoever did this!" while I'm standing right there. XD
Edit:
Is it sad that I check during the Steam Sale to see if Skyrim is on sale in spite of already owning it?

We all do it, part of the psychology of trying to find out whether we made a good investment, irregardless of whether the game is absolute pinnacle of awesome and everyone acknowledges it as thus, including yourself, you will always feel worse when you find out that it sells so cheaply, and that you bought it for about 5x the price it's currently worth. (despite being worth every penny)

I just disabled one of my oldest mods, I guess it just broke the immersion too much, but it never failed to but a smile on my face when my vampire character would be blinded and burned when setting eyes upon the shrine of Lenin.

I was thinking that maybe an additional script could be added to maybe put enemies into sleep, but I think a long term paralysis would be better, also it must be made so that only blunt instruments can have this effect, maybe a 10-20% chance during the "fatal" blow will send your enemies into a state of paralysis, while if their begging for their life then it would be 100%, also fists having a KO effect.

Paralysis would make no sense since their limbs would go static, and since the enemy is still aggressive you would still be considered in combat, with combat music and not being able to fast travel away. There is an unconscious state in the CK that you can just set to 1, no reason not to use it.
Furthermore, complicating it with weapon types cause several incompatibilities with big weapon overhauls like Skyre, and limiting it to blunt weaponry is just annoying and nonsensical since you bash with the guard of your weapon anyway.
I want it simple and non-intrusive.

Paralysis in skyrim makes me lol.. It is very useful of course. It is in the other games I have played as well. But I love in skyrim how their muscles stop moving and they just fall over.

Have to wonder what the hell is up with nexus lately.
There hasn't been a period of 3 days where the site wasn't just completely unresponsive with black pages.
Not to mention half of their servers seem to be broken every 2 hours or so

Is there a point to buying legendary for PC?
I have legendary for Xbox and an unopened standard edition for PC. I prefer using a controller VS WASD (keyboard) I played so much MMORPG I have a condition in my WASD wrist.

As much as I enjoy using the mouse and keyboard for Battlefield games, for skyrim I simply must have the smoothness that a controller brings, and I cannot live without the distinct vibration when drawing a bow or striking someone.

You can still use the keyboard hotkeys. ^^
Also here's my latest character, I was testing out the blood textures on my sword on innocent barmaids and forgot to load back. TT
I am still on the lookout for good cutlass/saber mods, I found a good persian mod, but alas their swords have no blood textures.
