Warlord don't even try, Nightterror is so right about this. Even though I like the H6 line-up for the Inferno I still hate that fact that they all appear as lava elemantals. They need to be more fleshy and less magmatic 
Anyways, On-topic:
1. Dungeon
2. Academy
3. Inferno
4. Necropolis
5. Stronghold
I think it is time that the Haven is left out for once.

I don't see why no Haven would be so terrible, I mean just in the last two games (5 and 6) the Vanilla has junked 3 of the 4 H1 towns, and 4 of 6 H2 ones. Besides, they are pretty much the least interesting faction of all time.

Well then you better find another cover creature, because Knights won't cut it anymore.
Just seeing if you'd stand up to a bit of opposition.  I'm not really that deadset against no Humans.
But, think, that if no humans exist, all the Undead would be Elven or Orcish, and Dread Knights make no more sense because living Knights don't exist.
But, If there was a race that Heroes could not go without, it'd be the Inferno. The whole theme of Eclipses would be pooped out, even with Haven gone, it might not work even then.
I am so glad the Naga finally have a place again.

All I'm saying I don't think the Haven needs to be a playable faction, ofc they will still exist as a part of the lore and world. Just as the Academy exist during the time of H6...

Yeah exactly, why do we need the Haven? Sure it has been in one form or another ever since the first Heroes game, but come on it is time to let it go...
Jiriki is so right, we need to be less stubborn and that's why we need to make a Heroes game without that ancient and boring human faction.

I don't think we NEED to do so...but hey, people didn'T freak out when Sylvans weren't in that much and that was a TRUE REAL-GAME fact!!! So why all that stuff now?
...anyway...some ideas for good Dungeon? find this especially hard...

Aren't all factions boring in one way or another?
Anyway, as much as i like monks/zealots, I still think HoMM2 had the best Castle/Haven lineup.
