I think the whole wedding thing is really interesting in the US. It seems like the majority of all couples are or end up getting married (even if they divorce months later).
In Sweden, its faaaaaaaar less common to get married. Maybe its because swedens is a very secular country with 80% atheists, but I dont associate weddings with religion.
In my 15 year long life, I have only been on one wedding (well two, if you count the royal crown princess) but it seems like in the US, you get like TONS of bonuses if you get married. I do not think that is the case here and I also believe a minority of everybody end up getting married and i have never heard of anyone celebrating their wedding day.

Just asking, but do divorcing lawyers need to get themselves lawyers? If they do, might the client lawyer play backseat lawyer to the other lawyer?

You don't really have to but it might help. Contrary to popular belief, not all lawyers are dead inside and some might snap emotionally during their own divorce proceedings.
Ideally, I'd like to stop doing divorce when I'm married but I don't know how I will be able to since that is my strongest area of practice.
Should have been a chef...
