He jogs up to a security man, about to grab him by his throat and ask him where the plane was, when he realized that wasn't the best idea. So he politely asks, "Excuse me, the plane that just left, where was it going?"

"New York city." It is very strange for him to answer so quickly, they usually will not tell people such information, but then again he seems a bit panicked about something.
Back on the Island..the boat is secured, and you now have a way off the island. The question is..where are you going?

Cat skipped over to the rest of the group who was busy playing with the boring people. When she got there VII was having some kind of argument with Alan about something that happened before they went to sleep. It was quite boring. Alan disappeared after the argument, and the world became even more boring. The group just stood there, not saying anything for awhile and in the end Cat could not take it so she mentally shouted "BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORING! Can't we go somewhere else where we could do something fun! And could someone explain to me what we are doing here in the first place?!"

Alan stood in front of the ship, looking at the small fires that represented where the guards that had been outside stood. Perhaps, I went to far? No, they would have tried to kill me anyway. This was just a preemptive strike... But Alan couldn't make himself believe it. He had lost control.
Again.
Whatever modifications had been made to him had worn down on his emotional control... Sometimes his rage got out of hand. At least I left the ones inside alive...
He moved back to the group slowly, trying to clear his head so that cat wouldn't be able to see what he had done.
"The ship is secure!" Alan yelled out once he arrived. "Let's go everyone!"

Two looks calmly at the group. "Anybody actually know WHERE we are going? We were all in the deep freeze when they brought us here, so we have no idea which way to actually go. Our unconscious friends here might..."
Eight holds up a hand. "I know."
Ten looks suspicious. "How could you possibly know?"
Eight. "It's something I would have trouble explaining. Everybody here has changed..all of us, but.." she pauses. "It's like this. I can tell you how many insects are around us right now. Not a guess, I know where every last one is. Same with animals, plants..people. Everywhere..on the entire planet. It's...hard. I'm never alone now. The one person who seems to be immune, when they want..is whoever is hunting us." Her eyes are haunted. "I can lead us to a populated area."
"Counting insects..that would be near trillions of lives..how could you possibly stay sane?" Ten asks bluntly.
"It's..its not easy." Answers Eight.
Vorg -
"Sure..but it wouldn't leave till first thing in the morning. Is .. is that acceptable?"

Cat's face had turned into a red tomato again. Her hands were clenched into shaking fists and her mouth was shut in fury.
"STOP IGNORING ME!" she shouted mentally and used her telekinetic to push everyone of the others up into the air.

Cat immediately felt a bit ashamed and so she put the others down and kicked the stones in front of her "Sorry..." she muttered "...but I would really like to know what we are doing here. Big Brother Alan did not tell me anything about why I had to go with him..."

The next morning.. (assuming nobody wants to do anything else..)
Vorg is off and on his way to New York city, while the boats are skimming through the water with the group aboard. The group can see other boats, it appears that the rest of the Double X projects are coming as well.
Two looks at the water "Something is bothering me. Wasn't this a lot of hardware for a simple hunting trip? Eight boats, jeeps, and some of those weapons were certainly not for shooting game.."
"What?" interrupts Ten. "You think they were hunting us?"
Two nods. "I am beginning to think we might not be as forgot about as we thought."
Eight shrugs "Should not matter now. Once we ditch their equipment they should have no way of following us."
Two nods but looks unsure. "We don't know what changes have happened in the last eighty years. Who knows what the government is capable of now."
Ten laughs. "These were not government guys, or if so we don't have much to worry about from the government. They made enough noise to wake the dead."
Eight agrees. "Yes, they were far too amateurish. Everybody should get some rest. It will be at least a day before we arrive at our destination. Seems we are close to Florida."

Alan glared at the other two ships. "Now, I just might be paranoid, but I don't like the thought of those ships following me to safety... Especially if one of them holds the man murdering us." He looked at Ten. "Do you think that we should sink one or two of them?"

Ten shrugs but Two brings up a good point. "May solve nothing, and we are unaware of what powers they possess. We might find ourselves swimming also. For all we know, the killer is already among us."
Hours later, in New York.
Things have certainly changed a lot since Vorg has been to a city. Though the information was fed into each of the Double X projects about the changes that have taken place over 80 years, nothing could prepare somebody from 1930's for this. So many people, steel buildings everywhere, flashing lights .. the chaos of the real jungle is nothing compared to the chaos of the steel jungle.

The crafts land at various places in Florida, the one the group is on hits Miami beach. Bikini clad females (which would be a culture shock to the group), etc. There is a lot of people, and the group is getting some odd stares.

Eight shakes her head. "We had the information, but I was not prepared for .. this.." the culture shock is a bit much. Then she shakes her head as if to clear her mind. She looks at Alan "So much has changed. It's going to take some time for us to adjust. Some..more then others." at first it sounded like a jab at Alan, but something in her eyes seem to suggest that isn't the case.
Suddenly she looks away and sighs. "That is for another time however. One of us is far away..I can feel them, but they are not alone..though I think they believe they are. Another is with them, following them. I .. don't think it is our hunter though."
Two interrupts. "As interesting as that is, where now? We might as well be complete strangers here. Anybody have a clue where to go?"
Eight, Ten, and Thirteen seem to have no idea. Eight doesn't know any more then anybody else, just where people are. She is obviously guessing that Vorg doesn't know about the person with him.
As everybody contemplates what is going on, there is a commotion on the beach..everybody is screaming, and suddenly running. A thin man, recognized as XVI. Following him is a bloated figure, that looks like somebody who has drowned but is still walking around. The bloated figure has a white film over its eyes, and a blank expression on it's face.
The thin man is talking to the bloated figure as they walk toward the group. "Yes, yes I know people are running, you are a walking corpse you know." he seems to listen to something, but nothing is heard. "I know you are tired, and you will be able to rest soon. I just need you for a little longer." again as if he heard something "No, no you are not like that! How can you hunger when you are dead? So you won't go eating peoples brains or such."
As he reaches the group. "Yes I am sure. Are you hungry? No. Thought not..see nothing to worry about." He turns to the group. "Finally. Been looking for some familiar faces..."

The thin man is cold to the touch, but warmly greets Cat. "Like most of the others once I let everybody know there was a way off the island, we took it. I guess I can send my helper back to rest, won't need as much protection with everybody here around." he turns to the walking corpse. "Go find your resting spot, and you may return to slumber. Thank you for your help." the bloated figure nods, turns, and lumbers off.

Elsewhere. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN THEY FAILED?!" A man in a medical coat yelled. The person he was yelling at was a trained hardened soldier, but still paled.
"I...I'm I'm s-ss-sorry sir..they di didn't capture a sss-ingle proj-project."
"FOOLS! Idiots!! How hard could it be to pick up a bunch of people in stasis pods!"
"S-s-sir..they were not in the po-pods...they were o-out."
The man in the medical coat stops, looks at the soldier and seems to calm. "Oh, well that is a different matter altogether. I'm surprised anybody made it back alive in that case. What about team two?"
"I...I believe they were successful..."
"Excellent, have it prepped in the lab. Have Munchkin take a look at the plants also."
"Yes, yes sir. Sir..Munchkin said to tell you..'It's also loose'..whatever that means."
The figure nods and frowns. "I guess that is to be expected. It will make things difficult, but not impossible. Proceed."
"Yes sir!"
