Milena, my last GF was on the "plump" side... But she felt good with herself and with her body and trust me when i say you could hardly notice her little "weight" problem. 99.9% of the time i didn't even notice this. The way she acted and dressed amde up for everything. We got toghether  by accident, i was at the place where she works to pick up another girl, actually... But she fascinated me with her eyes and her personality, and i ended up leaving with her.  What i'm trying to say is that ppl(men) who call you "fat" are only looking for a body to satisfy their fizical needs. And i don't think you're looking for that type of man. So, my advice: " Trust in yourself and others will trust in you."

There are 2 things that piss me off
1-when someone says a female is fat when they only say it to piss her off
2-when a female keeps saying their fat, when it is not so.
Cant give yourself the benifit of the dought.
Believe me I know fat & you are not fat.
If you believe it then there's nothing we can say to help you.
Cant change something if you dont believe it.
Believe me I am not trying to sound mean but trying to show you reality & you dont have to be 97 pounds to be average.

Well, I am plump

Not fat but plump, the trouble is I *will* grow fat if I don't do sth about it.

P.S. I would really like to complain to you, guys. I went to that IRC channel and I'm very disappointed. I don't understand why foreign guys get all drooling and get me stars when they see a girl and those Bulgarian bull****ers not only don't pay attention but also behave rudely, cuss, and offend the girl.

I really don't understand these guys. I wish I lived someone else.

Well, maybe I can give you my wise (or not so wise) advice.
Why do you want to look for a boyfriend? I think this is a very stupid idea. Why does everyone want to find a boy/girlfriend? This is a temporary stage of life and will very possibly end with no result (except maybe broken heart). The other possibility is to marry the person. But do you really want that? I think you said somewhere "Single forever". Even if it's not so, why should you cross towns and webpages looking for a husband??? Or maybe you really like only the temporary stage of life, when you are in close relations with someone... for some time and then stop! But I think there is no point in this.
My idea is that you should live peacefully without having troubles like "I should find a boyfriend". Some day you may find someone who you love but then you won't think: "I have to make him my boyfriend", you will think: "I want to live the rest of my life with him". And if he also thinks so... voila! If not... sorry. But don't kill yourself or the opposite - don't immediately start looking for the next candidate. Just live your life.
I think that will prevent you from many negative emotions.
Best wishes,
Wyvern

Look for a friend, companionship, I dont know a single person that is "looking for a boyfriend" that isnt depressed and failing.

I met my boyfriend at the exact opposite time, wasnt looking, wanted to be free and single and we were best friends and then it just evolved.

To me it sounds as if Milena is needing companionship, not necessary a boyfriend, but some friends.

And sorry Milena, if you arent happy with your weight, then as you would know, only you can do something about it.

You need to take control and say OK, im going to change the things i dont like, do some exercise...get outside......

I know that no matter how many times that someone can reassure you about the things you dont like about yourself .... often it isnt enough.

There is no need to be stupid and stop eating (which incidently doesnt help u lose weight, just slows down your metabolism). 30-40 minutes of exercise 3 times a week speeds your metabloism up for 3 hours i think after you exercise and thats when you burn calories. But you have to eat right to give yourself the energy.

Why not try yoga or something as well, i love my yoga class, doesnt sound very physical, but it can be quite aerobic but enjoyable.

I live with 2 people with depression, and as hard as it seems to make that first step outside of the comfort zone, it has to be done, you need to motivate yourself.

Dont try and find "another half" .... try and find someone to enhance your life.

But there is only so much advise that people can give, in the end its up to the individual to make the steps.

I know that very clear

I used to go to the gym but it became SO very expensive that I preferred staying at home, doing nothing, I recently heard about a new one, maybe I can try it.

Well, Frenzie, you are right, I need compionship more than a boy, but I really have few friends for all that I had went abroad. :-(( All 7 of them.

Right now I really need company and I don't mean the Internet... a boy would be nice. I've never had a boy as a friend, no idea why!

I'm always keeping an eye on possibilities. But trust me, it never came when I wasn't looking. It doesn't come when I'm looking for it. It just depresses me a lot. I want to have the average life and be satisfied with my life. I've always slept on my own shoulder. I have all the answers... but why do I have it when there is no one to share it with?

I don't get some guys

Hearing what you are saying, Milena, is saddening. I must apologize on behalf of my gender. We can be unbelievably insensitive sometimes, granted, but I, and most guys I know, would NEVER, ever, say to a girl that we suspected had problems with it, that she's fat. That's just mean, and guys saying that will probably end up with some hag with silicone breasts and four nose jobs.

I once called a girl a nickname equivalent to the word plump (hard to translate), but that was in a fond way (I actually had a big crush on her), and I was positive that she wasn't insecure about her weight or herself.

How to find the right man, I don't know, but once you've found him, here's what to do (or what I would fall for, at least):

Talk to him. Doesn't have to be meaningful, philosophic discussions, but show him that you're interested in him and his life. But don't, and I repeat DON'T agree blindly with his every opinion. Then you'll run out of conversation topics in notime, plus it's apalling when girls do that.

Make eye-contact, and smile. Innocent flirting is a safe way to make someone notice you without baring your soul.

Touch him. Not unnaturally, but when it seems natural and not too obvious, give him hugs, stroke his back, touch his hands and arms.

Pay attention to him. If he has a haircut, comment on it, or if he has a new jacket or something else has changed.

Invite him to do stuff with you. First, with other friends, then later just you and him. It could be something as small as just sitting watching TV on a friday night. Doesn't sound like much, but if he's interested, he'll come.

Try to look your best. Even if he's not a superficial guy, it's always good to have for instance newly washed hair (it doesn't have to be wet, but you know, don't go weeks without washing it (not saying that you do )), and to smell nice. For me, at least, the smell is not to be underestimated. Too sweet or too spicy perfumes really turns me off (as do the smell of two week old sweat), but an understated fragrance of flowers (and other good-smelling things) does the trick.
Wear nice clothes. Not saying that you should only wear expensive designer clothes, but maybe not all black, either (I know a girl who is sort of depressed, and she really wants a boyfriend, but she always wear only black clothes, some of them with writings on saying "I'm just naturally snow" and things like that on, and she washes with solid intervals. Let's just say she hasn't found him yet).
And I don't mean dress snowty either. Just plain and nice. Most girls are very adept at this, and I'm sure you are too. I'm just trying to cover all options.

My last piece of advice, though, is be yourself. If you have depressions and feel sad alot, there's no point in trying to hide it from him, that would be like deceiving him into a relationship. Just don't let it get out of hand. Tell him what's going on, be honest with him, don't whine and pout, and if he has backbone at all, he'll stay and love you forever (good, not cliché ending at all).

Good luck

Tnx, DonGio

Tnx very much... you know when I read such comments I wonder how come ALL the worst guys are born in Bulgaria.

Though I would make one thing clear. The one who constantly tells me I'm fat is a female one.

I think I know how to deal with the guy when I find him... but as Diogen said, "I'm looking for the man"

Milly my dear...

Women all know how hurtful it is to be called fat... I myself referto people I don't like as 'that fat moo' or 'the hindenburg' as i know that without a doubt fat is the most hurtfull thing to call anybody!

People who call other people fat are inscure and cunning!!

Just say:

'I can lose weight, sugar, but you'll still be ugly!'
