I didn't read all of the text because I was so anxious to see the next picture. Superb job finding and selecting the pics that you did.. they're amazing.
I honestly liked the creature selection in every single faction. And I too liked that the Phoenix was an elite creature... there Sphinx should be ahead of it for a change!
There's no point in coming up with complex creature abilities until the lineup is finalized. As far as I can tell, your lineups are pretty close to final! Again, nice job with the pictures... now if you'll excuse me I'm going to go take a look again

Love the factions & the campaigns.question though: does every faction have a campaign with 3 scens or do every faction has a campaogn set with 3 campaigns?

well in my opinion that is that what stronghold is about.It is the faction that relies on raw power and not on complicated tactics.

@darklord:Looks good,I like the wurm the most(his pic looks really awesome).
What I dislike a little bit,is that most creatures seem to be invented,because personally I like it more if they are from actual mythology.
I also noticed,that you made a little mistake,because you said,that the ultimate creatures can't be upgraded,but the faceless lord has an ability,that is exclusive for his upgrade(which shouldn't exist)

I think what's being presented here is mostly the feel of a new heroes game, and what kind of art direction would really add power behind that feeling.
A much more rich and fantastic setting that truly pushes the envelope past what we're used to, and I applaud that.
BUT
The meat of the proposal beyond the art, is the factions, which... are shallow, which is to be expected when you're designing this many at once, but the line-ups don't look like they are in harmony from a game-play perspective, factions don't seem to have strong gameplay themes, many creatures go against the mythological roots of the franchise.
I was extremely impressed at first, but that was mostly the sheer beauty and quality of the art over-riding my analythical nature.
I actually also am getting the feeling you designed the factions in the order of Art -> Faction instead of Faction -> Art.
Don't get me wrong, it's good stuff this, but.. well, I think this is the result of the designing of an entire sequel vs the people who design a single faction at a time.
So the overall feel and atmosphere, which is mostly invoked by the art, is astounding.
Edit: Forgot to mention the story, which despite several cliches and events that have already happened in heroes games, is rather enjoyable. It's not a bad progression so far by any means, the campaign sounds very interesting.
My least favorite part is the whole Sword of the Gods -> Ancient Evil unleashing, it's the biggest weakness in the otherwise rather enjoyable sounding story.

@ Nighty - the idea of Soul Reaver was to have a humanoid corrupted by Evil, also that Faceless should be not only Ultimate tier..
@ Davy - edited, i really missed it and made a mistake ) thx for pointing it out..
@ MrDragon - i would say that you are 100% right about my priorities..!
1st is - ART and MUSIC
2d - STORY
and 3d - are the FACTIONS
only after comes the ABILITIES..
but i thought it would be an interesting idea to make factions focused on art directions, colors, music and atmosphere.. as i haven't seen anyone presenting that here the way i am trying to do..
and most of the time i spent in search of Images and Music for factions..
anyways would like to hear your opinion later when i upload more staff,...)
..now it's turn for mini factions...
