Endless turns..
Quote: ...recently i noted that some players are doin a new lame tactic to get points or to at least not loose points. If they feel like loosing they extend their turns to endless....
Thereīs a great countertactic to that. If the opp takes very long turns all the time, like 20 minutes on 4 minute turns, you have to let them know that you can take long turns too, even longer turns than they can
If they take 20 minute turns: Go into a fight, cook some food or take a bath or soemthing, maybe watch some tv, play some other game for a while, and come back after maybe 40 min? Usually after that their turns are back at a normal length.
Best thing to do is, esp if you play with a quit=lose rule (that these players probably like), is to have a 2nd comp and start another game on that one. But I donīt have 2 comps, so I just like getting my revenge and maybe fixing the problem in the process.

lmao
i did that to some person who insisted on taking 20 min turns in a quit=loss game.
Went for a smoke, realized i was running out and went to the store and got some. Came back only saw 10 min had passed so i took a nice long wizz(the kind u can almost relax to ) came back finished my turn he said can u please make your turns faster lol i asked him the same no further comments from his side. Game took 15 hours zzzzzz glad it was the weekend and i started at 11pm saturday.
Long turns are understandable 20-30min turns each turn is not.

My experience is that those who asks for deals is the one who doesn't deserve them!
I remember once in season 1 where I agreed not to attack before week3 or something, so I took a scout in boat to scout near his town, and there I saw a lot of holes in the ground he had found the grail and knew he had better chance if game lasted longer, of course he gave me other reasons like not liking rushing, early fights etc. Too bad Toh didnt have honor report at that time
Lately I remember one who wanted me to attack a few turns later etc and he lied to me about his situation, if I remember correct though he ended up in hall of shame.
Agree with Bjorn chat is NOT part of strategy!

quit=loss
this is now another new rule people pull..... quit or drop = loss. Let me tell all that if a dispute comes of such a thing, it is ignored... play that rule at your own risk.
Its another cheezy rule.

If you drop you lose, lol that is the cheapest rule & it shows that an opponent is scared of the other & wants to try to get a win over maybe a bad connection yes.
I seen some players here especially in tournaments, where someone accidently drops most likely from bad connection then they lose, what bull yes.

I've only made one in-game deal (out of my oh-so expansive number of games) it was with Hexa, he was coming to get me, so we agreed to make this one hero battle decide it all (it probably would have anyway, and I was going to lose either way) so I figured I'd save us both some time. He beat me handily and we reported and now everyone's happy. Luckily I knew I could trust Hexa (or at least thought so, because he was a good prescence on these here boards). With your average zone player, I would never do anything of the sort, though I would resign if I knew it was all over for me, I doubt most people would do so if they were losing. For the most part, avoiding in-game deals can save EVERYONE a lot of aggravation.
