1.4 Undocumented changes

INTERFACE
- "Close" button on every interface window
- Artifacts tooltips display their name, slot, effects and set effects
- Many icons have changed
-Charges and Cooldown timers appear on the creatures' ability buttons during fights.


GAMEPLAY
- Artifact sets are in game
- The tavern heroes' specialization can now be seen in the tavern
- The Tear of Asha can be built. The 4 different fragments of a Moon Disc become a Tear once you gather them all on the same hero.


ANIMATION
- Might heroes have a "ghost" animation when attacking (still can't deactivate it the cutscene )


SOUNDS
- Fixed the Crystal mine capture sound
- Morale and Luck triggers have a sound effect (an ugly one)
- "Out of movement" has a sound effect (just as ugly )
- New warning sound when we lose control of a mine (not controlling the fort/city of the area)


DYNASTY
- Dynasty levels require a lot more experience to be obtained (or they lowered the XP gained) - 100.000 XP for level 1

Guardian's Set
- 2 artifacts : +1 hitpoint to all ally creatures
- 4 artifacts : +2 Might Power / +2 Leadership
- 6 artifacts : +4 Might Defense / +2 Hitpoints to all ally creatures

Magister's Set
- 2 artifacts : +40 Max Mana
- 4 artifacts : +4 Might Defense
- 6 artifacts : +5 Magic Power / +5 Creatures' Initiative Bonus

Prophet's Set
- 2 artifacts : +4 Mana/day
- 4 artifacts : +4 Magic Defense / +4 Mana/day
- 6 artifacts : +4 Magic Defense / +4 Mana/day

Regent's Set
- 2 artifacts : +1 Core creatures' weekly growth
- 4 artifacts : +1 Elite creatures' weekly growth
- 6 artifacts : +1 Champion creatures' weekly growth

Trickster's Set
- 2 artifacts : +2 Destiny
- 4 artifacts : +4 Destiny
- 6 artifacts : +8 Destiny

Vagrant's Set
- 2 artifacts : +4% Experience gained
- 4 artifacts : +2 Land Movement / +2 Creatures' Initiative Bonus
- 6 artifacts : +5 Land Movement / +5 Creatures' Initiative Bonus

Warlord's Set
- 2 artifacts : +2 Might Power
- 4 artifacts : +4 Destiny
- 6 artifacts : +5 Might Defense /  +5 Creatures' Initiative Bonus

So far, the XP scale is :

Level 2 : 1.500 XP
Level 3 : 3.000 XP
Level 4 : 5.000 XP
Level 5 : 7.500 XP
Level 6 : 10.500 XP
Level 7 : 14.000 XP
Level 8 : 18.000 XP
Level 9 : 22.750 XP
Level 10 : 28.250 XP
Level 11 : 34.500 XP
Level 12 : 41.500 XP
Level 13 : 49.250 XP


The campaign scale seems to be the same as before with normal XP speed (x1)

That's good news, no more jump to lv 3 with stone of enlightenment . But I don't get why the campaign is set to 2000 instead of 1500 (if I understand well). Is the campaign supposed to give more challenge than normal play or they simply didn't fix the campaign at the same time. I noticed in previous versions already that some fixes didn't affect equally normal game and campaign.

Campaign curve was meant to be separate for a while now, the devs prefered a slower progression as opposed to a level cap.

This is looking good! X1 on that scale is arguably normal though I can see myself going for 1.5 modifier

-Might hero strike now displays it doing "Might damage" instead of just "damage" (Magic heroes does elemental dmg)
-Unit's ability cooldown now displays in another and better way

Great work Nelgirith, keep it up ^^ Tactics III seems to be gone now =/
- E-Cyclops now retaliates with their might attack (same dmg as Mighty Slam) instead of doing half of their ranged dmg.
- E-Cyclops 7 movement (from 8)
- They no longer display the amount of mana needed to cast special reputation skills (such as Armageddon or any other) on the hero reputation screen

Just a quick question, not really related to the subject, but...
Is there a way to patch demo to 1.4 version and get all mentioned changes? Or are demo players doomed to 1.3 patch, with 1 multi-map and no duels?

Well, not sure if I got this right, but isn't demo basically previous beta version of game in 1.3? Unless they made new client, just for the demo purposes, in that case, my previous question didn't happend

No, the demo is not the beta 1.3, it is based on the 1.3 version (you don't have Sandor or Irina's campaign for example).

Unless they consider the demo to not be in a playble state, there's little chance to see the demo being patched.
