Those people...
This thread is about those people. Do you remember them? The ones who changed your lives in a positive way? You don't have any? Think again...
We all have them, don't we?
I decided to start this thread because today is the birthday of the person who changed my life the most. A couple of minutes ago I was crying because I made him happy. Which to me is... It means a lot. I wrote a text for him, a really sweet thing (I don't write stuff like that but this time it was different). He is the one who made me cry the most also. But with no bad feelings, no. I cried because he made me happy, because he helped me in bad situations, because I missed him.
I met him in the beginning of the previous year - late April. It was a writing contest in which I participated. He run the contest. I won some stuff and so, books and other things like that but that was not the most important moment. I fell in love with... the ideas of this community. It's a foundation where this person, my special person, is in charge. He says that this is not true, but we all know it. This person is incredible. He can heal every wound of the soul, he can always help and always will help, he believes in people, he helps people believe in oneself... A couple of weeks after the contest I kept participating in Workshops where we talked about texts, we fixed ones, too. The community had a really nice book shop. It was a wonderful place. I will forever miss the comfort I felt there. And with all that joy of the new and of the things I love to do... He vanished. He got sick and just vanished. He was gone for like half an year... His girlfriend only told me that he's trying to get better and that the community will be no more. Those were painful days. Days full of miss... It hurt me much that I didn't know anything about him. I found out that his girlfriend left him, too. He was all alone... You can't imagine what I felt when I one day received letter from him. I started crying and jumping around happily, I was crying so much that I couldn't read the letter. I'm not an emotional person but this was... When he returned in my life I became alive... again.
Now things are really different. We are really close friends and I can trust him for everything. I love him more than everyone else. I just do. I just have to. I can't really describe him well, can I? I guess people like him are hard to describe... Now I'm a real part of the community, too, and it means a lot to me. Hey! You didn't get me wrong, did you? We are just friends, he is 14 years older than me... But he understands me the most.
Yes, there are other people who had a great role in my life, who still have and that will probably have. But I wanted to share with you this. Anyone else wanting to share something about people who changed him?  I will be more than happy to read about such.

Also you might want to change "share something about people who changed him" to "Anyone else wanting to share something about people who changed them?", I feel like I'm being targeted for some emotional sharing  ,
Well done Evi I'm sure there will be plenty of colourful replies, and I too will be anxiously waiting to read them  , but for myself it's a prohibited area of discussion.
I'll parhaps open up later since you were so kind as to share deep emotions with us, it's the least I could do.

I agree with Kodial. I have a couple of people who made my life immeasurably better by my getting away from them! lol

My life has been too short for me to know if they effected me in this way... and those few individuals that I have had dislike for have somehow redeemed themselves in one way or another... except for this one guy...

@ Meroe: See what happens when you encourage him? Psycho babble, and then we have to give Forfy his pills. They taste like strawberries. ((They're actually strawberries... don't tell him.))

Also to follow up on the OP, I actually consider myself to be such a person, if I'm not, it's soemthign I want to become, being the backbone of someone elses life is a godsend to those people .
