So...
I have time under my two weeks long holiday to do something and the situation was that one of my friends who read that pity thing called my first novel (never published as it costs a fortune to do so... and it is only hungarian in language and not so good IMO at all...) asked me why do not make I some rpg thing from that? I thought some about it and hell, why not?
So I tried to made an rpg-like whatever from that novel-like piece of crap and that is what this thread is really about!
Read it, think about it, comment it or ask if you want or just skip all of this and ignore...
But if you sacrifice your time to read and have questions send them here and I will answer it if I can or if you ask some detail that the post do not contain I put it right in the Misc. section!
If the bulk of you dear HC members think that this thing worth it I'll post this into the glade with every corrections and without this quoted part.

Many centuries passes since the first ships left behind their homeworld to launch an intergalactic expansion and ensure a place for a reascending race chased it's dreamed glory and destiny which has long been written in the desert's sand.

Imperium Galactica, Galactic Empire derived from a long dead language, is a wide expanding quarter of the galaxy which is founded by the Great Houses, mighty descendants of those noble families whom survived the raging Storm that almost crippled their homeworld and made humanity near extinct. The centre of this intergalactic empire is Terra Imperia, wich means roughly as Imperial Earth, the most beautyfull diamond of the Empire. Earth, as a capital, is well kept and almost sacred for the people that originate from it but for the other races, whom part or just neighbours or competitors of the Empire, is a shining pearl, an object of plots and plans.
Mighty on it's own the Empire is not a conqueror anymore as it was in it's very birth but rather a peacekeeping force which try to bring balance in the middle of the intergalactic affairs. The Empire is part of the Galactic Council, an organization of the most powerfull races of our galaxy, that governs the Milky-way and try to avoid an utterly devastating interspecies-conflict that brews so long as the Empire exists. Minor border skirmishes and short wars between the member nations of this Council is not rare but never serious as they ended with swift diplomatic arrangements.
The Galactic Empire is mostly consists of humans and nobles but within their rule or governorship there exist many smaller races that formly members of the Empire but truly they have not words and can not handle their own affairs. The Empire is feudal and have a strict but strong hierarchy that ensures it's very own functioning. Planets are ruled by Great Houses or more specifically every Great House is a ruler of a planet. A planet on it's own of course has it's own nobility, smaller Houses that rules certain regions of tha planet or handle the planets trade. These smaller Houses votes about planetary matters which may be accepted the ruling Great House or not, while Great Houses represents their own planets and all of those planets inner or outer affairs in the Nobles Council that handles interplanetary matters. The Emperor has the right to denies those matters that the Nobles Council formerly voted but just only one time. This gives the feudal system a democratic frame and ensures that the Emperor or the Great Houses can not establish a dictatorship.
This Empire has a rather typic history:
Somewhere near the end of the 21.st century on Earth the unsatisfied nobles started to band together for the first time since countless centuries to reforge their armies. A powerfull and advanced army has arisen and noone on the planet could stop their thundering advance and stand against their malocius rage and ruthless cruelty fueled by their despise towards humans. The Storm crippled the planets population as near six billion human died in the war or exterminated afterward. The humanity became the despised slaves of the vengefull Houses whom, after the eliminating of their common foe, fall back into their pitifull infightings for power and wealth. The young and ambitious first Emperor did not accept the planet as his heritage as he wanted something glorius and unbelieveable to rule: an Imperium Galactica. The war-wounded Houses banded together again to build up an army and a fleet capable of an intergalactic conquest. As their inherited technology was far more superior that humanity possessed in the time around it's bloody fall, the fleet was ready within a decade and soon after the conquest, called Star Crusade by the Emperor, begun. The requirements of the crusade weaken the Houses and many of them started to feel that their new found ways are not so great and glorious as they thought during the Storm. The paranoid Emperor angered a duke who has risen against him, turned out that the duke was a relative of the Emperor and as an elder noble the legal Emperor. Civil war errupted parallel with the star crusade and the tortured Earth once more became a bloodbath. The brutal bloodshed ended with a duel between the two leaders where both of them died and as the only members of their respective House their bloodline died with them. The old duke, the Peacebringer as the nobles called him, became a guideing light, an almost godlike person and after his inherent ideas the remaining Houses founded the Galactic Empire.
Meanwhile the crusade continued and many planets fallen in the grip of the nobles until the fighting forces exhausted. Without any more reinforcement the forcefull expansion ended and the new founded rulership under the new Emperor, who chosen by the old duke before his dead, started a wave of colonisation. With the anject of the new planets the Empire growht in strenght quickly and soon became a major power in it's quadrant of the galaxy. As the neighbouring aliens seen the quick rise in power they declared war on the Empire and only a few of them was fortunate enough to remain independent after their epic defeats. Seen those unnecessary bloodbath the Empire made a plan to ensure the safety of themselves as weel as others and they asked the formation of the Galactic Council. This foundation triggered an era of prosperty, a golden age for the galactic nations and at the same time cement the political borders and influential spheres...






The Empire itself consists many different races and other races build major civilizations through the galaxy. Red '*' indicates playable races.

Nobles*
Nobles or Homo parabellum originate from planet Earth and have common roots with the common humans. In appearance the nobles are smaller and slimmer than humans physically looks fragile compared with a normal human however the nobles are way faster and have far higher dexterity. As the ruling race of the Empire the nobles fills the most positions of power and add the bulk of the Imperial Forces. Technologically superior than humans nobles forbid the use of certain technologies and researching of technologies. Nobles forms Houses which are bands of families that shares the same blood and wear the same family name. Every members of those Houses are relatives of each other but in many cases far relatives enough to let members marrying with each others. Marriage is a diplomatic tool of the Houses used to forge alliances between Houses or seal deals or vendettas. Nobles are trained since their age of 4 and every single noble, men and women alike, receive military training and education of warfare. Nobles have a longer lifespan than humans and born with special abilities like fast regeneration, nightvision or certain combat abilities. Their backward is that they are not as fertile as humans and way less passionate. Nobles, contrary with humans, has no psionic powers and incapable of telepathy without cybernetical enchantments...

Humans*
The well known Homo sapiens are almost went extinct in the legendary Storm but their number increased drastically during the passing centuries. The humans are physically stronger and bulkier than nobles but slower and a little less nimble. They make up the bulk of the commonfolk and the members of the smaller Houses are came from humans to. They are workers, traders and servants but their number in the military is very limited as the nobles still not trust within them. Humans nature is way less chaotic than nobles but their racial heritage make them unreliable with imperial standards. Humans born without special abilities or feats but many of them received limited psionic powers during the passed 5 thousand years and as such they capable of telepathy. Humans generally as the same as what they nowadays...

Solarian
One of the most ancient races of the galaxy the solarians once called and known on Earth as gods. They are very similar in appearence than humans but their skin is smoother and shinier. They are faster and stronger than humans but equals in quickness and dexterity with the nobles. They are technologically advanced but has an empire spans only 8 star systems. Guardians of life and peace they are one of the most prominent and active member of the Galactic Council and their sheer opinion is often enough to decide matters. Solarians once took care of the people of Earth and even since they often call earthlings as their children. They were the ones whom elevate the humans out of mere slavery and make them a free member of the Galactic Empire. Their lifespan is counted in tenthousands of standard years and some of them are older than one million years. They are mentally strong and masters formidable psionic powers as well as they could manipulate the free flowing energies around themselves (this once called magic on Earth but in the Empire it is called as Energy Bending).

The Silents
These mysterious creatures known galaxy-wide as the Silents but they prefer to refer themselves as the Ysalamiiry. They are hardly living creatures as they are mostly program codes that has physichal bodies or someone may refer them as embodied programs. They could breath, breed and die as living creatures but they exist as software in their homeworlds brain cores where they could reborn if another body become available to fill. They are so ancient that even the Solarians do not know their exact origin. Warlike and xenophobic race but they rather evade others than make any sort of contact despite that they have such technologies that even the nobles or solarians can not understand. They joined for the Galactic Council but they appear only if they have serious business with the others. They appear always in their synthetic armours so their appearence is unknown. If they lost in a battle they kill themselves and disintegrates their bodies left only their empty armours behind. Their blood is different in every specimens case and their gender can not be decided from their physical appearence if they have even genders. They have limited psionic powers that enables them to communicate with other races telepathically.

Mindbenders
These horrible creatures influence the depictation of such horrors like Cthulhu or the D&D mindflayers. They refer themselves as I'yilli'rith which means on their own language 'Uttermost Masters'. They are higly racist and see everyone else as inferior and utterly ugly and horrible. They are weak and fragile, their skin is pinkish or brownish with certain yellow shade while their eyes are white. Their head resembles for an octopus usually has 4-6 tentacles around their mouth but the most oldest ones have up to 10 tentacles. Their fingers are long and slim and they wear big cloaks that hides their pitifull bodies. For breeding they need 3 genders but every single specimens born as man or women and after copulation they transmutate to hermaphrodites to lay eggs. After this they break back to their borned gender untill the next breeding. While they are weak and fragile they possess the strongest psionic powers of the known universe but their numbers are way to low to dominate the galaxy. They are forced members of the Galactic Council as they joined after their bloody defeat they suffered from the Empire and the Solarians. They could be blame however with the extermination of at least 5 species. They possess 9 planets spread in the galaxy and all of their technology is bionic.

Medurian*
The Medurian Tribes are one of the most interesting races of the galaxy as they have no planets not even a homeworld. They wandering through the galaxy with their hiveships and interact with others rarely. All medurian is female and they organized in a hive-society ruled by the Mother who has no legs just an overgrowth ovipostor full of embrios. Medurians are humanoid in appearence with reptile-like skin, tentacle like hair, webbed fingers and have no eyebrows. The common females, called 'Smallsisters' have no nipples as they can not breed just copulate while the so called 'Largesisters' has nipples and as they reach a certain point of their life their legs fuse and transforms to an ovipostor. As the race completely has not males they mostly reproduce with parthenogenesis but they could copulate with other humanoid race's males to breed. They are fast, agile and more stronger than a human but they have no special psionic powers just the common link that batch a hive together... Sometimes they referred as 'Space gypsies'. Most exepting attribute of this race that medurian never wear any kind of clothing or armour only their natural skin!

Mind warriors
Noone knows the true name of this race whom mysteriously joined the Council. They posses surprisingly advanced technologies but has only one planet on their own and colonize or conquest nothing. They wear a brown robe with metal paddings and a bonewhite mask to hide themselves. Their only tool is a staff with glowing crystals growth from it. In combat situations they use this staff for multiple purposes: when the staff is swirled the warrior teleport itself and reappear with another swirl while as an attack method the staff amplify their psionic powers and emits dreadfull psionic blasts. They are thought gender neutral as they have no distinctive signs of different genders. Peaceful race that always try to find diplomatic solutions instead of martial. Their speciality is that they follows the solarians as their gods even though the solarians never met with them before their joining to the Galactic Council...

Shel'oth
These aliens were in their bronz-age like era of history when the ancient noble crusade reached them and conquered them. Since then they are free members of the Empire and pursue the tasks of mining and underwater actions. They are humanoids in appearance with blue skin and a hairless body. They have only two fingers on each limbs that makes them somehow clumsy. Although they never forgot that the nobles conquered them they follow them as their mentors and masters...

Ssh'Llk
Maybe the most unique from the known races of the galaxy the Ssh'Llks are plants that reached sentience. They are young starfarers and occupied only 6 planets via intense colonisation. They not members of the Council but have lots of trading arrangements with the council members. They are passionately hated by the mindbenders as their plant-mind works so differently that can not be affected by their psionic powers.

Ethereals
Energy based life forms from the dead planet of Alpha Pavonis. The solarians often refers them as 'stargods' or 'star angels' but their true name and origin is a shaded secret of the galaxy's dawn. They hate the Council as they see it as a factor that threaten the galaxy itself but do not intervene into anything. They, as someones says, sworn to watch but never interfere.

Daemons
This lame name is given for this interdimensional specie by the children of Earth as they remember them their mythical daemons and evil spirits. As a mostly inter(or extra)dimensional race many of them has not any physical body but capable to capture one for themselves. They usually mutate the occupied body to the shape they represent in their true dimensional form and because of this they are dreaded and often hated by other races. The solarians sometimes tells tales about this race and their once glorious civilization that vanished eons ago...







Classes that could be picked by the 'playable' races are(np means non-playable race which also have these classes available):

Soldier
Available for: - Human
Soldiers are the 'cannon fodders' of the Imperial Army, they build up the militia garrisons. Trained to use ranged weapons and combat vehicles they are the lowest members of the military and as such they have no access for such technologies like shields. Usually armed with rifles and combat armour they have the ability to strike from range and usually stay away from hot situations. Soldiers serve 40 years before they force to retire and the lowest age of join to their rank is 20. They came from the commoners and have no special stat requirements.

Battlemedic
Available for: - Noble, Human
Battlemedics are the salvations of those whom get injured, wounded or crippled on the battlefield. They receive special training to fullfill their task so they have less time to trained in the martial arts. They usually armed and armoured lightly and almost always have escort troops. They have the ability to lower pain, cure wounds, implant implants and ressurrect those whom could be ressurrected. Their rank is somewhere in the middle of the rank-ladder and Battlemedic is the highest rank a human could achieve in the military (the lesser Houses children could get this rank). Such characters need high dexterity and intelligence to be successfull Battlemedics.

Wartech
Available for: - Noble, Human(only those whom came from the lesser Houses)
Wartechs' task is to maintain the wargears and make the captured items usable on the battlefield. They receive intense technological training and have a very special oath to never share their knowledge with non-Wartechs. They armed usually stronger than Battlemedics but their access for technology is restricted. They have middle-important ranks within the military and have a separate line of command that the other armed forces. Wisdom and intelligence is their primary requirements.

Renegade
Available for: - Medurian
Renegades are the medurians that lost their hives or somehow became exiled. They are an unofficial part of the army and used as scouts and hunter-killers. As every medurian have seduction skills the renegades are also usefull for interrogation purposes. This class have no rank as they are not part strictly of the military. Dexterity and charisma is their strong points.

Warrior
Available for: - Noble, Solarian(np)
The warriors are the most versatile of all classes as they have countless specialisation options like weaponmaster, master-brawler or commando. They are masters of the close-combat, melee even though they armed with ranged weapons. They have access almost every technology that available for the Empire and with certain sacrifices they could earn certain special ablities. The list of available techs for a warrior is depends on the warriors wisdom however their primary stat requirement is dexterity.

Spellbinder
Available for: - Noble, Medurian, Solarian(np)
Spellbinders are the most elite troops of the official military as they are effectively war-mages. They trained to bend and fold the free flowing energies around them to make the battlefields living hells for any opponents who dare to stand and fight. As they have special training to use 'magic' their martial skills are rather low so if they forced to melee they sucked...Two different sub-class exist for them: spelljammers are defensive casters while spellweavers are offensive users of the energy bending. Medurian spellbinders are weaker than noble casters but have far more better melee statistics. Spellbinders need high wisdom, intelligence and charisma to reach the highest levels of their class.

Peregrinator temporalis
Available for: - Noble, Solarian(np)
This secret class is the pinnacle of the army, the elite of the super elites. They have access whatever technology they want and use such technologies that not even the wartechs known their existence. The speciality of this class that they could make short jumps in time (maximum 10 years) forward or backward on their own but as a fighting force they could go every part of the timeline. Their task is to guard the timeline and eliminate everything that threats it. Peregrinators are trained by solarian dark templars and they must have high values from all of their stats.


These classes available only for non-playable races:

Lancer
Available for: - Mindbenders, Solarians
Lancers are ranged fighters with different kind of energy-lances, galactic alternatives of the long forgotten archers. They are skilled shooters but thanks for their staff-like weapons they are formidable hand-to-hand fighters to. They usually act in groups to support faster close-combat units.

Psyker
Available for: - Mindbenders, Ethereals
Psykers are powerfull users of psionic energies absolutely capable of doom everyone who dare to face them. They could controll another creature's mind as well as use psionic blasts to blow up others mind or paralyze them for further free actions...

Dark templar
Available for: - Solarian
They are the pinnacle of the mighty solarian army. Elite energy-blenders, spellbinders with unusual psionic capabilities and such powers that can manipulate the eternal Void itself. Unparalleled and undisputed the dark templars are one-person armies that harder to stop than someone could imagine...

Leader
Available for: - Medurian, Ssh'Llk, Mind warrior
This class is versatile and powerfull as it have the ability to controll and handle whole groups consist of different classed units. Leaders have high morale and gives bonuses their troops and comrades and if they need to fight personally they always have champions to fights for them before they come to hit. Leader is best descibe as a prestige class that could be reach by every proper character who have enough levels or sheer power to became a leader.

Calyndi borned as the only daugther of House Howell and destined to seal the House's connection with a strategic marriage. However Calyndi wasn't a very cute girl she become a fine women. She graduated the Academy with almost the best grades and planned to be a part of the Imperial Army (she wanted to join the elite Noble Highguard). Soon she called back home by her father. On way home she met with Ayden Vlooz'reess and fallen love with him. Their way soon splitted and she continued her way home with her love in her hearth. Her journey ended on the Imperial Earth, capital planet of the Imperium where she cancelled her marriage by almost castrating her would-be mate. Soon after that intermezzo she joined for the Noble Council to vote to wield war. Here she figured out that her love Ayden sacrificed himself to stop the madness but the he couldn't and the war become inevitable. She voted the war efforts and entered to active service. After 5 years of fighting against different alien races the Imperium asked her to join a special unit which fighting trough time. So, Calyndi become a Peregrinator temporalis (literally: Time traveller) and fought like that since...

But times changing and the Timewar she fought may lead for utter destruction of everything in the universe. But Calyndi are ready to face everything to fulfill her duty and save the innocents...






Armour
Armour provides physiclal protection against kinetic effects of every kind but often heavy and clumsy and decreases the wearer's mobility and\or dexterity. This is the most common protection fielded from the infantry to the starships. Basically these are plates from various matters, alloys that need physical space to employ them. Infantry armour is various and numerous in kind while craft armour used to protect vehicles, mechs, planes or starships or whatever is basicly the same kind of armour. Infantry armour could be chainmail or scalemail what the nobles prefer to wear or rigid plate armours what is commonly available for humans serve in the military. Rare and special armours have the ability to heal their wielders while others blend into the surrounding make their wearer a deadly chamaleon. Some kind of armour that the warrior class often use is a composition of chain- or scalemail and platings. This kind of armour is heavier than the pure chains or scales but offer better kinetic protection against melee weapons. The most advanced noble chains and scales are very light and almost as durable as the rigid titanium plates of the vehicles carapace while it do not decrease the dexterity and the mobility but of course such armours are available only for those whom come from powerfull or very rich Houses. As for non-playable races armour is commonly available but medurians never wear any kind of armour or clothing!

Shield
Shields are special defensive systems available only for the nobles and the vehicles. Shields are energy-fields around a certain object that protects the defenced object from every kind of kintetic and often energy-based threats. The most basic shields are basicly based upon the wave-matter disruption effect and protects against ranged, fast moving threats while slow things like swords are pierce them through easily. This kind of 'basic shields' have the backward of the so called pseudo-atomic reaction: if hit by laser the laser's source and the shield itself detonates with the power of a smaller atomic weapon. Basic shields available only for infantry as well as vibro-shields. Vibro-shields has no pseudo-atomic reaction if hit by laser and lets slip through only metal or plastic blades with very slow motion. Vehicles are very rarely protected by shields as their armour protection is considered fair enough to do so. Starships, on the other hand, are shielded with vacuum- or distortion-shields which are far more stronger than any kind of infantry shields and could withstand the direct hits of such weapons that are easily capable of destroying moons and desolate planets on their own. Every shield has the backward of overloading if suffers so much deflected energy within a short period of time and an overloaded shield disappears and need a long time to recharge and work again. Shields are available only for nobles but with the exeptation of the medurians every race use shields to protect their ships in combat situations. Solarians have special shields that prevent even daemons to penetrate while mindbenders have personal shields that make them almost invulnerable against psionic effects.

Melee weapons
Preferred weapons of the nobles. They can be blades, hammers or whatever kind of weapons designed for close-combat situations. These weapons could be either energy-based or normal, well-known kinetic-based. Kinetic is for example is the common titan-aluminium cutlass while the light-swords are plasma-based energy weapons. There exists a special kind of melee weaponry available only for the solarians and high-ranked nobles: the energy blades. These weapons are standard blades that vibrates so fast that the vibration triggers an energy-effect around the cold matter and this composition make the weapon an almost all-cutting beauty. Melee weapons are traditional for every kind of races but only a few of them use them as primary weapons.

Kinetic ranged weapons
These are the basic weapons of the human soldiers including pistols, rifles and machine-guns these weapons firing high-velocity kinetic-projectiles from a very wide range of types such as blades, shards, bullets, high-explosive or different kind of grenades and missiles. As for the vehicles and other warcrafts these weapons are only secondary or supporting tools as in their scale the energy-based weapons are much preferred...

Energy-based ranged weapons
The cliche sci-fi kind of weaponry shooting various energy blasts or rays with deadly effects. Most common are the different lasers, plasma weapons or disruptors while specific or even race-based are the energy lances or power lances. There exists specially designed energy weapons that designed to overload shields or in some cases totally ignore them and damage the armour instantly. These kind of weaponry is preferred by every known races and fielded intesively.

Sonic weaponry
This kind of weapons are used only by the Ssh'Llk and completely unavailable for any other races even though the solarians and the daemons knows the basic principles to forge such weapons. Sonic weapons use empowered or modulated sonic waves to damage the target in molecular to subatomic levels however the most basic shields could nullify their effect but on the other hand sonic weapons are ideal to overload shields. Mind warriors and mindbenders are affected far less than other races by the sonic weapons.

Implants
Implants are tools within or partly within someones body with certain functions like make her\him stronger or faster or make possible to use a crippled limb or replace disfunctioning or lost organs. Nobles do not use implants that enchant their abilities as they found their harmony between their body and abilities and such implants easily break this harmony. Humans on the other hand use them extensively to make themselves better. Nevertheless implants are mostly the tools of healing and sanity and are less the tools of combat. Implants are expensive and often became dangerous in certain circumstances and that makes them 'not commonly spread' items. Availability of implants is strongly controlled by the nobles but outside of the Empire the other races sometimes use them extensively for their own shady purposes...

Warcrafts
The militaries of the galaxy uses different classes of warcrafts like combat vehicles, aircrafts and starships. The wheeled vehicles are literally extinct as every ground combat vehicle is either tracked, hover-based or walking. The combat vehicles of the most militaries including troop-transports, artilleries, anti-role (Anti-tank, anti-air, etc.) vehicles and tanks. The noble warmachines are named after their chassis as the weaponry is always modular and could be changed easily from a wide range of weapons. As an example: The Imperator tank is a tank chassis which could be armed with plasma-cannons as well as laser-cannons or ultra auto-cannons. Usually the upkeeping House's demand influence the weaponry of the vehicles so a combat vehicle is herald the preference of it's upkeeper House. Troop transports and tanks are handled by either humans or nobles while speciel platforms are exclusive for nobles.
Mechs are special class of ground-based warcrafts as these are bipedal fighting machines with extreme manouverability and heavy firepower. Every single mechs are the perfect copy of those that was depicted in an ancient sci-fi novel series called Battletech. Nobles liked those intimidating designs and adapted them for their own needs and purposes. Mechs are piloted by mechwarriors wich are warriors whom received some extra training to be capable of handling such a massive engine of war. Humans are not allowed to even dreaming about these sophisticated warmachines as nobles fear that let humans piloting mechs may lead a human uprising. And they are right as everyone knows that humans are hardly trustworthy because their racial features...
Aircrafts are air-borned tools of war including transporters, fighters, aero-space interceptors, bombers and starfighters. Usually piloted by one person the aircrafts are secondary tools of the noble military while other races use them as primary striking forces. Pilot of an aircraft could be humans but they must prove themselves time after time. The main cause that humans could become aircraft pilots is that nobles afraid of flying!
The last big class is the naval class that includes the original naval units (ships and submarines) and the starfaring crafts like the starships. These units are heavily crewed, armoured and armed and usually the base of certain operations. Starfaring units are the ultimate crafts that sometimes capable of eradicate planets and destroy smaller moons. Naval units have a distinct and different line of commands than the aircrafts or ground based units. The navy is open for everyone without racial discrimination but mixed crews sometimes means more trouble than advancement...





Noble Houses
Nobles and humans are originate from Earth and share common roots but represents different species. In the ancient times the nobles were warriors which means they have trained to use their natural abilities for their advantage. As they learned those abilities and their usage those factors started to shown themselves in a genetic level and as time passes those became stonger and stronger traits. Soon the warriors herit their abilities gentically while common humans could not access their dormating abilities and this sheer fact started to make a rift between them. The turning point came when some of the warriors betrayed their former comrades and lifestyle they deemed as useless and sunken into chaos. The touch of their newfound chaotic ways made the traitors certainly paranoid which lead to the decision that they wont breed with humans to save themselves from 'human feelings'. This made their genetic traits more and more pure and their abilities stronger while slowly the genetic rift made the 'dark warriors' to became a subspecie of the human race. As time passes they became genetically different until the genetic rift reached the level where the humans and the dark warriors considered two different species however the two species could cross-breed with each others. Since that time there were two race that may call itself as the child of Earth. After the beginning of a new era the dark warriors became nobles as their superior skills and abilities help them to win lands and power. With the beginning of the Middle-age the nobles cement their place in the human society but went into a great hiding as they feared that the humans may turns against them. Their number growth until the humans really turned against them but not because of genetic causes but social. This fact justified their decision to hide further among humans and growth their number until they become strong enough to have their vengeance. At the beginning of the 21.st century they had this strenght but the common distrust and web of vendettas delayed their uprising and inevitable victory over their human siblings...
Nobles bear their family names with proud and glory as these names have real history on their own. Many names of this imperial era is unchanged since the terran wake, like the House names of Howell, Takeda or Despana(sometimes Despina or Despena). Other names are relatively new but originate from old terran noble names as for example the House name Nesme evolved from Nesmith. The bulk of the Houses have their respectfull names but some Houses are parts of bloodlines. Bloodlines originate from those fallen warriors whom fallen into the chaos and betrayed their former selves and comrades. These traitors' names are the name of their bloodlines and their children's name is the original House names that part of those aformentioned bloodlines. Bloodline names are something that demand respect on it's own regardless of the House's wealth or power that bears it. The most prominent example is House Vlooz'reess as the name Vlooz'reess is the direct shortening of the bloodline name Val'Vlooz'reess but of course this House is unique and the only that has the same name.
Furthermore the inner system of a noble House is important to. There are two type: matriarchal and patriarchal. Matriarchal Houses teach for their members that females are superior and these Houses are ruled exclusively by women while patriarchal Houses are the contraries. If a member from a patriarchal family married into a matriarchal family then he must adapt for the matriarchal lifestyle (or vice versa). Inherite of power is often direct but sometimes the actual ruler marks her\his followers in the power. If there is no direct heir and noone chosed to inherit the members of the affiliated House starts to struggle for the power wich means a miniature civil-war...

Dating
Everyone knows that the time before the birth of Christ is signed with 'BC' but 'AD' is have a different meaning in the Noble Empire. What was once the 'AD's' meaning is now shortened 'SD' means Standard Date while 'AD' is the shortened form of the 'After the Duke'. This refers that Duke whom escalate and errupt a civil-war and killed the first Emperor and showed the nobles that their way of life is just plain wrong. Since his death he became an almost godlike figure and his glorious death heralds the beginning of a new era so the time of his death is 0 AD which is circa 2100\2102 (someone says even 2107) SD.

Language and Religion
Every race of the Galactic Council has it's own specific languages and almost every cases they use translators to understand each other. Learn alien languages is often hard and take way to long so translators are far more better and they are quite reliable and advanced. The Empire's official language is the 'Quess', the noble language but the humans have kept the terran english as their common language but they must learn their noble superiors' language because there do not exist an english-noble translator and nobles think that learn english is not proper and fit for them. Psi-capable races like the Mindbenders are usually use their mental powers to communicate and as such they do not need translators to translate their words but understanding other languages need learning even for them. Psionic races use language-speaking persons instead of translators because they feel unconfortable their use. Ethereals and Daemons however seems to understand basicly the languages of the other races but their ways of communication is often fearsome and utterly alien.
Religion is some key factor for every intelligent races even if these races have already deep understanding towards the universe surrounds them. Religion is a tool to make things comfortable and easier to understand while ensures the promise of something what is far more bigger and stronger that a specie's racial fears. The aliens have their own religious matters and rites as well as the children of Earth has and often think other religions as inferior or heretic in comparison. Most of the younger races follows the Solarians, Ethereals or Daemons as their gods or as some godlike beings worthy to follow. These three races also have their almost religious views of the universe or in some case the multiverse. As for the Empire the bulk of the humans are still christians and that makes them often religiously fanatic and idiotic on a racial level. The minority follows different and often alien religions or simply atheists. The nobles have their own quasi religious beliefs as they think that the Duke who won the civil-war against the first Emperor was their saviour and showed their way of life worthy to follow. This view rose the Duke from a nobleman to the level of a godlike figure and therefore he became the founder of the 'Noble Religion'. While this is the commonly accepted religion of the Empire some nobles rather follows the Solarians or certain Daemon lords as godlike things...

Primary stats
The following diagram shows the six primary stats of every characters of the above listened races. The parameters are minimum - maximum ranges and the normal or common stats are the exact halfways between those given parameters!


Special abilities
Certain characters whom originate from certain races have special abilities they could use in combat. While these abilities make them stronger than their normal counterparts the price to have one from these abilities is rather high an permanent. If a character have a special ability that character has 25% less health and never have offsprings while die earlier. Special ablilities are highly regarded and glorified but socially make their users more vulnerable and often lonely. Special abilities could be leveled-up in every 5 level-ups and first could be picked up on level 15. Here are the list of the special abilities with their description (and the races that could use them):
- Vector: (Nobles, Solarian)
The user of this ability could concentrate it's energies up to 15 meters. This has an effect in use like to swing a 15 meters long invisible blade. Using this ability drains enormous energy from the user who become fatigued quickly.
- Sheer strenght: (Nobles, Solarian, Medurian)
The user of this ability could transform it's energies for pure might for a short time. This result a might that can crush stone with bare hands.
- Double strike: (Nobles)
This ability duplicate the users strike simultanously. With one weapon it cause to attack two different angles simultanously with two weapons she\he could strike from four angles. Using this abiliy drains energy of the user who become fatigued relatively quick.
- Blinding strike: (Nobles, Solarian, Mind warriors)
The user of this ability become with her\his attacks very quick for a short time. The pace of attack with the user's weapon(s) is so quick that the weapons cannot be seen.
- Lightning move: (Nobles, Solarian)
The user of this ability become very quick and can dodge with lightning speed (however ligth's speed can't be surpassed with this ability). During the use of this ability the user can only move quickly but can't attack.
- Prescience: (Nobles, Medurians, Mindbenders, Mind warriors)
The user of this ability senses everything around itself even if she\he is blind (no light, or really blinded somehow). Prescience could be use to sense a blinding strike and evade it. The ability could be use for a moderate time around 10-15 mins.
- Nightwatch: (Nobles, Medurians, Mindbenders, Ethereals, Daemons)
This ability make possible to see in lightless places. Could be use as long as the user's eyes become fatigued and lost her\his seeing for a short time. If someone make flash against someone who use nightwatch ability the ability's user become blind for a very long time (even some days long).
- Damper: (Nobles, Solarian, Mind warriors, Ethereals)
This ability works as the vector but damper generates a defensive field around the user's body as long as the user have enough energy to maintain the damper. Using damper do not prevent the user to attack.
- Instant regeneration: (Nobles, Medurians, Ethereals, Daemons)
This ability cause unbelieveable healing capacities however it cannot help against cutted limbs or decapitation. But every slashing, piercing, cutting or shooting damage can be heal almost instantly even the lethal ones! This ability could be use as long as the user have enough energies to fuel the healing process.
- Mindblast: (Mindbenders, Mind warriors, Ethereals)
This ability targets a creatures mind directly and could have various effects if successfull. The most cases the mindblast could explode the creatures mind but rarely knock the targeted creature unconscious and ready to dominate it's mind or kill with a quick blow. Mindblast have the effective range of maximum 25 meters.
- Shapeshift: (Daemons)
Shapeshifting makes possible to alter a physical body which is the usual habit of those daemonic creatures whom successfully possess a body. First the daemon must capture the body and the creatures mind and if this is completed they are ready to shift their new body as they want. Shifting the body enables the daemons to alter their original primary stats so they may become more dangerous and powerfull that they were before!

Fighting styles
- Single weapon:
Fighting with only one close-combat weapon is the most common and widespred style of fighting. It is easy to learn and require no special talents like two-handing or ambidexterity.
- Two weapons:
Fighting with two melee-weapons simultanously is a rather devastating style in combat and common among the nobles and the elerians while very rare among humans. This is a key feature for those nobles whom want to be Weaponmasters.
- Two-handed:
Fighting with two-handed weapons like staffs, lances or other long and heavy weapons. This style is preferred by the humans and solarians while rare among the nobles. This style of fighting requires strenght above everything else.
- Sword & ranged:
A mixed style of fighting preferred among assault-oriented troops. The main weapon is bladed and are for assault and cause enormous damages while the second weapon is ranged for support roles or finish off wounded opponents.
- Single ranged:
A usually support style where the character equipped with any kind of ranged weapon. Recommended only for support characters as with this style comes with enormous melee-penalties.
- Two ranged:
Fighting with two ranged weapons is need more training and way higher dexterity but of course far more effective. Lower melee-penalties as the character have more chance to defend itself with two weapons than with only one...
- Unarmed:
Fighting with bare hands or claws this style needs high strenght and dexterity for effective usage. This is the fighting style of the medurians and the other races see this style as inferior and far to dangerous.

IC is in character. You play as if you're the character and it's where the actual RPG happens.

I'm also very much interested in this.

DM or GM is Game Master: the main story teller, the one who steers the game. Not every RPG has a Game or Dungeon Master, though.
