Did they change the knight on the menu screen?
After I beat "A Bridge too Far" skirmish map and getting back to the menu screen today, I think the colouring of the Knight's armor was different.
Before it was all silver and shinny, now it got dark silver almost blueish with some white parts. I like the new one better! 
Did I unlock any achievement that changed that?

Hey, if the new patch 1.2 comes out and I install it, will it get rid of my current 1.1.1 savegames?

In the past, the safe way has been to complete all the maps one is playing before patching...so you can try to make sure it doesn't automatically patch your game before you finish the map [if playing online]...it may even be better to start campaigns after upcoming patchQuote:

The chances of that being better may only be the chance of basic luck imo but it may be the best chance yet...
I would like it better if Ubisoft improved their focus, but yeah what's the chances of that happening when losses continue and then it becomes a self-feeding circle focusing on reducing negatives (eg. more DRM, reducing budgets) instead of focusing on improving positives (eg. try as hard as one can to keep previous customers while enticing more, learning from the past).
Could more regular quick-fixes/patches/improvements help combat piracy since the code changes regularly?

Hmm i have 2 questions.
1: What was that mini patch of last week? im sure i saw it patch somwething last week but i have been unable to see a version diff or see patch note's
2: in the 2nd stronghold campaign map i decided to go for the blood way for my staff but it dousnt show up in my dynasty. do i need to finnish the map first or load a save and obtain it again?

load, obtain equip save and exit

Why would be something wrong with my monitor? The rest of the game and everything else looks as usual.
I think it's the brightness that's been taken away. But I didn't change anything in the options.
Well, whatever, I like this new look better...

I figured it out. Somehow the lighting in the option got set to low. Not by my hand though. Oh well, might just leave it like that as well. This time around the ghouls' baldness isn't shinny. Heheh...
Anyway, has anyone ever got a glimpse of... Moonblade Elves?

I'm rank 74 in earned DP on the leaderboard with 33600 DP  Anyone know how to get the Week of plague achievement? I buy all units before the week of plague but I never get it, what am I doing wrong?

So I reached the point where I free Veyer from a Necropolis Fort with Kiril in the Inferno Campaign. He asks me to convert the Fort which is what I was going to do anyway.
But, oh noes! I get +125 Tears points for telling him no and guess what? I'm on the Tears Path!
So I have Kiril telling Veyer that he's "not here destroy these lands" and he's not gonna convert the Fort.
Veyer gets pissed off and leaves and I get my tear points. And after that, well, I convert the Fort! Why, what good is it to me an uncoverted one?
RPG elements they said? BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
It just doesn't get sillier than this...

I played as tear too. But unlike you at that point i kept the fort as it was throughout the game xD Rank 67 with 33750 DP now Still anyone got the week of plague done?

lols, they didn't even take away the option to convert the fort when you chose no?

Yeah, it's the same in Naga Campaign mission 3, towards the end, where I get the last necro town and these fleet if necro ships arrive but you don't fight them if you choose tears path and the boss Dragon Eel just tsunami's them and sinks them, not sure if you fight them on blood path....
P.S. - Cool pic of Haven opening screen, so turned down the lighting effects...hhmmmm might be cool to do....although the Haven dude doesn't look like tears hero anymore...

Man, that was disappointing. Sanctuary map 3, I was thinking I was gonna have me some epic battles with the Necro ships and then there comes the Dragon Eel and sinks them all away!
Where do you think you're going, you blue tard!? These were my kills there! FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway, I got my revenge against it with Sandor in the third Stronghold map. Pretty weak as a boss, very lacklusting, when comparing with King Bounty's bosses, this one seems like it's for preschoolers.

anyways the equip thing didnt work. But after some looking around and trying i guess the best fix for obtaining dynasty weps would be.
- Obtain dynasty wep
- equip on a hero ether main or secondairy
- get some experience with it
- Unequip it
- Save + Quit to main menu
- Start a new custom game
- equip the Dynasty wep
- Get it one level up
- and then it shows up.
So much trouble but hey atleast it works
