I voted Shadow Witch because minotaurus are pretty much a given, I hope we have Gorgons (medusa), they being Naga who turned from Shalassa to Malassa in their search of knowledge. I still dont think that faceless should be a creature

The question is whether Dungeon is linked to Dark Elves or not....
Minotaurs - if not linked
Blood Maidens - if linked (just loved them for creeping in H5)

I know its unlikely but I would love to see the Minotaur being the champion unit in the dungeon.... always loved them but ill be happy if they are elite and the Manticore is the Champion possibly.

Voted for Faceless. Minotaurs are 100% to be included, but I hope Hydras won't sneak up to occupy the Champion level... I'm sure Dungeon will be the first new town we get, it's the easiest for the devs to pull off.

Oh, Dungeon will definitely be added. What with the game taking place around the time of Thuidana and her Dark Elves converting to Malassa, and Raelag being shown in the epilogue, Dungeon is a given, as are Sylvan and Academy at a certain point.

To me, Faceless seem like an unoriginal champion creature; basically just a dark angel. I think it would be better if they weren't in the lineup at all, and have new creatures. In fact, that's what I expect is going to happen, because ubihole seems intent on making their own unique creatures this time. Some new monstrosity would be (imo) much cooler than a Faceless.

Not really, Stronghold is relatively unchanged for example. They do add new creatures, but actually having a Faceless Champion would be considered "new" anyway. As for it being a "dark Angel", blame that on the lore itself.

The problem with Faceless as a champion is that if they come out on the battlefield, they are, in essence, not Faceless anymore. To me, Faceless sounds like someone who would sit behind the scenes and carefully pull the strings; manipulative and cunning, but not an actual warrior. Besides, I think the reason why Stronghold was not greatly altered was that (imo) it was perfected already. Changing the executioners to panther warriors for better synergy with lore, swapping the genders of the shaman and centaur for some originality, and making the cyclops look more demonic is about all it took. Dungeon, on the other hand, will need serious revamping, because half the line up was a copy paste from Warhammer.

I agree with Vindicator. Judging by their personalities, Faceless would prefer guile over battling their foes in the open (unlike for instance, the Angels, who are quite beligerent). They should be the Heroes (or perhaps even the Magic Class, with Dark Elf Beastmasters for Might?).

But the irony of that is that Black Hole already got a Warhammer game so I doubt they'd have any issues with another "rip off/homage" in their own Heroes now.
I don't expect major changes, obviously the female domination would stay too (since the other factions got prominent female units in H6), in fact I can see it also getting the Stronghold treatment with only the Dragon and the Rider dropped.
Why can't the Faceless appear in battle if the Angels can? If we get a Faceless Champion at least the idea of a Faceless faction can finally be dropped.

Just because there are females in the lineup doesn't mean that they are dominating; I'm pretty sure there's still more males in each one (call me out if I'm wrong).
Although I'm sure Blackhole would like to make a Warhammer-ish Dungeon, it's Ubisoft calling the shots, and I bet they wouldn't want something like H5 Dungeon happening again.

We already know from the epilogue that it's the same dark elf faction, so I'm not sure just how different they can make it without deviating from the already established canon.
I think a Faceless champion would be new and exciting and would work just fine. Being the opposite of angels, they're very elusive in nature and tend to be secret agents, but I don't think that necessarily means that they never directly fight. We already know from the story that they've done plenty of fighting. Angels are often instructors and military commanders in the story, yet they're also a champion unit.
I don't see them as simply being a dark version of an angel. It's not like they were once angels that became fallen or something. They're a completely separate race.
