Poll Question:
Poll: What would you want from DLC?
Ubisoft has a DLC system set up for Heroes 6 which they are presumably going to use. Which would you prefer they focus on for their DLC?
I'm assuming with all options that they continue to make patches through January before working on a DLC.
While this poll is independent of whether the DLC should be free or not, don't vote if you aren't willing to pay ~5$ for a DLC.

Things like Maps, TS and a normal mape setting system should be added in patches, and do they dare to charge us for that

Things like that are almost never added in patches, patches just change the code of the game to have fewer bugs and better balance. They may make DLC free, depending on if they are willing to piss off the community to squeeze a little bit of extra money out. The people who are making the game wouldn't, but the people who are in charge of prices certainly would. Either way, that is not the question here. The question is "What content do you want?".

DLC are the root of all evil in a lot of modern games.
I'd rather take a proper expansion after they fix the current game.

I voted for a new faction - as with it, it will bring extra stuff too like creatures, campaigns, possibly bosses, new heroes, ... i really want to see Academy!!!

Obviously I want Academy back! 
I think the most urgent things are:
* Bringing back Academy, Sylvan and Dungeon.
* Balancing the game.
* Removing or heavily tuning down the entire healing aspect of the game.
* Create a whole new beautiful UI.
* Town screens.
* More racial diversity in the skill system and towns.
* Alternate upgrades. They were a huuuuuuuuge improvement and made H5 so much better.

In order:
1. Balancing.
2. Expansions (these would, of course, include the Dungeon and Academy factions, campaigns and artifacts, as expansions are supposed to do that...).
3. World hunger.
4. Town screens. *Rage*

I think they should do patches, add a DLC map pack with like 10 maps (5 true scenario, 5 tournament oriented) for like 3$, and then work on a two faction expansion pack.

They added 5 maps in the patch 1 whith is the only proper one we have sofar. So why would adding more be so much different if 5 maps are stil 33% of the game content in that area. Until there are atleast 30 maps in the base game, I do not se any justification why should they charge extra money.
(And most of them are remade maps from the campaign)
About TS making them a DLC would, in my eyes, the worst case scenario? Why? Well I am no programer bud from my logic. A TW is a big set of codes that have some impact in the game as a product. So adding a different version by adding a nother variable code would only double the number of variables that the programers would have keep in mind whyle making progres. TO make my self understand. I think it is more logical to remake the game generaly then making X versions of every new path/DLC etc. just because the game has so many different codes in different versions.
Pleas prove me wrong.
And btw. I chosed. "No DLC, begin work on expansion pack imediatly" because i think that what you wrote as options for DLC should be part of the patches. I think I payd more then enought for the product whith I recieved.

DLC is "Downloadable Content". The system is being used to other games as well.
Basically, instead of an expansion pack, you get to download stuff separately (albeit for a small price, usually around $5 USD )
I haven't played H6 yet (Christmas Tree present ^__^) but more factions defintely wouldn't hurt. Only FIVE of them??? Sheesh. O_O

its funny how they said that 5 factions were justified because all factions would be as differerent as in starcraft

Ok you missed half the point, the DLC may be free. DLC is literally, as said before, downloadable content. Patches FIX, DLC ADDS. The question is not are you willing to pay for more, but what do you want added. It can be free, there have been free DLCs for other games before.
Adding town screens as DLC might be a little awkward when they release more factions, but they could simply patch the town screen DLC to include town screens for the new factions. They could also release town screens for the current towns, and then also include them in the expansion pack, so that you can download town screens now, early, and when you get the expansion then it automatically adds them if you didn't have them from the DLC. It would not take any more variables than if they had built it into the game itself. If you doubled the variables every time you added something ToE would have 4 times H5 vanilla's variables, and the elder scrolls would be unplayable after like 5 mods.
And again I said don't vote if you aren't willing to pay for DLC, because I am trying asking WHAT people want, NOT are people willing to pay for DLC.
