Frederick ignored both outstreched hands, but gave them both a curt nod as acknowledgement. He turned to the new man on the team first and showed him his badge.
"Agent Dugalle, CFIB."
The he turned to agent Blackwood.

No elaboration, par usual. Leon thought to himself. "The reports will be done after we have come back from the prison where we hold the Gravedigger, and don't worry you'll have your copy. Of course the 'suspect,' though I think that we know enough to call him the perpetrator, is no longer allowed to communicate with the outside world. Briefing is in ten minutes. In the meantime, have a doughnut, some coffee and mingle. You... can mingle, can't you?" Fredrick hadn't been the most... social person when last they met.

"Oh, Lion, Horace and Greg? That goes for you as well."

James knocked on the door in a polite manner and came in. He was dressed in his casual attire. He wasn't used on coming to work not in his uniform and it made him a little uneasy.

He looked a round the room and introduced himself:

"Good Day, gentlemen, lady. My name is James Maddigan. I have a life-long experience as a street policeman and I have been assigned to join your team and help you stop the Gravedigger."

Lionel was thrown off for a moment by Fredrick's cold attitude, but recovered his composure quickly and moved to greet James instead. Extending his right hand, he said, "A pleasure, sir, always good to have another person on the team. My name is Lionel, Lionel Amos. How are you doing?"

James firmly shook Lionel's hand.

"It's a pleasure, Lionel. I'm doing fine, considering my age." James looked at the team before he added, "Don't worry, I survived on the street until now, so I'm in good enough shape to handle this case."

Gregory followed the talk closely, though himself being not too active. He smiled at the new man on the team and said to him "Hello. Welcome. I'm gregory." He gave no further introducion, though he smiled the little at the attitude of the man. When Agent Dugalle asked for tee, instead of coffee, he jumped in. "I would like a green tea instead of a coffee, as well, if it's no problem." Then he was quiet again, for the moment.

There was no pleasing these people. "Ah, John?" On of the interns stopped and turned to Leon, "Could you make us some tea, please? I assume that green will be good enough for your sophisticated pallets?" It wasn't really a question.

"Will that be all, sir?" John the intern ((There will be many Johns)) asked.

"Yes. Shoo." Leon would be mad before the week was out. Maybe a white padded room would be nice and cozy?

Lionel nodded politely and sat down, grabbing a glazed doughnut. His feet drummed on the floor, and he seemed nervous, twitchy. His eyes stared off, unfocused, glazed, as if he was remembering something.

"Hello? This is Lionel Amos speaking. What is it?"
"Your... wife, sir."
"What about my wife?" Lionel narrowed his eyes, another question forming on his lips.
"What happened? Is she all right?! Where are my daughters?!"
"I think you need to come over here, sir."
"What's going on?!" Lionel yelled into the phone, starting to run back the way he came.
"Just come home, sir. Just come on home."
The man hung up. Lionel snarled, and broke into a sprint.

"No, I mustn't remember that... I must stay focused..." Lionel muttered to himself, for a moment forgetting that there were other people here. Taking a huge bite out of the doughnut, he looked up, and after chewing through it, he asked, "So... does anyone gamble here? Play poker?"

Gregory smiled when Leon asked for tea. "Thank you." he replied politely. Then again it was silent for a while, except for Lionel muttering something, but Greg did not listen too closely. The nex tquestipon of the man made him smile again, yet. "Not really" he replied. "Allthough I did play poker rather often back on university. But not since...not for a long while." He made an inner remark to be careful not do direct the conversation into directions which could proove dangerous, and his deed and conviction would definitely be this kind of topic.

((No one else is going to post? OK...))

The intern comes back with your tea, and Leon brings everyone to the briefing room. Once everyone takes their seats, (with Leon standing at the head of the table), he asks the group, "I assume that you all know why you are here?" A slight pause, "Well, if you don't then here is the short and sweet of it, the Gravedigger case is still open, and we need to stop him again. No we did not catch the wrong guy, but he's still killing people from prison. We, as the people that stopped him the first time, are going to stop him again."

Drawing in a breath, Leon pushed his chair in and looked at his watch. "I am going to go interrogate the gravedigger in about one hour. I will see what he wants, and reject it. Then, we'll see what we can do... I need everyone ready to respond to anything, Gregory and Horace, you will be coming with me on the off-chance that he says something that one of you might be able to decipher. Frederick, you do whatever the hell you do and back us up however the hell you back us up, but do it from here for now, OK? Lionel, you and Rachel keep things running here. If you can, make find a source in the underworld that can help us. Frank, provide escort. Bobbie, James, what do you guys want to do?"

Bobbie thought it over for a few seconds and said, "Ah think that I can help Lion. Yah know, with findin' criminals and stuff."

Leon nods to them, "Alright you two, you know what to do better than I do. Lionel, go with Bobbie. I trust that James can handle himself, but if he needs any assistance then I'll get him a field agent." He picks up his personal report and walks to the door, "Fred, work with Rachel on trying to find a similarity between the victims until I get back. Everyone else, you all have your assignments. Let's get a move on."

The group separates and starts doing whatever they are going to do. ((I'll wait for the main story to progress for a day or two to give people time to respond.))

Frederick waited untill it was just him and agent Tice left in the room. He had been standing in the corner of the room, sipping the tea. Not a great fan of green tea, he had added more sugar than usual.
Frederick left the room and walked back to Tice' desk. Tice called at him, but he did not quite catch what she said. He picked up the casefiles of three of the victims and leafed through them.
Deter, Pears, Nash. One could not find three more random seeming victims if one tried.
Agent Tice came in to the room and was about to say something before Frederick cut her off.
"These victims are random, too random. Randomness does not fit his MO. He thinks He is better than that. There is a theme here, a reason. This is a game to Him, one to torture Blackwood and likely the rest of the team. Doubtless He is dangling something in front of us we do not yet see. And if we want to see it, we need all the reports. Where are they? And if they are not yet here, I have a plan B, but that will take a lot more time. For the sake of argument, we need to assume that He has not hired incompotent minions. He's not that sloppy and if he is, which I doubt, we're in luck because they are bound to screw up."
Frederick saw that Tice was looking particularly frustrated at him.
"Brainstorming out loud, feel free to cut in, Agent Tice."

"The rest of the reports will come to us while they are still warm, we have been having troubles with the printer lately." Rachel picked up her copy of the reports and looked them over, "And yes, they are random, but that fits the theory of having multiple accomplices, which we have been considering for a while now. Feel free to think out loud, I have grown used to it. We have worked together before."

"No, they cannot be random. They never were. If He is behind it all, which we are assuming, there is a theme there we aren't seeing yet. If they are random that would mean that He simply gives his henchmen orders to kill. That doesn't suit him or it would imply that he is not in complete controll, or that he is not behind it to begin with."
Frederick took a sip from his tea.
"Remember the Fort Wayne killings? Seven people strung up from a ladder suspended in a hangar. It was not untill after we locked Him up that I realised the connection between the victims. Recall their jobs and the order in which they were hung. Intern, Receptionist, Clerk, Accountant, Project Manager, HR-Manager, CEO. It was a metaphor for the corporate ladder, starting with the top and going down to the bottom."
Someone handed in three more reports, Frederick grabbed them before Tice could. He leafed through them.
"That gives us a junior highschooler, two astrophysicists, a mechanic, an mechanic's kid and a doctor. Not seeing a connection in the job-departement yet. Damn, do we have a crime-scene report yet?"

Grabbing another doughnut and taking a bite out of it, Lionel walked up to Bobbie and said, "Pleasure to meet you, I guess. Which place do you want to hit up first? I was thinking Alpha, I'm pretty sure that they're connected with the Gravedigger. At least, they were."

Grinning, Lionel replied, "Thanks man," before taking another bite out of the doughnut and walking out. As he went out, he said over his shoulder, "You have any experience with these guys before? I remember we stayed clear of them for the most part, had a few rather painful run-ins though. Nasty lot. Tough, mean, but not any dummer because of it. Wouldn't really like to be against 'em. But, at least they're negotiable. I've known gangs where you wold get shot for walking up to them without their permission. Last I remember, these guys are nothing like that."

"They are very well, er, organized. That's why they are so big. Bens, the big head-hancho, is the reason why they got so big." Bobbie opened the door to the car's passenger seat (yes, you are in the garage already). "He likes to run it like a business, and likes talking to the feds before shooting them. The Sets though, they nasty pieces of work. Put more cops in their graves than the GD. Really don't hope we have to talk to them."
