No, it isn't knowledge till you've tasted it, it is 'faith' and 'belief' to think that what you've been taught is true, it doesn't become true till you've proven it yourself.

So generally, if two 12-year-olds have sex - no problem, if done responsibly, as strange as this may sound.

(It's interesting to note that in most countries aoc is different for homosexual and heterosexual activities.)

I'm sorry JJ I really have to disagree here.  I'm afraid that if two 12 year olds have sex, there is a problem.  Even if both consent, being too young and having sex can be damaging both emotionally, mentally and even physically.  Having sex is, regardless of what some people like to describe it, highly emotional which is why adults marry/partner up and value fidelity etc.  Its emotional, especially for women .. and having sex, very young (even with someone the same age) can often be a highly awkward and often confusing thing.  That emotional maturity is simply not there, which is why promiscuity is rife in younger generations.  We really do not need to condone or encourage this.

But also if two 12 year olds are having sex, not only this is far too young, but pregnancy is possible ... not to mention what the hell is going on in their minds (what they have been subject to/experienced) to do it in the first place.

I have to disagree but only partially.
Kids are changing & they are learning about this at the age of ten.

There are many kids those ages doing that now & it is sick to me as well.
All in all they do it, they dont get as effected as people think & our govt is teaching these young kids about all this.
Back then we never thought of it & now that they teach us sex ed, they get curious.

When boys & girls hit puberty, then it is over.

Yea i dont agree with it, but it is how these times of age is now & it sucks.

I also disagree with this 100%. That is just my opinion.
The law is what counts.

I'm afraid that is no answer.

For children, having sex when too young physically is highly damaging.  This is not something to be taken lightly.

If you had a daughter, who you found out was having sex at 12 and was pregnant, I can assure you, you would not be happy.

Just so you may learn things you have no experience with and won't ever get neither.

I repeat - you cannot rape each other. Rape means ONE rapes ANOTHER. So, if both are 12 you cannot prosecute them both for rape.

More so, note that it is considered rape because someone below the age of consent is not considered mature enough to make responsible decisions about sex. If that is true for BOTH - whom would you want to punish and for what?

Which means, in practise making sex illegal between two underaged persons is a contradiction in itself.
Because that is so, TOLERaTING (knowingly) sex between two twelve-year-olds is a lot more dangerous in terms of consequences than having the sex.
So if your 12-year-old daughter is saying, "Mum, 12-year-old Jack and I want to make a check on our reproduction organs, would you advise that we use protective equipment?", a stuttering "Y-yes" may lead to you charged with all kinds of bad stuff.

Believe me I am agreeing with ya that it is sick. I am just saying that I wish there was something we could do. We can not be with them 24/7.

I will soon have daughters & I had my past life with girls to take care of as well.
I wont like it then & i dont like it now.

I just wish kids did not have to learn.
It should be illegal.

I would do what i can to make my daughters understand. All I can do. I cant kick the boys butt!

Meroe, I think you are wrong.
If you are physically able to do something you are also mature to do it.
The problem is, you are not EDUCATED FOR IT in our society, that is, education isn't preparing adolescents to be actually a grown-up.

extermination

Do you know the meaning of this word? Holy ****!

Yes. I am fully aware of the meaning of this very word. And as such I know that extermination is not equal with genocide. Extermination is restricted to a territory, rass, country, etc... And within these 'restricted' borders it means the systematic destruction of every life considered as goal of the extermination.

Want to know more? Enough?
Please, next time do not question my knowledge about such humanic terms like 'extermination'.
And even though it may be terrifying for you and emotionally shocking but when you thinking about anything you must be logical. Emotions are secondary after pure logic as emotions are instincts and a sane creature try to act logically as instinct often cause a quick end of everything...

Yea Jolly but kids dont know better like ya said. What if they get pregnant? Then yea that can change a whole families life.
Kids should never do it & it should be illegal.

Kids can not even support themselves or think for themselves yet.

Jollyjoker believe me when you do sexual acts at an early age whether consensual or not it does leave mental scars which has an impact on your life later on. I want my child to stay innocent for as long as possible and if that seems wrong then so be it.

A "grownup person" is nothing more than somebody who is not one inch wiser than a 6 year old, but it is expected to behave "mature" so that person does indeed do so.
Now.... if 10 year olds have sex, it is at our best wish that they at the least use condoms to avoid minor problems.

I am telling you, you are wrong.

Girls are physically able to have sex (according to some biology evidence somewhere) from 8 or 9 in some cases.  But there is no way they are emotionally ready.  So no, that is certainly not true.

Well Diablo, I guess it just means THE TALK comes alot earlier since the schools are teaching young kids about sex ed.

Yea if that case does happen, i would hope there will be all protections. I dont like it. It should be illegal & after talking to Selcy. I am convinced that it would leave scars.

It's not right.

Thde bold print is what you want to avoid with a responssible sex education. I have a daughter, and she is older than 12, and I can assure I would not have been unhappy if she had had sex with 12 (albeit I would have been very unhappy if she would have become pregnant.). She preferred not to have sex (not to mention getting pregnant), though, even though she could have - and note, that the law in Germany is way better than in Britain here. However, she didn't feel mature enough to have sex at that age, so she didn't have sex.
It may have played a role that she had certain standards with regard to her "first time", but STILL that's part of the deal - if you do not invest anything in sexual (that is actually DEVELOPMENT) education - where is the maturity suposed to come from?

In plain words: the bigger the difference is between the legal "age of consent" and the average age of physical maturity, the more the actual education to become a responsible grown-up lacks. Pregnancy is the consequence of ignorance, not immorality.

Children under the age of 16 must be restricted to have sex. They are not ready for it mentally and emotionally. Just make a lots of troubles what others must solve...
Not to mention the unwanted pregnancies. I don't understand that! When they were 13 they were educated about the sexuality and thought to use f***ed condoms for the sake of the long dead gods! Why don't they use then?
Little b@st@rds they are... They must be forced to raise their children not to left it for the girls to do it alone!

Wow what a great father lol.
Here a father is supposed to protect their kids, daughters especially & teach them right from wrong & you ok sex at that age?
That pretty sick dude.

Too many emotional scars for issues like that.

Yes daughters should be more protected, which is why they get stricter rules.
Boys dont get pregnant, but girls do. Boys can easily walk away.
