I always disliked the idea that Kingpin were incredibly strong. Despite just having a lot of muscle fibers, he could crush opponents he should stand no chance against.

Which is why I really enjoyed when he ran away from opponents stronger than him, such as machine-smythe and morbious. Which reminded me, I forgot to mention the green goblin and the yellow devil. I liked the yellow devil in the way he was an ordinary guy, but he was never as clever as he thought he was. He always tried to use force to get his way, which is no better than say, what any villain did.

On the other hand, when the green goblin owned the yellow devil, it was super cool! The green goblin is probably also of incredibly strength, though I don't recall seeing him fighting anything else than the ordinary yellow devil, sadly.

About the lizard, I think he's strong too, but I don't think he's up there. As I see it, he's more on par with that rhino guy, etc. Then there's spider-mans mutated form, which I never really figured out how strong was compared to the villains.

They couldn't have Spidey throw a punch in the 90's show but it was still good fun. In the spectacular spider-man they have good action scenes but they're weird looking...

Cool scene. I honestly dislike any other incarnation than the one I grew up with. I think it's the one from 1994. I did however like that electro wasn't semi-god like in what I saw.

Stuff I didn't like, was that the vulture was part of the gang for nothing else than he was so cool in the 1994 show, seeking eternal youth. A much stronger topic than just another fighter.

What I really didn't like was that this black spiderman could barely lift the rhino guy. In the 94 incarnation, black spiderman, i.e. with his venom-suit, he could lift that Rhino guy, by lifting at the horn! And all the way up! That's some huuuge Torque right there! Compared to the spider man in the clip I saw, who could barely lift the rhino guy when there was no Torque (he lifted from the center of mass), which is like 50 times lighter. Also, doctor octopussy seems like an "idiot", he thinks he can just lift spiderman at the head and walk away with him, when his functional and dangerous parts are all over his body in that costume and even without it, he's a web slinger for crying out loud!

Not to mention that the Sandman shouldn't have problems with lifting Rhino off of Electro, seeing he's made out of sand.

So no scorpion in that scene huh?

I don't dislike the 1994 show. I dislike every other incarnation than that one.

Did you read the comics, btw.? I ever only read one comic, it's kinda embarrasing, because it was at a former friends house and first of all, the two ladies in the magazine looked incredibly sexy. Secondly, I was 13 and horny at that time. Which would have made you 7 and horny I suppose. Anyway, I got an erection from the scene where it to some extend looked like Venom raped Black Cat. Not that it was what happened, but it looked close enough for me to guess it could have happened. With the way it was described in my language, etc.

Anyway, my friend was like, right next to me, so I had to freaking hide the lower parts of my body somehow. Anyway, it was easy, I just positioned myself in a way on the couth so I faced him sideways and then I raised my right knee too hide my scrotum. I think it worked.

He later on gave me that comic and it's the only spider man comic I've read, but it's awesome because it was sexy, with Mary Jane and her short skirt and stockings and big boobs and Black Cat trying to seduce spiderman and ended up getting beaten (and I thought raped) by Venom, and on the same time it was dangerous in a very eye-opening way.

I only read one comic I got from a friend years ago, I think it was amazing spider-man #50

Raimi's films were stupid and Maguire was lame. Andrew Garfield and Marc Webb (nice name, huh) have my blessing.

In one word - Venom.

Spiderman tas (1994) was the only spiderman show that was worth anything.

Any additional discussion on the matter opposing my opinion will cost you QP's, you have been warned

YEAH BABY!! PREACH IT!!! Preach it to the choir! Work your MAGICXS!

Venom was awesome. Though I like how they made him a deeper character by actually not only fighting the symbiote addiction, an addiction beyond anything anyone have ever experienced, also beyond what spider man, a beyond human man, experienced, as Brock had the symbiote for a longer time, to the degree where it's on the limit where a seperation would mean death without hope of ever getting better, and he was merely human, a human with a bad perception as well, easy to manipulate.

The power of love triumphs over all! And Brock did not only fight! He won! And then he sacrificed everything for the love he knew he'd never get because of said sacrifice before he made the sacrifice! To me, Eddie Brock is the JollyJoker of spiderman 1994 TAS.

Agreed, Venom is like the tragic mix of an antihero and a villain, a classic character and that's without even going into his awesome looks and his vicious skills...
Even though Eddie Brock was always made to be an annoying character, you have to love the whole Venom saga

They later went on and made a Venom comics... but it wasnt really all that good.. a shame

They made a venom cartoon? I didn't know that! I couldn't get my pants down right now, even if I tried! Tell me more!!

Yeah venom is awesome, he introduced a whole new level of threat to spider man, by knowing his secret identity as the first villain. Suddenly it was now his loved ones who were in peril! And venom really went far to make spider man suffer by this.

Pure luck that Carnage never found out!! He'd have been way less subtle than Venom!

And yes, Venom was probably one of the strongest, if not the strongest non godlike opponent ever faced. I mean he hindered a godlike's plan by pure strength! Though on the same time he set the works in motion which would be the final saga of the series where the strongest godlike being gets introduced and where spider man has to safe the entire reality from the most powerful, evil and genius opponent yet!

Eddie brock was indeed someone who really "deserved" a punishment. It's tragic to think, that Spider Man placed him in a position where he could not flee the symbiote which I'm certain the coward would have done had he had the chance. In a way it was one of the most gruesome scenes, though I find the scene where Morbious hunts down the uni student rather gruesome as well.
I don't know if I'd still have laughed about Brock getting back what he "deserved" for all his bad intentions regarding spider man. I hope not, in the end, all he really wanted was sucecss, and in his egoism he didn't realise that success on the despense of someone else is a sure way to make enemies who'll eliminate you.

No man, sorry, there was no venom cartoon, there was a comic run, like those spiderman comics (well the one you've read)

I was kind of always hoping Venom will become a hero and actually fight alongside spiderman, they did so a few times actually.
Of all the bad guys in spiderman, Venom always kicked spideys ass

Eventually Scorpion became Venom instead of Eddie BTW

Please link me to the venom cartoon where scorpion becomes venom scorpion now please! Scorpion is like my favorite creature, though the character portraying this arachnid was a huge dissapointment. With the powers of venom added to the medicore powers of scorpion he'd be more powerful than even spidercarnage. Not as bright, but more powerful in brutal strength. I want to see that more than I want to see you go smitherines on the power of EXCALIBUR!!

It turns out Smithey tried to lure me! Me, the most innocent humble gentle pirate ever! So he claimed to be he'd give me this awesome anime and what do I get? A pornographic comic with Smithey posing as every character, female and male!! Now I'm in his power and must adhere his commandments.
