Man i dont believe you. Because u are completely wrong.

Try the following : get 7 differnt stacks from 7 different towns and then give ur hero the spirit of opression...then  start a fights and then come back and write again that negative morale can't appear with spirit of opression .

Spirit of opession sets Morale lvl to maximum 0

That means leadership, artifacts or the bonuses u get when all creatures are from same town - they don't count.

but things/effetcs that lower the morale are still working .

if troops are of the same town - morale is +1. Ghost dragons will reduce this to 0. In this case spirit of oprresion doesnt matter - inferno troops will have 0 morale with or without it.

Motor, I dont know what type of 1.4 you have, but in my 1.4 version creatures of the same type + ghosts = 0 morale (with or without the spirit).

oh yea, and the spirit negates only the positive morale, it doesnt affect a negative morale - the perfect necro artie

man that wrong.

sure if all from same town morale is +1 but only if NO spirit of opression is active.

if he is active morale is 0 in this case. and ghost drags reduce the morale to -1.

And thats why the spirit is a cool necro art because the opponent has ALLWAYS morale -1 or lower. (if Drags on battlefield).

Iīm not so sure anymore about the spirit of oppression.. I might even go with thunder on this one..  I tested it with 1 side wearing the spirit and 1 ghost dragon, the other side had 1 archdevil. No other troops, no leadership, no morale arts. The devil had normal morale.

I just donīt know what to believe anymore, but I propose that if the inferno side doesnīt set up their troops soon, that the necro players can do it for them

Darn lazy inferno trash..

Motor, you are wrong man. You assume that the spirit negates positive morale first, and then ghosts drop it to -1. Its the other way around - ghosts reduce the morale to 0, so the spirit has no efect. Test it yourself man

I've made a map to make the first screen on. Inferno players can IM me their ideas on Tactics deployment.

I hate Tactics deployment myself. There are a few things to consider:

Power Liches shoot before Magaogs and they anyway outshoot Magogs.

Because of Liches Death Cloud, we should avoid placing units adjacent to each other.

We have to plan for possibility that Necro side has Expert Haste. (Don't give those 550 Skeletons a target in the first round if we can avoid it.)

My two fav towns... I'll be necro just to add some players to it. This battle should be interesting to see with INferno having tactics, how they deploy initially gives alot of insight into possible spells they have...

60 Demons and the 57 Cerbei are key units for Infero, skellies are the main one of concern for Necro, though it appears Necro has a lil spell disadvantage just from the familars and less spell power, only 1, but in resurrecti0n or animate dead makes some difference over time.

Ok.. So this is the Tactics deployment.

To the others: I had to make a new pic because the earlier one lacked the First Aid Tent. I took the chance to move two units one step from the last deployment. (Mainly to reduce the possibilities for the opponet to cast area spells. I don't think the new positions will give too much negative impact. At least not as far as I can ses.)

Inferno first move

Also first spell... let's see what it is or if they wait, waiting usually means a slow or haste, or some spell which has an readily available counter which negates it and does more damage than your own side gained- but, not always. lol

Course if they have res, they might just wait until AD go then haste then res from then on. Depends if they have expert earth or air or fire...

Fire seems likely given they are Inferno, and I would guess air rather than earth as that was just done and a rez war might get boring.

We'll see from their strategy what spells they have- the more they wait the more likely they have rez otherwise they'd need to kill off some Necro units really fast. Intitial deployment is sort of neutral, with a haste spell all units(excepting PL) could still reach Necro, and it they wait they are a little protected from the worst damage a Necro mass haste would do. Probably waiting to try and force Necro to cast first my best guess.

Necro we shold beware CL, Inferno- and a last ditch armegeddon- plus the normal level 1-3 spells.

Andi overall I think Tactics is of little use for Inferno in this case. Any unit placed so that Skeletons can reach them with expert Haste is likely a dead stack.

Indeed, it's almost so that units could all be deployed on the first line and then move forward the unit on the middle hex one step to negate the Liches Death cloud effects. Oh yes, and move away units from the First Aid tent too so it doesn't become a liability.

Edited to add the first move:

I believe it's prudent to wait with the spell at least a little while.
