I don't know if this bug was present in previous versions (before 1.5.1), but I can't never see enemy hero stats when attacking a castle with a hero defending it.  I try to right-click everywhere on or around the hero but nothing happens.  Outside a castle, it seems to work fine (some stats appear when right-clicking on enemy hero).

Another minor bug which persists since always. I don't think they care too much about this bug hehe, but here we go:

all those magic dynasty weapons with the "element afinity" (first bonus) aren't giving this bonus properly:

will of urgash - "fire power" isn't giving the +5 to fire magic, just the -10% redution to fire spells.
thunder staff - "air affinity" - same (+5 to air)
staff of tides - "water affinity" - same (+5 to water)
soulreaver staff - "magic" - same (+5 to dark)
heartrending song - "light magic" - same (+5 to light)

I don't have batu's totem, neither staff of sar-aggreth, but I bet these 2 have the same bug.

Some more reports.



After the 1.5.1 patch, sound effects for building town structures occur at the wrong time on the new city screens. You get the hammering build sound when switching from one town to the next via the left/right town arrows if one town has structures in it that weren't built in the previously viewed town. Also, if you viewed a town that had many structures and then switched to an underdeveloped one and built something that was already there in the previously viewed town, you don't hear the hammering sound when the new building is created.


Necropolis - Fallen soldiers are only available for ressurection in the town for 1 day instead of the usual 3 days.

With the newest patch I have a lot of random crashes. Its not that I get kicked out the game with an errormessage, the screen is just freezing. Music/Sound is on, but I cannot klick on anything the screen is always the same. E8400, GTX 560 ti (driver 304.79)

After buying heroes for my dynasty, I've become unable to create custom heroes.

Uplay's save system is totally bugged to the state that the game is unplayable. The saves reappear and disappear randomly.

Edit: Each time I start the game I must restart it at least once. Only then my saves return to normal. Not to mention that I have to wait a couple of minutes for the synchronization

still unable to flee from battles with my main hero. neither me, nor the enemy has any artifacts that negates fleeing.

- Sisters Pacify ability sometimes does not work (or it's based on the units stack size - should be an info about it)

- a couple of dynasty traits don't work, like Fanatic or the one which makes buildings cheaper by 1 crystal

- each time I start H6 the three achievements for winning consecutive battles reset... it's a well known bug, but for me it stared somewhere between patch 1.4-1.5...

- glitch? Inferno summoned gates retaliate with small damage when attacked and "turn around" to face enemy (it's probably connected with Infernos Might Hero racial ability). Also when a unit destroys the gate and the hero has the Cleave ability the unit get's another move

- don't know how it works but when I fight Inferno vs. Inferno controlled by computer, and although my Luck ratio is greater then my enemies (like 40 vs 19), AI units seems to get more critical hits. Traditional HoMM AI cheating?

Pacify works the same way as Lilim's ability - except that the Sisters's is a passive one. It will trigger if stack power ratio attacker versus attacked is big enough. Note that due to their lesser power rating Sisters have a weaker pacification ability than Vestals (which means that 10 Vestals can pacify a bigger stack than 10 Sisters).

Like I said, I've assumed this much, but still there should be at least some info in the abilities description...

By the way, balancing made this unit something completely different. Now it's my main attacker. Before, Sisters were supporters that were mostly used by me as healers. I practically didn't use them for attack, because of their low health. Now, although they loose HP very fast, their attack power is something to be reckoned with...

Then you used to play them wrong. They were even stronger then now. Of corce only the upgreaded ones. Combined with the Heaven racel the Sisters and Vestals are the most dangerous core unit in the game. (Personal opinion)

tear of asha doesn't show up when i collect the four peaces of the Shantiri moondisc. however, it apeared in a hotseat game on the map without anyone collecting any discpieces though

I didn't use them wrong. I was using them as healers (I'm the "heal all units - reduce the casualties to the minimum" type gamer). Why would I send a healer unit with low HP into the fray just to make my enemies attack them furiously, when I can keep them at back healing my units. If things went bad only then I would send them to support other units and on a weakened enemy. Usually I would let my other units tank some damage, and then heal them. Now it's only possible with Vestals...

Encountered following bugs:
1. I was playing sanctuary campaign, first scenario, and I built basic fortifications (wall), and then instead of wall, giant ellipse with X in it appeared (). After that various UI elements started appearing: news, main menu, load game screen but nothing responded so I had to force-quit game.

2. When I'm launching game, screen just turns black and game is not running. I can start game after several attempts, though.

3. It seems that my cursor is acting a bit strange since the patch. For example, when I move it from left to right, instead of moving smoothly right, it sometimes moves left, but almost instantly returns to where it should be. This is not a big problem, but it can be annoying, especially during combats.

now i have about six or so discs (discs, not pieces) and still no tear.
happened in the final mission (blood) as well except i got the final piece after deafeting a hero there.

The new patch has completely broken the game. Now it just says:

"The System Cannot Open the Specified File" and kicks me out. Then it tells me I was "playing" for 32 seconds. I thought Heroes VI was a coaster before, but with the new patches it is literally a coaster.

I had a strange thing happening which I think is a bug. Used gatling in front of a monster (2x2) and then was about to throw the succubus ranged attack when there was a yellow cross over the square just in front of the monster. It was from corner to corner if I remember correctly.

Means that the unit behind the gate was protected from ranged attacks, gates are considered as obstacles.

I hope that the devs will finally do something about the most irritating bug for me, that was in game from the beginning: unit order mixing in town an hero exchange windows. Each time I enter the town to buy units, their order is mixed. I know it's not a big deal but hey this is like the blinking cursor issue for me. I don't want to switch unit order each time...

The same goes for "buy all units" button. The units order is mirrored: from the strongest to the weakest tiers when looking from left...

@Dave_Jame Thanks for that info, I don't have facebook, so I don't check it Anyway, I tried what they suggested for black screen and it is still the same. I remember that during the beta test I had similar, but worse, problem: game wouldn't run at all. Despite this bugs, I think 1.5 is a big step forward.
