Danse Macabre
Hello folks, remember me?
I was considering buying this new adventure pack Danse Macabre, but I could not find any responses on the campaign (aside from some bug reports on the official forums) so I wanted to know if it's any good?
At fist I was really against buying these so-called DLC's and I did not buy the first one, but this one seemed interesting.
So I hope to get some responses.

hey, i was in the same boat but couldn't resist and bought it!
I have just completed first map and it is actually much better then first DLC. there some nifty design features on the first map, from new well-lit combat maps, to some nice architecture throughout the map, nice effects and actually fun strategy. new building made me happy as well, even though there are no new creatures in the DLC i did have some nice and useful creatures on my army i never had
Story is very fine and actually makes a lot of sense. Quests are not so straight forward and actually require some strategy and thinking.
Familiar is very helpful in deciding which way to go

Thank you for replying, I'll probably buy it one of these days.  The price is a bit high but if it offers some good maps like you described I'll be satisfied. Thank you.

I hoped that would be the case, Marzhin's level design keeps improving over time. Will probably not get it for a while yet so be careful with any spoilers.

I actually read more negative experience with this DLC on Heroes-Centrum.
Also, If you want to save a € or two Look ar Playman.cz They have the price around 8€

It was a nice DLC so if you like the game, buy the DLC. It was funny how Sandro is supposed to be a magic hero but in my campaign he became a might hero by default. He is a magic hero outside the campaign though and I had wanted to play as a might necro hero for a while. Kind of sucked though that in the second map you have to fight Necropolis only weakness... Necropolis.

No complex analises ot rewievs yet, only some people saying they liked the first DLC more or that H6 M was a bit to easy. I cant judge, I'm on the same boat as Elvin.

2 in campaign  + WoX anniversary map
They are however a little better desinged then in Pirates.
And of course with new DLC you get new bugs for free!

You can recruit non-elemental neutral creatures in it. Right now only Timber wolf, Dire wolf and Mermaid.

It's a two map capaign for 10€, If I were you I would wait until it drops a bit (they offered discounts with PotSS)

Just started ther Danse Macabre campaign and there is an error with the fort right in the beginning.....got patch 1.7.1 so not sure what this problem is...anyone else experience this?
Also, is Sandro a might hero? His speciality increases prime magic by 10% but he affinity is might....wtf?

I can not remember any bugs so far except the might hero part. His nethermancer speciality is pretty much useless for a might hero but it is ok because he is a magic hero outside the campaign(skirmish and stuff).

I bought it already, but I have yet to see when I have the time to start playing it seriously.
There is a workaround for the "Sandro being a might hero" bug, just change him to a might hero in the campaign screen and then change him back, this will reset all your progress in the DLC campaign though... I did not encounter any errors so far, so I can't help you with that one.

Well am playing Sandro as a might hero and it's okay so going to stick with it, going blood too...
My issue is not just the fort screens that are freezing up but, every now and then, freezing in gameplay too. Don't want to bug this thread (excuse the pun!) with my problems but since patch 1.7.1 or danse macabre campaign this is happening and never before.....not sure if it's got something to do with my graphics card (Gefore GTX 250) which people are mentioning earlier in this thread as a potential cause....

What's that WoX anniversary map? It is that supposed "Heroes 6 Gold exclusive succession wars" map?
