As far as I know and as I can see Black Dragons will be absolutely worth it. They will not cost more resources (all tiers cost the same in the game).
Also - no new neutrals, but that's old news. I'd be satisfied, if the old (vanilla) maps would contain random dungeon creatures.

Yes, I think that the Dungeon is currently OP, but it's fun as well, that's why it will be difficult to balance.

Are you sure you're not just loving the novelty of the new faction?Everyone thought Orcs were way OP in Heroes V too...but soon realised that they can be dealt with as well....

If they are really that powerful, I would like to see that reflected in higher prices, like in the past games.  Otherwise we're just going to hear (as if we won't anyways) "nerf Dungeon!"

I have seen one neutral so far, will be disappointed if it's the only one. Very much enjoying the music, remixes and new tracks.

That's not good. Maybe they have some nice abilities, but "worth it" doesn't exactly mean that they are more powerful then other Champions I guess. If they really were that more powerful they should at least cost two times more then other Champions. Like in Heroes IV.

Sorry I don't quite understand this part. No new neutrals, and that's old news (if so I haven't heard about this, is it in Q&A or an interview somewhere), or this was old news and there will be more then 1-2 neutrals?

A neutral? Really?

Anyway, not so simple to balance this. Nothing like too much this or that, they just blitz the hell out of everything.

JJ pls:
" And there will be also new adventure map buildings, such as the Dragon Utopia or the Memory Mentor, along with a couple of new neutral creatures and bosses."

I hope that they are two neutrals (and two bosses) and not one and one..

In Heroes VI I think they are trying to balance everything (not that they did a good job) but everything is generic now, cores roughly equal, elites and champions.....costs, etc.

It's a shame too.  I liked H2's approach.  Knights and Barbarians and lowered-end units but they were cheap and could do a lot of damage in the early game.  Contrast that with Wizards and Warlocks who had high damage, high cost units who were great in the end game.

I much preferred H1-5 where factions where either might or magic...but still loving H6 (creature abilities, spells are cool)

What I liked about Heroes III is that in each faction some units were below average in terms of power (and usefulness) for their level (like Imps and Pikeman for instance, same level, one was cannon fodder and the other quite a capable defensive unit), while others were one of the best in their tier (and all in the same faction). What I mean is that each town had some great units and some bad units, but overall it was well balanced (not perfect of course, it had it's flaws). Imo Heroes III was the best balanced game in the franchise. In Heroes VI I'm getting this "each faction is similar only with different abilities" feeling. Well they have different play styles of course, and different abilities, but something is not right here. The reason why other faction is stronger then the other does not lie in each unit individual pros and cons, but in the handicap their faction is given (like Necromancy for instance). It's best seen when mixing troops from various factions. They just don't connect in any way...

Some of you will probably disagree, especially that there was some really good work done by insiders to make things right, but I think that stuff like racials and some other things blew it from the beginning...

Elvin,  could you give us a hint what faction does this neutral belong to? If you can ofcourse.. I think there are going two be two bosses, one for each campaign and two neutrals..

Also, Elvin and JJ, since I love puppetworks animations in heroes 6, could you tell us please whether dungeon animations(whoever did them) are on par with original game? Just yes or no would be great!

If it's a neutral, doesn't that mean it doesn't belong to any faction?

I Still hope there will be more Bosses and neutrals, there is never enought neutrals.
They have been so overlooked in Heroes VI:-(

I decided to add my own twist to the faceless description
Quote:
The Faceless are the children of the Malassa.
They are masters of infiltration, spying, and stealth,
because when you think of stealth, you think 'purple glowing butterflies'.
The Faceless are the most mysterious and unknown of all the followers of the Dragon Gods,
what with them being original Ubisoft property (do not steal).
What little can be said of them is that they are clothed in shadow and mystery...and purple.
If they are perceived at all it is a fleeting image from the corner of the eye (not a glitch), an odd moment of déjà vu (you may have seen something similar at a concert or in a 80's horror flick),
a strange sense that one is being watched...Well, that you probably are.
The Faceless move in the shadows. They enter one shadow and leave from another, in case you needed to have it spelled out.
The Faceless don't need to speak, they can communicate by telepathy (from mind to mind for the uninitiated).
It also really helps that everyone speak the same language.
They are poorly trusted by their allies and greatly feared by their enemies.
They need to work on their public relations a bit.

The Faceless Puppeteers own their uttery ridiculous name to their dreadful ability to penetrate one's mind and take control of the victim's body.
This is a so-called 'possession' and it's very mysterious (and purple).
The Puppeteer's will imposes itself into its host and bends it to its new master's every whims...
Did we mention that they totally have an ability that lets them control other units?!?!?!

Just one question: Is it a new model or re-used one? If re-used is it look different then original (like Dragonwraith and Cate or Faceless and Darkness Elemental) or they look nearly the same (Water and Light Elementals in Haven and Sanctuary)?

Amateurs. They don't know how to properly operate in shadows.

I also want to know that, I fear it will be a re-used one, but still...
