Strange things you eat or drink
I thought it would be interesting to hear from people what they eat or drink that other people might find strange or outright dusgusting.
As the thread maker I will start with my thing...
I mix Coca Cola with milk...
It looks like mud water and the foam does not make it look better. But it tastes like rainbow... 
My family has made it their principle to refuse testing it, just to annoy me even though I am begging them to try it for their own sakes. I know there are people in the world doing the same thing but I discovered this rainbow drink entirently thanks to my own curiousity and love for milk.
I hope some of you guys are willing to share your weird eating and drinking habits.

I used to have as brackfast sobaos + bread, a deadly combination with an unique taste of sugar....so delicious.
I don't regulary do it now because it's soooo heavy on calories...

You should totally try Coca Cola with milk and then report if it is the same.
I once tried Sprite with milk but the two liquids did not mix and I ended up with disgusting greyliquid and tasteless milk foam. Coca Cola and milk mixes perfectly though.

The simple fact that I greatly enjoy sardines seems to put me in the "strange" category for many people.
Also, I prefer mayonnaise on my fries, which seems to attract attention.

Not in the Netherlands and Belgium it wouldn't. But then again, most Belgians and Dutch would call most foreign versions an insult to the name mayonaise. Edit: nor would it be that strange in Germany.
Speaking of which, I also like to dip them, fries that is, in a 2:1 mixture of applesauce and mayo.

I dont know what type of Cola you get where you live, but Balkan Coca cola has acid in it.
When it gets mixed with milk, it produces a reaction. Dunno what type of mix we have but acids and bases(Milk) do produce a reaction.
I would not want to try that type of reaction in my stomach.
I did try it once. I felt like a walking erlenmeyer flask and than I had to stay in the WC for next hour.
Also, as a child I used to eat tooth paste. Yummy! I did it secretly.
Some time ago I found out I could have died if I continued eating tooth paste.

First, fresh milk is slightly acidic, not basic. (Source) Even if it WERE alkaline, acid-base reactions produce water and salt - not some mysterious poison. (And besides which, your stomach contents are acidic so you'd get this reaction with the supposedly alkaline milk whether you consume it with soda or not.) Adding soda to milk often looks like it is undergoing chemical reaction because lots of big bubbles form, but that's only because all the proteins in milk serve to stabilize bubble formation from the carbonation in the soda. You can achieve the same effect by blowing air into milk with a straw.

Swallowing too much toothpaste could be harmful because of the fluoride content, but you'd have to swallow a whole lot of it. (Excess fluorine can disrupt calcium balance by binding to free calcium in the blood, which can lead to cardiac abnormalities.) Children are more susceptible to fluoride poisoning. This is why as a general rule you shouldn't brush a child's teeth with adult toothpaste - they're much more likely to swallow a toxic dose.
