Shades of Darkness delayed until May the 2nd
Edit: Officially confirmed by Ubisoft, Shades of Darkness and Complete edition have been delayed to 2 of May.
According to the source, it seems that Shades of Darkness will be pushed away two months, until a not yet known date on May.
It seems that people who preordered SoD (online I think, google translate doesn't make all clear) recevied a message from the staff, whose been informed by Ubisoft Poland about a delay of the game to May.
We still don't have any official confirmation nor disprove of this rumor, so don't take all for granted.

If JJ is anything to go by it seems like the game had serious balancing issues. Well, I'll be occupied with Heart of the Swarm untill may anyway.

I checked three Polish retailers and it's the same: approximate release date changed to May 2013 
I feel bad, but then again it solves one of my problems. Now I will have time to play my PS3 (at long last) Skyrim DLC's!

Balance seems fine actually, things were not half as bad as we feared. I'm afraid I cannot comment on the rumour, that's up to ubi to clarify.

I hope its not true... Only reason I would be satisfied with is the addition of Afademy/Sylvan, but the probability of this is zero.

I don't think they'd delay the game to start a Public Beta, specially since they said they didn't want to make a public test before release...

And what would they need a public beta? I believe a couple of testers plus insiders is enough to test only one added faction.
A possibility of another faction would be nice. Sylvan comes to mind, because of the story trailer and the Dungeon campaign but I seriously doubt that...
I wonder what is the real reason, if the rumor is true. I mean they had all those unit reveal sh*t going, and even if there are balance issues, why do they need around 3 months to fix them? It's really weird...

The release date will be delayed to June, then to September, and finally to October. Afterwards "Virtuos" will go bankrupt and "Ubisoft" will go on cashing in on "Shades of Darkness".

It seems that destiny doesn't want to see H6 releases on time.
First, we got Nival working on HVI...and got discarted.
Secondly, they got BlackHole on the job and...first they "aimed for March 2011" release, then we got the June date, which was pushed to September...and finally to October.
Heroes VI patches: they took like 2 months for the patch 1.2. Then, the Limbic patches, all or most of them were delayed like 1 month from the plan.
Townscreens: they took them a looooooooong time to finally see them with patch 1.5.
And now it seems that Shades of Darkness will suffer the same destiny...

Not surprised. Most of Ubisuck games are delayed. Perhaps they already knew it was going to be ready around may but wanted some preorder money right away?
