Is it me or gay marriage in France would be legal for French, not for Romani people or any other foreigners without French citizenship?

Well, if you aren't a citizen then technically you aren't bound by the laws or rights of the country, you're just a tourist. So if your country doesn't have the same laws pertaining to gay marriage, I'm not sure it's actually legal for them to give you a marriage.

But I know nothing about customs laws in Europe, so

It would be legal in france but illegal elsewhere.
If X from france marries Y from Eastern europe. They would be legally married in France but home country of Y would consider Y not married.

But come on, there are no gays in eastern europe. If they were any, whole goverments, churches would collapse from the very notion that eastern europeans can be gay.

In eastern europe, it is much more acceptable to be  murderer than gay.
Or the ultimate thing ever, an atheist gay corrupt politician murderer-whistleblower.

immigration is imo a much better alternative to government breeding policies.

I am all for horny Swedish blondes immigration, it will help breeding a lot, I promise you.

It already happened more than a thousand years ago. Horny and blonde vikings helped with breeding a lot when they pillaged, raped and settled in France and thanks to that the french got blonde hair in their genepool at the expense of their ancestors quality of life and dignity.

Take a piece of advice from history and be careful of what you wish for.

Sorry, I still don't see your point, then. Could you explain more?

Unlike philosophy law should be practically applicable, feasible. Philosophy is like the Wild West of the mind (in a way it is the opposite too, you have to follow a strict set of logical rules but the point of the metaphor is you can come with an endless set of why not's and according to who's...)

If you do that with the law, well Corribus's sarcastic question to you on the bestiality thread kind of summurizes what happens then:

- Unlike animals children have rights.
- Says who? Seems an arbitrary distinction.

Awww...France truly has lost its mind on this.
Legalizing Gay Marriage is the first thing that leads a country to moral ruin.

What's next? Bestiality? Pedophilia? Rounding up and shooting Christians? Wow...don't want to hear this.

First off, justify this and do not use a slippery slope fallacy. And your justification is not allowed to be illogical or fear mongering. You can, in fact, use religion, but you have to justify why the views of your particular religion should be able to dictate a secular country's laws. And this... this is your challenge.

Secondly, of course France has lost its mind. France be crazy! You were expecting something different? Weeeeeird.

Actually France was very late to legalize it. Here is the list of countries allowing gay marriage until now:

Nah, France has been moving away from freedom of religion and freedom of speech for some time, as it moves into a totalitarian [s]socialist[/s] communist state for its next form of government. Burqus are not allowed because France does not allow religious people to actually live their religion. France is not a place where freedom rings. Not only is there not religious tolerance there is not religious freedom.

Why do you always focus on the religious part. A family lets two of their kids die because of religious faith and that's okay with you, a girl is put into cover just about when she's 13 and spends the rest of her life faceless, unrecognizable, that's okay with you. And why, because they are labeled as religious freedom. I wonder what would your stance be if there was some exotic religion which sanctified gay marriage. There very well may be, and if not, people can make up any kind of crap and then label it as religious, saying this is now our holy faith, what's to stop them? Who's going to decide which one is real religion and which one is not?

My advice to gays, if you want the conservatives to shut up, start a religion, come up with a few rituals and say that gay marriage is something that your faith demands. That should do it.

In Texas, they still use the word in 1950's fashion. Communist just means something very bad and anti-american. It's like a monster in some fairy tale, once its name is called you can fill in the blanks with your imagination.
