I'd also like to know if it is possible to change those specs along with changing which creatures are affected by spec. The only thing related to hero specs I found is in data.pak/GameMechanics/RPGStats/DefaultStats.xdb, under <HeroSpecializations> tag, and most of those parameters are not related to creature specs.

I'm not good at this stuff but wouldn't a look into Nebdar's Necro Mod and Mag's Heroes of Axeoth supply the info?

you need to change the creature ID, in a table, Under reftables I think.

So you could make a Titan specialized hero? Now that's interesting

I dunno if this is the right place to post this, but i will try

So far im having fun and editing all kinds of stuff - creatures, animations, spells , heroes, towns etc... BUT i found several problems or my mistakes i dunno, i can't seem to find where are some of the original creature abilities - ( Archangel Ressurection, Deadly Strike, Cursing attack, etc... ) is it possible to edit those and where can i find them, because they are not in the RpG/Defaultstats.xbd file,

ALSO , i cant seem to find animations for Stronghold units, i mean all except stronghold are avalaible in the Anime_ folder, as i can't seem to make normal Cyclops do Goblin Thrower, can anyone test this last one and tell me what im doing wrong ? Cuz obviously They have animation for it ( they throw the goblin ) but with some kind of a weird delay and turning,  (also i fixed the projectile from TitanEffect to Goblin ) it works, but not quite, can someone try  this too and tell me what i do wrong (it's actually really easy just give cyclops goblin thrower, than fix the animation for Ranged attack from Titan.effect to GoblinHit. and it's done and you will find out my annoying glitch ) thx...

yeah, for example you swap gremlins and titans IDs and Havez should give bonus to titans.

I checked those mods, and it seems that they haven't changed creature specialization. But, thanks anyway, I found some other interesting stuff in those mods

That seems like a solution. Thank you

I might have another close look at reftables too.

I'd be surprised if no one before me has tried to change creature stats when using specialized heroes. One of my fav heroes is Ingvar, who gives his dwarfs a health as well as an attack and defense.

it seems to be Creatures.xdb, in GameMechanics/RefTables/
I think you'll have to swap links.

So, maybe somebody know the answer now?

so back to the question

there is an idea to go even further, and add this new town in the map setting menu, so any player can chose it while starting the game, of course the idea let player chose between, for example, original sylvan town and new sylvan based sanctuary town, it can be done by adding new button that let chose between two (AdvMapTownShared) files, for example like this

(pfotoshoped  picture)

so if there is a person who know how to do this please help me because i would be glad to add some new towns in the game but i want to have ability to use them on the original maps
