I'm not being sarcastic, that's the optimum. I lost the love of my life, and I don't think she's coming back, we both messed it up and you can't go back in time and do things a little differently. Just out of curiosity though, were you lucky and married her when you were both very young or did you actually stayed as a virgin till you got married because of a principle? If the question feels too personal, consider I didn't ask it.

Why optimum? Is only a spiritual choice which mostly contradicts what the body naturally demands. But if you can handle it, there is no harm. Long time effects may be devastating though, like for example being less receptive to what multiple people say to you.

To clarify, the optimum part to me is not EVER being with just one woman, but when you're with THE woman, keeping it that way. So theoretically, if that happens when you're very young and things work out, you may indeed end up with being with one woman ever. I don't think of it as a moral norm or restriction, it's just that I am monogamic by nature and when I'm in a happy relationship, I don't fancy being with others anyway. Let's ask a question, let's say I am in that situation and Ana Beatriz Barros came up to me and said, "Artu, I wanna be yours, take me now, have your way with me." I guess I wouldn't just stand there, I would give it a shot. But something tells me, that sex wouldn't be as good as one can imagine, I would miss my true love even when in bed with a super model. Or maybe, I just got emotional today, because I texted a message and asked the woman I was talking about if she was in the protests and if she was okay. It had been a long time since we've talked. Memories rolled.
