Lmao. The same could be said for the quality of the writing and it looks like the writers want to finish this as quickly as possible so they can on to ruin the next star wars trilogy.

btw, it's gotten to the point where any time I hear a person use the words 'subverted expectations' or 'fan expectations' it makes me want to rip off their head and **** down their throats. There's no ending that I need or require. The only expectation I have is consistent characterization, competent world-building, and a sensible narrative.

Forget the fans. I think majority of them aren't really familiar with D&D stuff. They are probably soap opera-oriented viewers. They aren't like us. We are special. (Opps...)
So are you guys excited for the last episode? I'm happy and sad at thr same time.

What D&D stuff? A fan does not need to be aware of behind the scenes development to form their own opinion.
As for the last episode I kind of.. don't care. It should have been a big thing but it isn't.

I am excited but at the same time I'm thinking that it might not be as great as I'm hoping for. I liked the first three episodes of the season, but the next two, not that much.
And I still think that only six episodes for the final season aren't enough. We'll see...

The story didn't went through to what I expect it to be. But who cares? It didn't too from the start. I thought Ned Stark won't die but he died. Earlier, than that even if I expected him to die. I don't know if the show deviated that much from the book but I'm used to it killing my expectations. It has wierd and crazy twists. The feeling is like having a toxic relationship with someone. Hahaha!

I agree. I'm not excited. At all. I am only watching for Drogon only. He's been the only one worth watching through all these seasons.

A lot of people didn't like the Sopranos ending, either... 
Me, i hated the final season of Dexter. They were all over the place. I think, by comparison, that what they're doing with the final season of GoT is FAR superior.
But then, GoT is far superior to Dexter, anyway.

Yeah, and f*cks were given that night. D&D can wipe their behinds with your pettition (if it was put on paper  ) that is the truth. Like I said, internet culture doing sth "meaningful" from the front of their computer screens... D&D are crying and wiping their tears with the money Disney gave them for new Star Wars.
But this is my stance on online petitions, you are free to dislike the series however you like if it makes you feel better.
I'm somewhere in the middle: I'm not in awe with the final season, but take pleasure in laughing from all the haters and critics like those people who named their children Danaerys. Cheers lel!

The feeling I have right about this series is, it's like we had a huge heroic fantasy amazing saga that is going to end like some cheap commercial telefilm. Disappointing.

The more I think about it the more I realize the whole conflict with Cersei is completely contrived and stupid. Let me try to demonstrate:
Scene: The Red Keep.
Cersei wheels in a wagon full of gold and then sits down opposite a representative of the Iron Bank.
Cersei: Here's all the money we owed you. Highgarden was just sitting on tons of gold for some reason, all in one place.
Bank: (overjoyed) Oh my goodness thankyou! To be honest I never thought we'd see a single bit of this come back.
Cersei: Oh yes, speaking of that. I'd like to borrow three times that amount. I'm trying to conquer Westeros.
Bank: (flabbergasted) You're trying to....uh. Who are you trying to defeat?
Cersei: Well there's this crazy lady with three dragons and she's also got a horde of nomads and a highly disciplined legion of spearmen. Also, everybody in Westeros hates my guts. So I'm sure you can see my problem right?
Bank: (pauses before continuing) And who do you have on your side?
Cersei: Well nobody really except a huge fleet of Vikings. I'm sure you saw them on the way in. That's kind of why I need the money, so that they don't go raiding constantly. Vikings can be a hungry bunch.
Bank: Ohhhh, I see. The Vikings will prevent the dragon lady from crossing the water to invade. Very smart.
Cersei: Oh no, she's already here. In fact she's already completely destroyed my field army. As far as I know the only people who survived were my brother, who just between you and me is the stupidest Lannister, and this mercenary who has plot armor. I mean like really, really, really thick plot armor.
Bank: (blinking)
Cersei: Yeah, actually all of us here have some amazing plot armor. I'm even wearing some beneath my clothing. You can't even tell right?
Bank: Uhhhh, remind me again what your claim to the throne is?
Cersei: Well, I was living in the Red Keep when the last true heir died - unless you count the dragon lady, who is the last surviving member of a dynasty that ruled Westeros for three hundred years.
Bank: Oh I see. Three wagons full of gold? I'll have it sent right over.
