I think I was a bit lucky (as you can see from first screenshot), AD resisted slow. Anyway, it doesn't really matter - as long as you use blind vs. castle AI you only have to survive for 7 turns and then you win.
Yep, you were a bit lucky. But you're right, it doesn't matter cause I just wanted to show those nasty AAs what a devil can do hehe
Actually, I still didn't beat them in a fair 1vs1 combat but shh! don't tell them

It was very lucky - normally when you blind he just casts mass cure/dispel in my game. So I'll try to do it without using blind just for a challenge.
Edit: I did it
Preparation.
1. You can farm some additional demons (I got about 3,5k in 2 days) but that's not necessary - 3,5K frenzied demons kills everything as good as 1500 frenzied demons does.
2. Equip every +Power artifact - knowdlege is not useful anymore after you gather spell points from Dungeon. Get +12 SP armour. Bow of Sharpshooter is useless - we don't use Magogs here. Get Orb of the Earth to minimise loses.
3. Get rid of Ballista.
Now the battle. I did it first time so it may not be perfect and there are quite a lot of loses - didn't bother to ressurect units, just sacrificed some for less time spending.
1.You act first. You have to stop AA from whiping your entire army. As I said blind will not work 99% of times, so you just Berserk them. He will not have time to react since it is his fastest creature. First he will kill Ammo Cart, then you can just attack his army or wait, no difference.
2. Every other turn keep casting Berserk so that AA will wipe some of his forces. If you consider that Archangels have made enough damage just cast Frenzy on Demons and kill them in 1-2 turns.
3. In the meantime Shield is nice to minimise loses.
4. Blind the last stack and keep ressurecting. Or you can just ressurect about 1500 imps and bring back to life all your Archdevils or Demons. Cerberi are good ressurect meat as well.
Now some screenshots; I've lost useless stuff that I sacrificed and some demons & efreets that I didnt bother to ressurect, however I've also gained about 800 demons due to Pit Lords abbility.
Last turn
Tyris killed
Xeron before battle
I think that would be possible to end this battle in 1-2 turns if Xeron would be properly prepared earlier.

WOW, hold on a second.
First of all I can understand getting rid of bow of sharpshooter, although I do prefer to make use of the entire army otherwise I'd only engage with legions of demons and stuff
But, why get rid of ballista and ammo cart??? It makes no sense, I always use those 2 in battles against AI as a decoy and the silly AI (even on 200% like I usually play) falls for it and hits them instead of hitting my army
So, why you did you dismiss those 2 since you were not going to use blind anyway?
Secondly, yeah blind is powerful indeed so I will try to play without it from now on, at least against the AI. Just for a change.
Thirdly, I know that with legions of demons it's easy to win and if I didn't win this myself I would have told you to defeat her without using the demons (the farmed demons I mean, cause using the armies from towns is OK).
Fourthly, you said "get orb of earth to minimize loses". By orb of earth I assume you mean orb of silt (right?) and if yes, how do you minimize loses by having the orb of silt??? As far as I know it only increases the efficiency of earth based spells (ye, resurrection too) but you said that you don't cast resurrect cause you want to save time
So, is there other way to minimize loses through that orb that I don't know of??
Then, you said that blind won't work 99% of the time?? For me it worked 100% of the time, even though I think I gave Tyris resistance skill (not sure tho). So anyway, it did work every time I cast it so why do you say it didn't/doesn't work 99% of the time?
And that would be all I guess
I can see by your and h3enthusiasts' play that there are so many ways to defeat castle with Inferno, even with less army and worse stats. And silly me I lost twice in a row when I tried and I got irritated and literally quit the game lol.

Ballista is good first week, when cleaning with minimal forces around your town. After this, one should get rid of it unless he has the skill, having it without the skill creates only trouble later. Ammo cart/healing tent are safe but 99% of the late game battles they will be useless, unless wog.

Basically what Salamandre said.
Bow is useless -> magogs dont to anything, I wouldn't even bother to bring them with main army for speed. Start changing them into demons on 16 day
Earth of Silt, yeah that's what its called in English. I didn't know before the battle that I won't even need ressurection so I put it on just in case.
Basically additional demons from farming are unnecessary as I stated, because even yours 1500 demons from castle are enough to 1 hit everything with Frenzy on them. Then you might have to ressurect something, but that's not a big deal - its easily doable without those additional 2k demons =)

Yeah frenzy... cool spell, I used to use it a lot some years ago (10-12) when I was playing heroes weekly with a friend.
Good old days
oh well, life goes on... thanks for the tips... and hopefully one day I'll have the right attitude and time to play vs human players again

Orb is useless for Resurrection, it just increases offensive spells damage

Does it? Well, I've always thought it does increase effectiveness of all Earth spells. Good to know, thank you =)
