The only seeker (faction "Starter Hero") with lore is Hakeem. There isn't much given about others, even the fortunes named after them don't give much insight.
The only few things that can be said about them are their "classes" and few other minor facts:
Cassandra - Paladin, maybe from Griffin Duchy (not sure if other duchys teach their knights how to ride griffins), a direct servant of the crown?
Garant - Demon lord, on first glimpse he seems a incubus, but his alternate art reveals him rater as a "full demon". Seeker of discord seems to hint him being a servant of Ur-Hekal (hate) although Ur-Krag (destruction) might also be a possibility (his Purge card and also
Seria - Death Knight, probably a high ranking member of the Cult of Spider Queen. Probably a skilled military leader. Might be tasked dealing with "unaffiliated undead."
Kat - Shaman. Unclear if he is from Ranaar or Pao islands. The tiger and the background seem to hint the latter.
Yukiko - Samurai. Probably a human. She is shown riding a kirin, which may hint to some special connection with them. (+the whole seeker of harmony thing).
And this is probably all we can dell from cards.

Being a lore nerd is hard... i also want to hear more about them and i would love a bit more flavor text on cards.

Well yeah, to be honest she looks a lot more suitable for Vampire Deck on that alternative artwork than Sveltana.

Yukiko looks more like a yuki onna to me but she could be wearing make up Also I'd guess the kirin will kill her once her mission is over. The price for riding a kirin.. Not practical for mounts

All you need to know is that you shouldn't be playing tournaments until you get enough good cards to make good and reliable deck. You will be just wasting your tournament tickets, so just play ladder for now, get daily quests done and get more cards.

And even if you have all of the needed cards, you will need experience against other top decks and time to adjust your strategy.

It is hard to beat a good rush even when you have a solid deck. Don't worry about it, your deck is fine for the time you have invested into the game.
Having 4 duplicates of each card is a huge advantage and so is knowing what combos to expect from each hero. I mean my Ariana has 4 town portal, 4 soulreaver, 4 banshee and 3 enthrall.. No matter what you do there is always a removal to draw.
Hang in there and you'll get that awesome deck you want to play. Getting there ispart of the fun, collecting the good cards you miss one by one.

Btw, got 200 seals. I could get to 350 with the "win 50 duels vs friends" but I can't ask for that  Just some advice for what to buy, my hands are soooo itchy right now

Reason I surrendered at the end of each match was the 50 wins vs friends achievement You should have some wins already.

Hey E, the way it is supposed to work, is you hit 100%, then you play the next game if you win, you get promoted to next level, if you loose - you know the story. The points don't mean anything, they are more a guage of how easily you progressed, ie if you look at amount of duels won vs points, the lower number duels with hi amount points, mean you cruised, hi number duels won, low points means you battled
Then how did I get promoted after losing a game?
When you reach 100% all you have to do is play a game to progress (win or lose).

I lost a game at 100%, fell to 97% and was promoted when I returned to 100% and won next game. Go figure

Well this was a fun week with the weekly format.
I didn't go out of the way to edit my open Kelthor deck but the inclusion of purge and cleansing on their own made for some nice experience.
Now onto doing the hardest daily ever. win 2 games vs friends!

Friends can do favours for each other (if it doesn't affect MMR/elo)
On weekly "it's a kind of magic", it seems that academy takes the top spot...esp with mag resist creatures, circle of nine, etc...

Belias/Ignatius doesn't care for that much, and stone shields add to their fortunes arsenals.
