I had a quest-stopper with the Mage's Guild quest for Gutsripper, but it has since been fixed.

Aldmeri Dominion is DOMINATING in Goldbrand right now. My Guildmaster was all over our chat with 'everybody get in Cyrodiil, they've taken a keep!' ...yeah, they took ONE keep, every other keep is ours. Queen Areynn must be pleased with Sorcalin right now. XD

Edit:

I have finally made my leisurely way to Grahtwood!

Edit:

Celf, is it just me or does the game seem kind of empty for an MMO?

Edit:

Ah, apparently there are issues with the subscriptions officially starting. :\

Well you realize the mega server is made of of instanced zones?

I know all my guilds normally have over 50 people on though I guess yesterday people had to enter the payment option could have slowed down some stuff at least temporarily.

I am into enchanting and provisioning. Smithing is happening just fine for me and I am not having to trade daggers to deconstruct or anything. I just  deconstruct a lot of drops, and the rest is in the skill points. Let me know if you have ingredients and want 4x food. I even have a purple recipe ready to go, lots of blue,

I am Celfious there also

I was hoping it was just that. It's just Cyrodiil was so empty when I went on...Saturday I think it was.

I would but I'm doing Provisioning also. It's so useful and SO easy to level although it wasn't until yesterday that I realized you can only have one food type active at a time. Oh well. I can send you ingredients I don't have recipes for yet if you like though.

My account on ESO is Naught_But_A_Name, and do you need an Argonian style book? I have three that I haven't gotten around to trading/selling yet, for some reason that style likes me.

The AVA Campaigns if I am not mistaken all people who select one will end up on the same instance.

I don't really need anything, I definitely have more food than I can use for myself. I am supplying guild using some ingredients they invest and some I find/buy. Going from  trade guild to trade guild I have found a lot of ingredients and enchanting stuff to be honest under priced. Part of me feels bad for grabbing Denetas for 50g but it is not really morally wrong in doing so either. The 1g per certain ingredients I end up making 4 things of to NPC seems kind of fair actually because not many people will invest in the trade anyways.

I tend to check for Motifs and have used about 4 or 5 but I sell them normally to upkeep my costs. Sooner or later I will throw you a message Naught_But_A_Name

If I were to redo one thing, I would be learning all the recipes under a different character because holding vital ingredients can be a heavy burden on space. I make due though.

Second that. I'm not even trying to save for a horse; all of my major profits so far have been going to buying more bank/pack space. I'd probably be all right if I weren't holding on to so many Trait items. I'm really looking forward to being able to research two at a time!

Edit:

Got two of the three crafting skills letting me research two things at a time now. I'm still a little sketchy on how I was supposed to beat Mayor Aulus if I hadn't had a summon out though.

Edit:

Woot, I found a Kuta sneaking around Cyrodiil!

I did not tell you this?? (what I am about to say)

For lack of stores I have come and go many trade guilds, I have a few that I stay in but down the line I check another one out, no hard feeligns, its a store.

I get the nicest deals. I just picked up about 20 Moderate glyphs at 50 each, 6 Ta for less than 100g, Denetas for 100, etc etc. Stacks of ingredients sometimes..

Going shop to shop I'm bound to find a few things that almost makes me feel bad buying so under priced. I think I just spent 1000 on enchanting that is worth about level 6-13 for my alt. I can't use my main to enchant, the provisioning and enchanting supplies are impossible to do for one character who is not just a crafter.

Yes you did, but I'm glad to hear you're having so much success in your market trawling.

On an unrelated note, is it just me or do some of the choices you make during quests seem rather...arbitrary? "You could do this one thing...or you could randomly kill this person!" It's a bit odd.

I don't pay attention to quest dialog 90% of the time. It may be arbitrary but I can't say.

Although I do select the vampires must die when given that choice.

Wow, somebody actually bought the Argonian skillbook I had listed for 1,000 gold.

Edit:

I need to complain about the Fading Tree quest. STUPID. ARBITRARY. CHOICE. I spent the last chunk of the quest waiting for someone to bring up the AGONIZINGLY OBVIOUS third solution--and no one brings it up. NOT EVEN TO HAND-WAVE IT AWAY!

It has its ups and downs, but it captivates me. I am waiting for them to address the community about the bots. It is disgusting some of the bot operations I have ran into. I hope their efforts are for nothing - and besides this is not a pay to win game. Short cuts can get a player to peak sure, but it is not as if more gold will ever take someone above the cap or more efficient with strategy.

I played Shaiya, where there is constantly something more to grind or buy, no matter if someone paid $5000 there is more power to acquire. At least ESO money really isn't worth all that much. So the bots have a step in right now but I still have the optimism about that as well.

I am hooked on the game for sure. In like 1-2 days I can craft 4 or 5 pieces at set stations that require 5 traits (heavy armor / sword) And shield if needed but I am dual wield all the way. Draconic Power. One skill set is designed for AOE DPS which i am satisfied has radius, so while my armor and spell resistance is teetering the OC line, I don't have to stand right on every mob in order to self AOE damage them,.

The other skill set is pretty much selection for bosses, or one on one type of fights.

50 Provisioning, 30 Smithing, 25 Enchanting, I would type out some tip on how to pick which food ingredients to hold,

Put it this way, breifly, if you want, provisioning has the 6 sets, stew, grilled, bread, wine, spirit, beer.

Food portion  I think of it in terms of Potency ingredients. IE: Thin broth, broth, Stock, Jus, and Glace, and for V5 Imperial stock. Combine these with onion and some random subsistence ingredient like venison, beef, Horker, etc etc. So on the food side I have a spot for 7x3 which includes the potency, and improvement, and a nice handful of the venison, shank, etc.

The food improvment ingredients are 3.. Onion, Salt, and Red Wheat - thats it, unless looking into consumate.

Took a huge load of my conservation efforts which would bring no avail. No need having a bunch of random, I just pick 20-30 and can produce high quality foods for any level,.

I will message in game soon but if you happen to run across Enriched (which would be HP/SP food/drinks) I desperate need level 35, 40 enriched recipe.

^This. As I get further in I'm finding more broken quests than at start, though not (yet) to the point where I can't find anything to do. PvP keeps crashing me out, which is irritating, and my home campaign is empty but I suppose that's something I need to change on my end. But the bots they need to do something about; I already have a long list of e-mails from the number of "players" I've reported for being such, and I shouldn't need to be doing that.

Sorcerer here, wielding Sword and Shield I mostly Crystal Blast things from a distance while my Clannfear distracts them. When they manage to close with me I can Crippling Slash them to slow them down and hit them hard, and possibly back away to blast them some more. I also picked up the shield technique to absorb magical projectiles sent my way for some mid-battle healing, and that ability that damages everything nearby with lightning for when I'm surrounded or just need to get some extra damage in in melee. It probably isn't optimal but it IS fun.

Heehee, yeah my Provisioning is maxed out too. XD I discovered that just because I can't USE level 35 food (I'm level 27 presently) doesn't mean I can't MAKE it, it gives (gave) me good Provisioning boosts and then I can sell it/swap it in at the Guild Bank for crafting materials. (As a side note, I try to trade in useful things when I take out useful things from the Guild Banks--and in that way hopefully keep from irritating my guildies. )

Lately I've been getting most of my recipes off guildies, and they vanish fast, but if I see some I'll grab them. Amusingly my PvP guild is actually better for that. Guess none of the PvPers want to craft? Oh well, it works out nicely from my angle.

Edit:

Story-wise, I have come to the conclusion that if the Last Dragonborn is a deadpan snarker, the Vestige is rather clueless. My character keeps asking the stupidest questions.

Edit again:

I sent you a message in-game, Celf. Let me know if you got it.

yes as you know I received this message.

I say to bad you are not DC because sure we could fight on the same side but it is more unfortunate because I wouldn't know one enemy from another , you're all KOS, and who knows your group may respond effectively.

I know when I hit veteran , maximum of V3, I will be out there. Probably V1 (soon)

Somebody left a pair of Kuta in the Guild Bank. They're mine now, though I'm having difficulty figuring out when I can consider them 'paid back'--I left a bunch of level 45 foods and some crafting materials; hopefully that will suffice as tribute.

Edit:

Haron, I know you're trying to help and I DO appreciate it, but...why are you trying to get up in the monsters' faces when you're an archer?

On an unrelated note, I found my first Rekuta that wasn't looted from the Guild Bank!

Elder Scrolls Online isn't being made by Bethesda. It's being made by a third party company that makes MMORPGs. There's no way it's going to be good. It's going to be like every other generic MMO out there.

I've had the same feeling with many of my games.

Recently I completed Morrowind twice with two different playing styles... then I did it for Diablo 2, just to remember that I had done that before.

The thing about Morrowind, in my opinion, is that the characters move way too slowly. My plan was to get hold of Boots of Blinding speed, and I thought I'd be finished rather quickly, but once I got used to the boots, and tried running without them, it felt like I was running in slow motion, while with the boots, it was with normal speed.

I think a strong part of why I'd eventually give up on progressing in different games could be because it simply went too slow for my liking. Another non-connected irrelevant quest, where 95% of the time consists of looking at a toon moving slowly around? No thanks...

While this game is not complete and it has issues, I can't say "It's going to be like every other generic MMO out there" at all.

Trust me it has its moments here I am considering my investment but it's not like a generic MMO. Two things I would like improved are A: The bot situation and B: Quests end up to me, clikgin through the dialog, and chasing the white arrow. Maybe killing a boss.

The crafting system is pretty unique. The PVP is like RTS only youre one of the powerful beings in first person and not a person clicking strategic orders to little guys going after forts and what not.

Hopefully they will improve certain areas  and it is painfully average in some respects but far from all.

Just in case youre extracting your own... extracting our own glyphs has a penalty to gained inspiration points just like deconstructing our own smithing, etc.

If you have an opportunity to buy an aspect or glyph same price, go with the glyph because deconstructing gives more IP than creating it. I had to stop trading glyphs with everyone because I have had good fortune in aquiring great aspects at low cost. Producing jejota + 95% of the time my mail box would be full of Ta's.

It's not that I am against giving but these were not gift arrangements. There is not much point in making a lot of ta glyphs unless maybe you have a ton of potency to burn. According to this chart, and "going rates" jejota seems the way to go.

Some collected data at tamriel foundry
Creation--------------------------------------------<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<Extraction

Also notice the potency 5 (level 45-50) compared to 6 and 7---
Note: Positive potency is in more demand since 7 armor pieces take positive only. If trying to burn some by making pointless glyphs for someone to extract I would go with negatives in most cases..
