Well, it looks like it. They are probably teasing us with them and this will be different Ariana judging by her name, not just alternative artwork.

Oooh elemental support maybe?
Haven't been following lately but are elementals viable to build a deck around? Think it would be a kind of cool gimmick... summoning elementals to match the enemy's element and render their spells useless.

Nope. They never were viable, there were few decks that have used Greater Elementals, but that is it.
On the other hand, artwork is stunning as usual from DoC. That Djinn is amazing and Harpy is definitely a mother with Boobs that big. Wondering what will Week of the Elementals do.

Shame.
Was thinking a wizard hero with a special that reduces the cost of elementals would be pretty sweet... or maybe "when you draw an elemental creature card, that card can be deployed at half cost". Less versatile, but more unique.. combine with deck drawing tools to potentially flood the board with elementals.
An other idea I had was a hero with all 4 classic elemental magics (water, air, fire, earth), but he can only use one at once and has to use his special to switch between them.
Brainstorming ideas..

well the fire elementals are in play with an empowered spell, mass rage, immolation deck ^^
