Man am I late to this thread. Oh well, this isn't the first time I posted to myself.
I I am surprisingly eager to play the new heroes VII game. I don't know why. I haven't had much time to play video games these days, but room will be made for this one.
II Sometimes I think Heroes V dungeon was made just for me. Not only is it a magic heavy play style that requires keen synchronization between leader and troops, but it also has a unit roster that consist of my two favorite things; reptiles and pretty women. The faction even makes heavy use of my favorite color, purple...don't ask ok?
III I am not sure exactly. I wish Sylvan and fortress could have been in it. Too bad. Fortress doesn't get enough air time. I definitely want dungeon back, even though it will never be my dream faction ever again. I would love to have a story were sylvan and dungeon go at it. It's definitely good to see academy back. Wizards are cool.
IVI hope to see more of the dwarfs in the future, but I swore an oath of loyalty to the forest behind my house, so Sylvan got my vote.

It's interesting how you like Dungeon from Heroes 5. I think that the one from Heroes 3 was much better. The warlocks were better than dark elves, imo. How about the Heroes 6 Dungeon, did you like that as well?

Yeah, about Heroes 6. I never actually purchased it, only played the demo. Had some fun with sanctuary, but got bored quickly. I did see youtube videos of heroes 6 dungeon in action, and honestly it didn't look exciting. Like other heroes 6 factions Dungeon seemed overly formulaic in it's play style, while it's roster was attempting to be Heroes 3 and Heroes V at the same time, but ended up being neither.
I did enjoy playing the heroes 3 dungeon faction. It's odd, but heroes 3 dungeon was enjoyable for being a random collection of outcast, while heores 5 dungeon was enjoyable for being a singular race.
It's unfortunate, but nether dungeon faction will be featured in future games. That said, I am still optimistic that Ubisoft will get dungeon right in some other way, which is why I will be voting for them if they are up against inferno. Plus, Inferno could use a coffee break from constantly trying to conquer the upper world.
