Prices of Lv8-WoG/Homm3-Creatures: your opinion :)
For me, there is a big difference of price between Lv8-WoG and Lv8-HoMM3 creatures. An example could be a Darkness Dragon and a Rust Dragon: first costs 8000 Gold and 3 Sulfur; second costs 15.000 Gold and 14 Sulfur...
I'd like rebalance this situation, but I don't know if Lv8-WoG prices are too low or if Lv8-HoMM3 prices are too high...
What was better modify? Increase first, or decrease second???
Just an opinion

If I recall, Rust, Azure and Crystal Dragons are considered level 10 creatures.

Probably, I don't remember this.
But if you are playing and you can choose to buy a Darkness or a Rust, which dragon you purchase?
Statistics are similar. Price no.

An example would be to compare their other stats than just level, which is not equal BTW.

I consider 8th level monsters as a database for modding. In regular game they break every balance and options as "your lvl 7 becomes lvl 8" are totally fuc*ed.
While awesome dragons as rust or azures really rule, as they should. And I fear more rusts than azures, their acid ability is more destructive than better azures stats.

For 8th and 10th level creatures price doesn't matter so much especially since we can boost gold income in towns. It is more important to have these creatures in army regardless of price. Moreover players got used to these prices. Usually there are not too many creatures of these levels to purchase.
BTW: Would it be hard to add customizable array of creature purchase and boost creatures growth prices in next WOG or Era edition?

Certainly, since WoG project has been officially cancelled over two years ago.
Besides, what makes you think that anybody else would like to see modified creature tables that has been around for more than 10 years?

Some people certainly would like to change prices of creatures and their growth boost permanently or in some games to their likes(no mods would be necessary)
As far as I remember some of these prices were changed during these 10 years.

None of next Era (if any) is handling such issues. Those things are only dependent (from now) on custom mods. Sit down, write the codes then you play your own mod.
And btw, to change prices and creature stats, is baby scripting, a few lines.

Table would be more convenient. ERM syntax looks a bit like hieroglyphs. To find out all necessary things there... For sure not hard. But it takes some time anyway.

I am not expecting any soon 3.59. This is titanic work, not for one man.
Erm may look strange, but this is what you get. It is very versatile and allows almost anything. It takes some time, indeed.
But any modding language takes some time.

With no rank Rust dragon > Darkness dragon
with rank ace Darkness dragon > Rust dragon

The first time I played WoG it was possible to swap rust, crystal and phaerie dragons in Hill Forts and if u choose External in the Altar of Transformation u would get phaerie dragons; so I have to agree: at some point developers tought Rusts and Crystals were at the same level as SAs, LTs and DDs. But now this isn't possible anymore, at least with Era default options, so the PoV must have changed.
