Verriker, first of all, I want to apologize to you for my long absense, I hope you'll understand that I'm not able to be around constantly.
Secondly, I'm not gonna to revive that conversation. Pointless. It will be just us telling to each other same things over and over. It was fun until some point.
To summarize my position: I suggested that there is a room for possibility (read carefuly those words) that H3 Demons are not actual Kreegans. You say there is no room (if I understood your correctly, which, I hope, I did). You made your points, I made mine. Mind you, I never told ya that my pint of view on this matter is the only one possible. Buuuut... you blindly (if you ask me) follow Fulton's words and stick to your interpretation. Well, you have the right, ofc.
I believe we can close this already.
Oh, and Stevie, you still me remember me kindly! But I'm kinda surprised hearing about mental gymnastics from you...
Galaad, keep up good work, even if not so many people are interested in it. ^_^

yeah, I don't agree to disagree because there is no room, the way it is phrased plus all the supporting points rules out your possibility, but if you prefer to drop that you certainly can lol

The way how it specifically concludes with a mention of Slava and Cate's children, I worry that the Griffin bios will potentially end with a mere recap / epilogue of Heroes 6. We already know what happened to their kids - what about the kids of THOSE kids? Who were the three sired by Anton & Gwendolyn and how did the Falcon/Griffin lineage get divided? If there's anything of particular interest, it's that.

Personally, I believe that's we all hope for - to learn of Irina's child, Anton's three children, Ivan's father and brother...
Frankly, I personally would care more about Ivan's descendants rather than ancestors... Everyone between Ivan and Oleg, Andrei's parents... Which obviously won't happen, because we're currently in the past.

Main post updated with some goodies from Sandro400, most notably his tremendous work on the H5 Campaign to make it "compatible" with the new Ashan lore.
This is huge contribution to the thread and therefore I want to suggest him with a +QP.
Although I don't know where.. Maybe his first post on page 1 with a Mod note.

While we're waiting for beta (or we're not =P ), Julien Pirou (better known here as Marzhin) kindly agreed to answer some lore questions (regarding Ashan).
The Q&A is here.
Those questions were gathered from SC and forums (on different languages) over a period of several months and mainly deal about recent retcons and the "legacy" of H5's creatures (some of them are not so important or even nit-picky, but hey, they too have a right to be answered!)
*The last question very much holds no meaning unless you're from Poland or Russian community.

It's only a retcon if you change/replace something established in the lore, not if you add something new.

grab a dictionary mate, the original/literal definition of retroactive continuity means reframing past events with addition of new facts, it is actually not always a case of contradiction or revision lol

Anyway, after the end of Elder Wars Angels were struggling against survive and they focus their attention on Holy Falcon Empire (and planned to use Hall of Memories to (let me quote Londo Mollari ) "reclaim their race righful place in Ashan").
They had no reasons or resources to go outside Thallan... at least not now.
As for Faceless - who know what they knows? They aren't a race which share their knowledge to minor races.
Of course these are only my speculations and maybe there was some Angel Sky City/outpost beyond Thallan... but most of them were destroyed during battles with Demons and lated during Elder Wars.
2. Personaly I think Wizards' slave fortress on shores of Shrouded South would be a better choice.

"Reframing past events" does suggest that said past events are altered, if not in facts, at least in meaning.
