It has been told to me that the main reason of my invitation is due to my investment at Ubisoft blog. I admit I was surprised having huge majority of shadow councilors supporting me and backing me up at the Fan Day announcement, as I did probably the most severe trolling I have ever done in my life there (at least I didn’t use fake accounts as some others).
I think the real insult toward the HMM creative director would be to think that he would get offended so easily. I expect him to defend his point of view, and to listen to mine. Unless ... he’s actually aroused ... by spiders? ... 
No no seriously, let’s keep the drama. People here are obviously much more interested about discrediting others than looking at the work they did for them a few pages back.

Well this has been interesting to read the past few days 
Just going to point out that meeting and talking to someone in person, whom you only know impersonally, is a wildly different experience than watching vids online.
Common sense is a good starting point for everything, trolling or otherwise

Because 95% of games are doing this and it's a common thing in the industry?

then again very little in Ashan isn't nonsensical . but still, some competence in armour design would be appreciated

I'm just stating the fact that its a common thing in game industry and not in any way a Ubisoft or Ashan thing.
Not a fan of it but it's just something that needs a lot more time and attention. The problem is that a lot of gamers are fine with such armors (lets remember the "liking" part of gamers tends to be a lot less vocal than the opponents). The change in female armors has been a slow and gradual thing.
About illogical armor designs like spikes. I think there is a limit of how realistic a video game armor must be. "Rule of Cool" is a powerful thing, if it seems protective, then there is nothing wrong with some spikes or horns.
Those armors are bit too spiky yes and could probably be better, but hey they are alot better than the things that Gelu or Queen Catherine wear in H3. (although those things were too a thing of their time... ah damn it, the Gelu outfit was absurd even then)

Ashan armor is indeed better than the majority of h3 armours. i'm not necessarily against spikes either (Chimeric set from Dragons dogma is my favorite armour set in all gaming and that thing has huge horns) but rule of cool only goes that far. Ashan takes it too far. it's just too damn much.
