I think limbic is doing an excellent job. For once it is actually easier to pick out units I don't like rather than picking out the ones I do like. They've done such a spectacular job with academy, I only wish they wouldn't have gone with the mundane tower line up.

And you use the justicar/guardian as an example? seriously? the justicar/guardian is absolutely amazingly awesome and to date the only unit that makes any logical sense. more than the one you proposed, even, since that one lacks helmet and has seriously silly-looking armour. besides, it's a strategy game with soldiers. artwork is used to give a representation of a type of unit. showing what type of unit this is demands full-body simplicity and not hiding anything, something the justicar/guardian does very well and the captain does not. The captain is a character, not a representation of a group of soldiers.

For f*cks sake, do you even read the comments or just comment what ever comes to your head? STOP TAKING THE SECOND IMAGE LIRERALY!!! IT WAS A REPRESANTATION OF WHAT IT COULD OF BEEN.
FOR AN ELITE SOLDIER SHE LOOKS PATHETIC, the story says they are the best of the best warriors, who proved themselves in battle, but it looks nothing like a true warrior.

well, what is your point? you seem to have a problem with the Justicar but you have yet to actually point it out other than saying the captain artwork is superior? what am i supposed to say? the justicar artwork shows perfectly what she is: a melee warrior. the best-looking one in the game even, considering she actually wears what real warriors would've worn. there's no random stuff thrown in to make her look "edgy" or "cool" or anything else stupid like so many others so i ask again: what is the problem with the Justicar? You have yet to answer that with anything but "doesn't look like a warrior" which is wrong since she's the most soldier-looking unit in the game (with possible exception to haven core-tier basics) considering her armaments.
