Are you aware that those specific building add resources visualy only on the "resource bar" at the top of your screen? It is bit weird but you won`t see res. icons above the building (as it should be) and thus it could be like no res. at all (I was confused by this strange change for the first time too).

BTW Am I the only one here or your artefacts also do not add stats to hero? I checked it again and no matter where I put them the result is still the same - no stats for hero (at least no visual signal of the change).

Yea, the resources get added, but there's no visual display.

And yea, as I've heard, artifacts don't add stats.

Where do you add them? Since specific items have specific slots, it's somewhat weird that you say "no matter where I put them". You do equip them on the 8 slots around the Hero doll, right?

Actually, when you visit one such location, you can see a quick count below your resource bar at the top of the screen. It counts up from +0 to the value provided (so Wood / Ore shows +0, +1, +2, +3, +4, +5, +6 and +7 in quick succession), adding it to your total. It's hard to miss and makes you feel like nothing happened at all.

When looking at hero screen, trying to exit hero screen and going back to adventure map instead of the button with the door, which brings you back to adventure map, there is the button that ends the turn and the day...

Not sure if it's a feature, omission or bug, but it doesn't seem as though a hero regains all mana after spending a night in town, even with a magic guild built.

It's working perfectly fine when I booted up a second map.

By the way does anyone know how caravans are supposed to work? Cause they don't seem to work on external dwellings. I cannot recruit them in my town and have them come over there (The dwelling is in AoC), I have to go pick them up with a hero. Not sure if that is intended or a bug.

After saving and trying to Quit to Desktop, my game locked up. I could not Alt-Tab or Ctrl-Alt-Delete out of it and had to manually reboot my PC.

this is a long post, including bug reports/feedbacks/opinions/fix advises all and all, and i dont know where to exactly post, so sorry if its too long/messy/in wrong place.

-Turn times are too high, it should be lower even if you select to choose at "low speed animations".
-Creatures(flying ones), turns themselves to weird directins if they fly over obstecles. its game hurting considering also flanking, not just an animation problem.
-Some tooltips are missing still. celestial armor for example, doesnt show how much it effects if you cast on a creature.
-high speed animation is broken. most of the time they dont even show an animation because they are finishing their action so quickly.
-creature stacks sometimes doesnt "drop dead" even if they they die. even if they die, sometimes their appearance is like a living stack, like a ghost, this is a problem. sometimes confuses player.
-creatures sometimes doesnt follow orders as intented: you order them to flank enemy, and they refuse to travel around it and just hit from where they are standing at. i dont know if its hit calculates as like flanking enemy or not, i cant tell that, confuses me very much.
-sometimes no retaliation fails. tooltip can be very wrong.
-healing ressurrects, but the amount getting ressurrected is not correct sometimes.
-we need town tooltips like h3 has. i cant compare upgraded/not-upgraded versions, or i cant see from current tooltip if that creature has any ability, also i cant read what those abilities do. the window/tooltip for town and creatures needs some serious upgrade to provide more information.
-some buildings on adventure map, doesnt show any info if they were visited or not, esspeccially creature dwellings needs that. did i recruited them or not? if i dont remember this.. well this is clearly a problem. they need to show if they were visited or not. also are those creatures stack with previous weeks if i dont recruit them? i dont know this, and i should know this without testing it, tooltip also should say somethings regarding to that. by the way, i have not seen any caravan option to use, its not implemented yet? i know game should have those since i see caravan icon in town etc etc, but i never get to use them? hmm...
-town buidings need to glow(highlighted) like h3 ones did. it helps to understand what your mouse is hovering over in that second.
-its really hard to see what kind of building/artifact lies behind defending creatures in adventure map. i literally need to click/try several times to be able to see them. trying different angles, different points etc etc.. its too hard in its current state. this needs fix.
-area of control bonuses, have some serious problems, my governors "bonus creature" type speciallity doesnt works sometimes and i dont know why and i cant make fix it in game. and no, i know where area of control effects, even if my hero is in it, it doesnt work sometimes. needs serious fixes in this. i ll return to this later.
-in main menu where you create a new game, its really hard to understand which hero you are picking because their portraits are too small to see. also a bigger issue, why didnt you made them show their speciallities/affinities in menu, before acctual game begins? i would like to know what my starting hero has! h3 had that shown very clearly, cant you make something like that?
-"passing turn music"? is it not implemented yet or is it not planned to have one? its acctually a functional thing, not just artistic piece. it helps player to get when he will wait and when he will act again. please add this.

Balance Issues
-light magic is good, all-around satisfying to use and functional. secondary effects are cool too, but i have one concern that havent confirmed yet: "single target+blind chance" spells should have much lower damage compared to other schools "single target damage+no scondary effect" spells. for example, fire bolt should deal much more damage then a level 1 light magic spell. please make sure you balance spells in that way.
-air magic is pretty much too hard to use compared to light magic school. i find air magic spells very hard to use because it can effect your own creatures and they require good positioning unlike light magic spells. i like how much tactical they are, but please make this have higher damage/effects to reward player correctly. if its harder, it should reward player higher, otherwise noone will want to use it.
-couldnt look for water magic much yet, but i can say that spell "blizzard" doesnt help player much, because even if that effect is covering some area and it continues to stay in that area for more then just one turn, thet area is too small and any creature can leave it immediatlly. fix it somehow: my opinions to fixing it,
1-"blizzard effected" creature should remain "effected" even if it just leaved it.
2-blizzard area can be "6x6" to prevent creatures leaving it too easyly.
-"sunburst" doesnt pierce through lines like it was doing in h6, i dont think this is intended, its probably a thing to fix, because h6 one was piercing through enemies, and tooltip shows directions through battlefield.
-i would like to know how much of my stacks getting ressurected correctly, tooltip is wrong most of the time. and also, what is the original stack size, i should be able to see it from creature tooltip, because i can forget the original amount and i may deciede to cast more/less depending the amount it originally has if i know it.
-"week of storm" where doenst allow any shooters to shoot at that week, is a great idea, but unfortunatley its not implemented yet! i was shocked to see fire elements shooting, and crushing my wolves. please implement the effects if you adding the week text to game. great idea but its not implemented, so confuses me!
-"feral charge" is maybe WAY TOO POWERFUL, wolves can travel all across the map and apply defence reduction, too much powerful imho. i have 2 ways in my mind to fix it:
1:you activate it for NEXT turn/enemy can see the effect and they can think to counter it somehow
2: decrease the bonuses applied by ability

Opinions
-making pickups cost high movepoint costs is a great idea, but maps are not rich enough in means of buildings/pickupables. you made some good adjustements i can support, but you need to make it feel good with adding more stuff to adventure map. you need to work on this a bit more.
-level 4 of magic guild in haven, giving only one spell, and when it doesnt give from light magic school, it really makes me mad. i developed my hero to achieve in higher light spell levels and after spending that much resources i find a "chain lightning" spell that i cant even learn. please fix it. i have 2 ways in my mind:
1: offer at least 2 spells of this schools.
2: if you offer 1 spell, offer it from ONLY main magic school of faction, light for haven for instence. but seeing veriety in classes, i think you should not make this but make my first advise. offer 2 spells at least.
-first aid tents making 2 times heal etc etc is nice and all, but the thing it doesnt ressurect any stacks! normally i may not find this problematic but we have heal spells that are allready capable of ressurecting stacks, so i wonder why first aid tents are not able to do same? make it provide smould amounth of heal, but at least make them able to ressurect like light magic able to do so. constancy please. by the way, talking about warfere units, i think warfare skill branch doesnt have good abilities enough, abilities are just meh, and doesnt offer what i dream of in battlefield. please rework some abilities in it to make it more viable. currently it looks like a bad option. it can be a lot better!
-there is no good balance of hero classes i think. governing skills should offer something immediatly starting from first level, and only skill branch, offering something in means of governing/managing, is economy, we need more like those in skill system, its awesome for secondary heroes to effect game, and lets face it, secondary heroes are mostly left without extra level gains, so making them effective immediatly from first level, is very essential!!! skills like exploration, needs some small bonuses in first levels to govern, and please make sure that all factions can have a governer class avaible to recruit in tavern (aka hall of heroes) in first week. i feel very lucky when i can recruit one with a economy, this shouldnt be like that. this needs fix! this is the most important to me. i have an idea regarding to that please consider discussing it:
make governing heroes gaining experience from governing. not all heroes will be in heat of battle, and governor heroes can develope themselves overtime by their own way. let them gain daily experience by their governed town. small amounts and but still making he/she/it gain some. for instence 1000 experience for 1 week. this way the higher level governing spells may really get some acctual use.

i played all my games on normal difficulty, i can tell that A.I. is really dumb but more importantly, utterly broken. this is the most frustrating part of current beta version. It is not just acting illogical, there are more to tell then that, it is blind. my last gameplay was 2vs2 in big map, and i watched my ally carefully to get how it acts. it doesnt pick up its own goods, free resources on ground and even if it has recruits in town, it doesnt go back to recruit them. *facepalm*



also it NEVER gains any strenght, played total of 3 games, no matter how much time passed, its main hero is always level 4-5-6, and have a laughable army. what an epic fight... sigh... no loss at all.



only thing it manages to do well is, going for some certain adventure map objects.. like for collecting +1000 gold.

there are still somethings for me to write more, i have taken notes when i was playing, so i ll add more, but im exhausted and bored to type more. i hope you will read my feedback, and i hope i can be usefull in my feedback given.

I have been playing Heroes II recently, and I can state for a fact that there you never get information on remaining creatures in creature dwellings on the map, nor if you've "visited" them. I might add that a "visited" tooltip wouldn't have any meaning for a creature dwelling since you don't have to recruit any creatures if you visit. It would ambiguous.

Bottom line is that I think this may well be working as intended.

cleglaw, governing heroes getting expirience is the best idea I've heard from a long time!

And one suggestion from me - please add the "One or more of your heroes may still move, are you sure you want to end your turn notification. Too many times when I exit the town or heroes window I accidentally end my turn...

The Air spell which makes creatures move didn't work for me.

The Academy special building which places 2 debuffs on enemy creatures in your town's area of control doesn't work.

Sometimes the interface shows you can cast spells on Gargoyles even though they're magic immune.

So I was gathering bugs during playing and that's what I got: (some things will probably repeat from previous post, didn't read everything )

big problems with small piramid, it gets extra bright and triples itself Picture

also look how many times I could use it during one turn Picture

What happened to my hero ? Picture

What is going on over here, idk Picture

On battlefield creatures choose to go different places than i told them to, or to attack from different side enemy creature

Ylath's clairvoyance doesn't work, it show revealed land on mini map but not on adventure map

Sometimes I want to use spell 'instant recall' and I want to use it but there is massage 'no town with portal found' or something like that

during the 'week of gargoyles' the growth is not increased the same thing for the week of other creatures,
during the week of plague still could recruit units

sometimes i can't recruit creatures even though i have resources, i have to click recruit all

scrolls bought in academy town don't work, frost bolt scroll on the battlefield is resurrection when chosen and sometimes it doubles the amount of scroll in spell book

magically transporting heroes to the places where they were before casting 'instant recall'
of course disappearing heroes on adventure map

Oh and the artifacts, sometimes artfact don't increase heroes stats, where there should be 'chest' there are hands picture

I think I don't have to tell about creature animations, the flying creatures are the worst, they always spin around, there is a lot of work for animations, attack animations moving etc.

I have build 'Cathedral of Light' during this week and I could recruit abbots, but in the week description it said i won't get any creatures this week even if i build new building

So I was outside the town and used Instant recall it brought me back to town then I wanted to go somewhere else and it instantly brought me back to the place i was before using instant recall

if that's the abbot dwelling it's been added.

other one is new. adding it momentarily.
