I'm not opposed to a steampunk Forge faction. In a hypothetical Heroes universe I've been working on, I included one such faction with units like Arquebasiers -> Musketeers (Core tier ranged units), Half-Golems -> Demi-Golems (cyborgs, with "Cyborg" being the faction's Might class), Light Shooters -> Light Launchers (laser guns for those who don't know what to call lasers), Dreadnoughts -> Juggernauts (Champion tier land ships), and Rust Dragons -> Gold Dragons (Champion tier cyborg/mecha-dragons).

Well, in next expansion, if we even get one, Sanctuary and Inferno. Both of them were in Heroes VI, so they can reuse a lot of things, so they are making pretty much 1 new race!
I want to see Fortress after that!

I believe Inferno will soon return. Considering as to how they will include two Inferno units in vanilla H7 and an Inferno Hero, it wouldn't be too hard to implement them

Core
Gunner/Musketman (ranged human with a primitive riffle)
Pyro/Pyromaniac (human with flamethrower)
Ratkin/Ratkin Saboteur (ranged rat beastman capable of weaking enemy constructs)
Elite
Werewolf/Alpha Werewolf (damage dealer/saboteur with large metal claws and a scary howl)
Bomber/Grenadier (ranged with area of effect damage)
Metal Knight/Mechanical Knight (large humanoid construct)
Champion
Landship/Dreadnought (litterally a tank)
Dragon Construct/Dragon Golem (name says it all)

Besides Forge, maybe a faction based on the sky? You know, birdmen, mages/priests attacking with lightning and thunder and dragons that live mostly on highest peaks.

I know. How anyone could ever consider Inferno over Fortress is beyond me .
Seriously though, Dwarves would be far and away my favorite addition, followed by Sanctuary. Nothing against Inferno per se, just personal preference.

I was not being serious there, hence the emoticon.
I fully understand people preferring Inferno, I just personally really like Dwarves and have never loved the fiery fiends.
