It's got my vote....I keep trying to figure out why you would do it that way. I know some people (in H5) asked about being able to watch their allies battles, but that was only AFTER their own turn was done and they were just waiting anyway.....
I am hoping it is just a simple fix/tweak and that we don't get the dreaded "it isn't possible in the game engine" reply....

I'm am very disappointed in town development. Level 4 magic guild required for Champions is still there, wtf? Town levels are very intrusive. The upgrades arrow display is very poor comparatively with what we had before. They added some building highlights, but they're very summary, needs slight tweaking. Carryover UI in form of the minimap and hero actions is an insult. I can't talk about construction prices, they tend to be map specific, but I can attest that I had days when I couldn't build anything, so there's that. Music is top notch.
Design philosophy needs to be rethought. There's no way appropriate changes can be made without agreeing on how things are supposed to work in the first place.

@Stevie - Totally agree. Situations when number of prerequisites for buildings are too many are very often. Connections should be loosened to allowearlier access to Elites and Champions (the latter ones especially.)

Agree, I miss these.
Haven't played much yet to give a gameplay feedback, but I'll add an aesthetic feature that I would prefer if I had an option to turn it off: "team color" adornments thing.

I find stupid and lazy that they list all types of creatures in the battle losses screen even when they suffered no losses.

I'm really pissed, sad and disappointed right now. I don't even know where to begin. I pre-ordered the damn thing from Ubisoft and what was sent over wasn't even to me wasn't half the stuff that was Advertised in the Collector's Edition. The physical copy of the game and the Soundtrack CD wasn't there. The box didn't even come in cellophane.

I wonder if War-Overlord suffered the same treatment with his CE box. That would be perfect karma.

I called it, you know. I said months ago "Hmmm, To make a proper Heroes game, you need a technical team of programmers to pull it off, but Ubisoft puts too much emphasis on eye candy and Limbic never produced any game that is difficult to code before, so it just might end up a flop again"

For being such an Ubisoft apologist? For arguing for ignorance? I'd say it would serve him pretty damn right.

What happens is that Ubisoft will not fix every bug. They will fix the easy ones, and then promise in the next xpantion to fix the important ones. Like a cocaine pusher treats his cocaine addicted customers.

No one "deserved" this so grow up and stop gloating about it. It's a real shame for everyone how this turned out.

Well, I would argue that those who defended Ubisoft and / or the shady practices and design mentality behind the production of the game actually fully deserve the worst possible treatment in return for their services, but since this would not be in the scope of this thread I'd rather not derail the conversation any further and just leave it at that.

I'm new here so I really do not want to come off as rude, but I'm afraid no one's bothered to reply to my Message, at least directly. Is it prudent to ask to get my money back?

I think for a proper game you need also some heroes veterans as testers because that guys at Limbic have absolutely no clue what are they doing. They can`t balance it, omit important features and make bad design decisions about things long established in the franchise. On top of that they only listen when they want. I was one of the more optimistic people arround here and I tell you I am very disappointed and frustrated from the game. I just don`t believe they will fix it because they have always just thrown dust in our eyes. Some PR snow pulled off by their team. It is outrageous - map editor, sim turns, creature specialists, battle sites, skillwheels...It is too many to fix and they will never spend that much time.

THIS. You look at H2-H5 tournaments rankings and invite the top players as consultants. You don't necessarily have to go their way 100%, but at least they will warn you about any UI flaws, cheap skills, distorted battle results due to unbalance. No programmer can match the experience a player has from hundreds of online games.
When a company will do that, I have a feeling that the game will get much warmer welcome. + infinitely better.
+ I will buy it.

Maybe you're not up to date on the news, but they had all that in the form of the VIP group ever since Heroes 5.
