Mario,

That is great but I found a way to convert translations from 5.5 to the Skillwheel. The only folder that needs manual translation is "Panes".

What I do is the following:
- extract text.pak
- extract MMH55_texts.pak on top of it.
- Extract a few other MMH55 folders (I have to document them).

Run the scripts and voala we have full skillwheel in english.

So if I take text.pak and MMH55_texts.pak in Polish we can get a translation without a lot of hassle.

I have not yet done any adjustments. I wanted to see if scripts are working for other languages first and then clean the issues as they come. I will let you know how the things go.

Mario, I made it !
The issue is that all text should be in UTF-8 format while the one you gave me is in ANSI.
While changing the format on one of the files some of the letters got messed up. On English text it works well but Polish is another thing. May be I miss fonts or other files related to the language.

Can you do the following:

Could you try migrating your translation of panes to UTF-8 and give it back ? Test it first on main_menu.txt (it breaks some letters on my side) and if it works correctly than all of the files will be probably working.

You can use this python script for notepad++ to automate it.

This is the latest text of the app. It includes a couple of (I think they are 2 new ones) new files in the "town pane" folder (in UTF-8) you may want to add.


Also can you translate (again in UTF-8) about 30 more files in folders called classes, micro_artifacts, spells and file called None.ext from this zip file. I use them to populate things I cannot extract from texts.pak and MMH55-text-en.pak for some reason (Haven and stronghold sub-classes, some custom spell predictions). In spell predictions there are words in brackets like <value>. Do not change those they are substituted by the code with numbers.

I briefly checked all sections in case there are some English leftovers, for some reason some of the runes are in English while other are in Polish. Besides that everything seems fine.

I have to make the town pane icons adjust dynamically according to the sub-header length because some words in Polish have different length than in English and this issue will persist across other translations too.

Hello Mario,

I spend some time checking all things in Polish.
Disregard the post above. There is some missed text in spell pane and Creature pane here and there. Where in Creature pane it is very severe . Here is an example, most creatures are like this.

A lot of creature names are in English. The same goes for creature abilities. Sicen the scripts get those things automatically  from the game I assume that some files in Tote Polish translation were left untranslated.

Could you translate these files.

It includes about 80 files. With their help all panes will be patched except creature pane.

Regarding creature pane, there are 2 ways to do it:
1.  Translate the text structure from the app manually
2.  Fix ToTe translation (creature names and creature abilities) so later the script can extract them correctly.
