After few hours of vigorous digging, Orryth and the dwarves, which had lend him a hand, finally managed to break down the portion of the cliff, and reveal a small hidden grotto.

The dust had settled, and some light was shed inside the cliff.
Inside the grotto, was a well preserved shrine dedicated to some of the Pantheon. What differed it from the rest, was the arrangement of the effigies. In the center, was a figure of a woman, most likely elven goddess Calista. To her right, a figure of an old man was placed. The figure's robes were plain, and the old man wielded a plain staff, similar to those carved from the roots of the trees. He also held a small kantele. One could easily recognize the figure was being a representation of Parkkun. The statuette on the left was that of a man as well, but it depicted a younger, brawner man wielding a spear, accompanied by two ravens and an owl. This figure seemed to represent Vellyn.
There were old braziers and spots to place candles on. despite a thick layer of dust, the shrine appeared completely intact.
There was something strange about it. Magnus looked around it, and to the dwarf's eye, there was something hidden in the shrine as well.

- It seem's this shrine seen better days. - Doemrth said as he stepped into the grotto.
- Tis be more 'ere lads. - Magnus said. - Tis 'ere shrine was built for a purpose. You seen 'em temples all around. The majesty of 'em. Breathtaking.
- This seems to be built before the rise of Dominion it seems - Domerth said by looking at the trio of statues on the altar.
- Aye, 'tis be an elven shrine. Their goddess is in the middle. - Magnus said. - It most likely been bloody centuries since someone's worshipped 'ere.
- Your dwarven companion is right. - A voice had said. When the group turned to the source of the voice, they saw an old man with a white hair and robes. He carried a a carved oaken staff. He took a deep breath.
- Some say, that Calista rewards those that remember her kindness.- the old man said, before fading away.

- Same as always... - Magnus said.
- Was that..? - Domerth Began asking. He had read in the annals of the Company that the Pantheon aided the Brotherhood in their quest for the Goblet by giving cryptic messages.
- Aye lad. It was.- Magnus looked at the altar.
- What do you think he meant with that saying? - Domerth asked.
- I think we need to pray at tis 'ere shrine. - Magnus said. - Ye know lads, show it some care. 'Cause it be a damn unwise move to desecrate it, - he said, reffering to something hidden within the shrine.

- Not yet. - Domerth said. - Halfman, do you have some spare candles?
- I do have some. - The sorcerer replied.
- Go get a few.
Halfman soon returned with a couple of candles, which were placed in the sconces. The group cleared off the dust of the shrine. After the preparations were made, Nivera said a little prayer by the shrine, as dryads were the only remaining worshipers of Calista.
As the prayer was said, the hidden door in the shrine opened, revealing a hidden cache of weapons and armor. It had seemed that this shrine was built by those that opposed the tyranny of the Dominion, as a secret stash of arms.

- Well, isn't that fortunate. - Domerth said upon laying his eyes on the stashed weapons. even through the thick layer of dust one could see that they're were of pristine condition.

- Fire needs fuel my dear. I thought that Agnirri knew that more than anyone else. - Halfman calmly said while examining the arms cache.
- These are exquisite pieces. - Domerth said while looking at them. The weapons stored there trully seemed to be crafted by a master blacksmith.

Some people of the expedition felt that certain weapons attracted them, as if they were calling their new wielders.

"'Old on, why is there some darn voice in me head telling me ta go in? OI, DOMERTH! SOME MAGIC BIZ IN THERE? SHOULD I COME IN? I do not like this..." she grumbled to herself, going inside.

she joined the ones already there. "Now I don' appreciate bein'-WHOA, THAT'S ONE FANCY SHIELD, INN'IT?! I'M AVIN' THAT!" she excitedly exclaimed, grabbing the finely decorated shield and throwing away her old one.
"And oh my, that there axe is mighty fine too. you don't mind me grabbin' it, do ya? thanks!" she continued, picking up the one-handed battle axe.
"Much better then mah current one, if a tad short. If no one wants that one I'll take it as well" she finally concluded, pointing at one of the two-handed swords.

-So noisy...- Federigo grumbled as he heard Bryn shouting, he calmly approached the cache and after a brief look he took a great sword: -Surely, it's not as elegant as those fine blades made in the capital, but it has its charm. I wonder if it can do anything else.-

He then turned around and said: -I'm satisfied, do what you want with the rest.-

- Don't be so upset my sweet neburan princess - Halfman said to 'Elepaio.

With the cache secured, the expedition resumed it's movement. The cliffside on the right soon changed into a rolling plain, with several rocky hills and a marsh to the far east. By evening, they had reached a small fishing hamlet. It's only inn was small, and didn't held enough room to accommodate all the members of the expedition.
It seemed that there was a commotion going on by the village square. People were armed with harpoons and pitchforks, as well as some actual weapons, such as plain crossbows.
An old man, seemingly the village elder, approached Domerth. He seemed joyful.
- Finally! Did the Magistrate of Sapphire sent you?
- I'm afraid not. We're just passing through.
- Good ser, you must help us. - The elder began his plea - There is a particulary aggressive wyvern that has attacking the village for the past few weeks. We're no warriors, just fishermen and farmers. We could find you a monetary reward if you insist.
- Domerth, what's the business here?- Magnus asked while adjusting his wineskin on his belt.
- The village elder requests our aid in hunting a wyvern, and is offering a reward for it as well.
- Ye had me at huntin' lad. - Magnus said with a smile. He then chugged down the content of his wineskin as he walked away.
- So tell me, esteemed elder, where does this beast nest?- Domerth asked.
- It always come from the east. We may suspect it has a nest in a nearby hill, not too far from the village. - The elder said.

- Doubtful, but I will consult the maps.- Domerth said to Federigo. He noticed that both Magnus and Nivera were overly excited about the upcoming hunt, they were prepping their hunting gear in very high spirits, exchanging stories about different game they bagged throughout their lives.
Domerth unrolled the various maps he had, including ones aquired by Federigo. The fishing village was called Ambercove. Near it, there were indeed several wyvern roosts. Most of them were in the nearby marsh, but some were marked by the rocky hills, just as the village elder told.

By further consulting the maps, as well as some of the villagers, Domerth thought he had pinpointed the location of the lair of the beast, that had plagued this quiet fishing hamlet.

-Allright. - He said to the membes of the expedition, who were sitting by the fire, and waiting for the fish stew to be ready, the village elder was kind enough to offer the expedition some of the today's catch. - I've talked with the elder, and some of the men from the village. They've decided to conduct the hunt tommorow. This little sidetrack will also give us 5 forints. It's not much, but it's all these people have to offer us. - The custom of the north said that the free companies always received their payment
Magnus looked at the houses of the village.
- Tell ye what. Let's take half of that sum these lads offer us, and let's ask to take the hide of that flying beast as part of our wager 'ere. Wyvern hide be tough, we can make use of it in the long run.
- That's a good idea. Those 500 talars are most likely pitched in by the entire town, as well as emptying their treasury. - Domerth said.

- No, of course I don't think that's a good idea. - Domerth said as he sat down, and accepted a mug of beer from Magnus. - I figure we take few of them at the very most, those that know the area well, and are not armed with simple harpoons. Thing is, it seems we're the only help they got in a long while, so they're bound to play by our rules, and in turn we won't get the entire men of this village to be needlessly killed by a rampaging animal.

- I don't think a capture of the beast is in question. - Domerth said while looking at Nivera and Magnus, who were still in conversation about their hunts.- Besides, do we even have a net huge enough in our stocks? Maybe the fishermen do, but I fail to see how a fishing net could witstand a beast larger than an full grown aurochs and not break.

- The venomous varieties of wyverns live in the deep south, in Emerdinan and Bonswadan jungles - Domerth said. - At least that's what the books say.- He took a sip from his mug. The flames of the fire took on many forms, from men to beasts, as 'Elepaio was having fun with her skills and mastery of the arcane. It was a mesmerising spectacle to behold.

No point in knowing things if ye just wanna punch things, ya know? But whatever, a wee lass and troublemaker. see, there was this hunter who lived in this here cabin nearby. Didn't know 'er name nor why she was there but she was and she would hunt animals and go to market to sell the furs n' hides. So me, bein' a lil' lass and enamoured with strength and wanting to prove meself naturally decided ta follow her one day. secretly, of course, though I suspect she was aware of me. So I follow her around fer days as she stalks some beast, I great stag I think it was, when we get ta some hilly area and she suddenly gets much more careful. she actively sneaks around, bein' careful to make no sounds whatsoever with me a couple o' meters behind at all times, dodging behind rocks and cliffs.

So she finds this here big nest with several rather large eggs and she perks up. must sell fer a fortune, and she starts putting 'em in a bag but she forgets to look up when a large Wyverns lands just in front of her! Cave her a big ol' fright, I tells ya and she falls right down on her arse and you could hear the eggs crunch! Wyvern don't like that, not one bit and starts ta threateningly move forward, jaws agape which where I sprung to action and jumped past the hunter and grabbed the beasts spiky mug and pulled away from her! It roared and flung me around, trying to have me let go but I held fast atop its head and after a while it decided to fly, me still on it screaming of pure joy! Don't like that much either and screams back and just flies as quickly and rough as it can but in the end it finally gave up tryin' ta shake me off.

Once it landed I managed to sneak away but not without a little souvenir!"she finishes and fishes up a thin spike from her belt.
