That's a good heroes mod if i ever seen one. I really like how the dd spells are not complete trash in it.

If only broken things could be nerfed. Such as diplomacy skill. WOG had this option to "set all neutrals to never join" which was cool. Also not a huge fan of spamming the map with wandering monsters every month. If that could be disabled (via an option) i'd be grateful.

New version of my alternative creature mod for MoP 3.07

What's new?
- Added level 7 alternative creatures! plus other creatures from other HoM&M games, this will bring the total number of creatures to 382.

- Altered the appearance and stats of all dragon younglings, they will start with 25% stats of their grown-up version and will gain 7% every rank until they reach the adult state. This is made to give the feeling they are "growing"

- Improved Skeleton transfomer, it will not always transfom creatures into skeletons but will give a more vary selection of undead creatures based on the level and appearance of the target unit but usually 1 or more levels weaker than their living counterpart.

- Modified stats and level of some creatures, also tweaked all creatures prices: basically shooters will be more expensive and land creatures cheaper.

- Modified specializations of few heroes.

- Other little tweaks

Preview of the mod can be found on the previous page.
As usual, to install extract all files in your MoP main directory overwriting existing files, make a backup first just in case something goes wrong or want to revert to the original mop files.

Data/Tools -> Data/MoP/Tools. Otherwise mod non-working.

Why you can not add creatures to the map? Edit only two files - MAOBJTS.txt and MOPJCTS.txt in h3mopENG.lod.

Yes i planned to add the new creatures to the map, i will in future, the reason i haven't done it so far is caused by some crash to desktop that occur often at the start of the new week during the creature week, it seems for some reason these "ghost" creatures i have added will reduce considerably the CtD  frequency, maybe cause creature will sometime spawn on illegal terrain or something.

Asking help about gameplay


Greetings, I like this mod a lot but I donīt know why my stacks donīt grow after reaching 25 units, like in WoG; also 7th level units donīt upgrade to 8th level (foe exemple ancient behemots with 600 HP.

Would you please tell me how to make the necessary changes ?

Hello. Mod don't support imbalance wog-features and add them in mod not very easily, because MoP don't use ERM - only asm & macroses.

In MoP Battery 7th level creatures can be upgraded to 8th level in Hill Forts, It is not well balanced if I cannot find a Hill Fort and if my opponent does find one he has an advantage.

Is there a way to upgrade them in Towns?

Yes, there is a relic that allow to upgrade creatures in towns just like hill fort do, but it also require luck, since it drop randomly slaying creatures. You may have a better chance killing raid bosses, since every one killed will give you a relic, but it's still a pretty rare drop.
