Festival of Life!

Personally, I like that campaign best, dunno why, because I don't really like Stronghold otherwise.

Anyway, I see your first campaign was the one of Dracon, but it has time limits. I know some were pretty tight; since these maps are larger, did you also increase those time limits? From memory, I don't think they are.

Crystal Dragons: original time limit: 3 months, LC's time limit: 3 months
Rust Dragons: original time limit: 6 months, LC's time limit: 6 months
Faerie Dragons: original time limit: 6 months, LC's time limit: 7 months
Azure Dragons: original time limit: 6 months, LC's time limit: 9 months

Festival of Life was tough campaign as far I remember

Festival of Life only 3rd map is tricky, but once you take over neutral castles and dungeon with town Portal, Enemy will not access to taverns. Last Map, 1vs1 CPU, no Taverns.

"I didn't touch texts, but added some additional. The conception as i said was left untouched, just harder, wider, better, greater."

How to say... If size map is bigger, limit time is longer, simple increasing stack size are not enogh because maps will be empty. Besides, if you read all post in this topic, you'll know that Louis_Cyphre is not random mapmaker and these maps are designed for more advanced players (some maps are too hard for me, but I recomend his youtube channel to see his playing style).
And keep in mind that Dragon Slayer campaing is quite linear. We must walk around and slash Dragons

Dear ladies and gentleman!

After the remake was released over two years ago and many players played it live I made a bunch of conclusions and decided to make an extraordinary version of Armageddon's Blade campaign.

So, what i've got by watching many streams:

- Some people found a way to get Slow in first scenario. Someone spammed "E" button for a big army. Someone finished last scenario without Xyron's fight and many-many other black spots that were not implemented by me.

- Someone disliked a big cap between missions #5 and #6. Well, i actually agree with that - The difference is great. This made some players mad. And that wasn't my aim.

- A big unfortunate, that there were no English version, so only russian players enjoyed reading messages and easter eggs that i've written. Kidding, no one even recognized an easter egg about Michael Jackson on last scenario. Very sad.

- Last scenario has multiple fractions and many kind of mythology names all over the world. Like Metatron, Grunbelt, Abaddon and etc. That is kind of against the Lore of Might and Magic, which isn't good.

- Even i tried myself hard of making this remake, i'm not completely satisfied and i realize that everything what happened was just a big preparation for special edition.

And here i want to announce:

Heroes of Might and Magic III: Armageddon's Blade - Legendary Hero Edition

This special version is hard to say a remake, because the only things that were left untouched are victory/loss conditions and the lore. Story still tells about Gelu and his band called "Shadows in the Forest" and even story messages are left untouched (almost). But i try my best to make each key event, each message and each description of every scenario more constructive and interesting to read. My aim is to make it like a book. Like an interesting book, that requires thinking, imagination, the sense of humor and i do my best to balance text with hints, humor, science, psychology, philosophy and esoterics. I also want to reveal character of each heroes, so players can have psychological portraits of Gelu, Catherine, Roland and others.

No unbalance between scenarios. They are all at the same level of difficulty. This edition is considered to be very hard and will give you a big challenge if you're aiming to pass. Be ready to be a master of logistics, tactics, economy and knowledge of game mechanics.

I made AvLee look like a beautiful place with spoiled parts near the borders of Eofol. And i made the Kreegan territory as evil, as possible.

There will be some additional characters that are new to the story, but their existence is more reasonable neither than lack.

I'm still working on it since 2018. And i hope soon i gotta finish first scenario. And will totally upload it for people, who are willing to taste a real insanity of this wonderful game.
