In one way one might even accuse Abrahamism of being a predecessor of rationalism and liberalism and then Marxism and egalitarianism because of its anthropocentric and puritan tendencies. I'm very reluctant to attack Christianity since it's the tradition most westerners turn to for spiritual answers and all the bad guys hate it because it's an important part of western identity.

That is a very forced and flawed interpretation. First of all, rationalism and liberalism in the West triumphed when religion lost power, not the other way around. The Enligthenment was a very anti-religious movement with most of its prominent thinkers being deists, if you ever read Diderot, Voltaire, Thomas Paine etc, one of the things they were trying to liberate people from was religion. Secondly, the Enligtenment owed a lot to Renasiannce and Reform and those had a lot to do with the Greko-Roman heritage which was pagan, especially the Pre-Socratic Greek philosophers such as Heraklitos, Demoklitos, Anaksimandros were in pracrtice, the forefathers of materialism. (Platon messes up things a lot, since he's a genius who is fundamentally wrong.) If you had been correct about Abrahamism or Christianity in specific, it should have produced similar results elsewhere. But without the unique non-centric political structure of Europe, Reforms, Greko-Roman heritage, it simply didnt. Actually, it produced quite the opposite results. A lot of Westerners turn to Buddhism also these days, when it comes to "spirituality" and the tendency to even call it "spiritual" goes back to Zoroastrianism, which is much earlier than Christianity. (In that dualist cosmology, the evil god was in control of earthly desires to tempt you and the good god was in control of higher pursuits, sounds familiar? When you put a little Zoroastrianist influence into the Jewish god of the Old Testament who is mostly there to protect his own tribe just like any other pagan tribe's god, the combination is Christian.) Also, significant amount of people, especially among the educated, dont turn to any religion at all these days. You are being very anachronic.

Reading the Bible without understanding the literal way and then laughed at the stupidity which came out from this is not a criticism but the show own stupidity. To criticize something you first have to grasp it.

For other cultures people: Christianity IS NOT A WESTERN CULTURE! Western culture is from christianity! India religions its not the same level with christianity! You can compare it with Greek mythology. A lot indian ideas is from Greeks culture because big part of India was conquered by Alexander and it was cultural influence too.

No, to grasp something you must be able to put a critical distance to it. I can assure you the arguments of monotheism are not too complex to decipher and they are not in anyway credible today academically regarding why they actually exist.

While I am a total anarchist at the deep of my heart, I would rater have a quite totalitarian state providing for free education and health care, besides other things, then to live in a totally unorganized society.
I do see a point in The God of the Flies, from William Golding and I would rater live in the old USSR, then in his dystopian society.
Also, from my own personal life and personality, I know I need some kind of external authority or I won't do my own work if I don't feel like (like reviewing my stinking map and redraw the events giving more creatures to AI, which I've been postponing for weeks, for instance).

As for "dumbasses", a society cannot exist with just intellectual people. One might even argue that what we need more of in the west today are more peasants and people who aren't rootless and self-absorbed in the cities. People have different traits and capacities. In areas of life where we can't take responsibility (and ideally thus shouldn't have power), we need authorities to do that for us.

humans should be bred to their optimal state. procreation should be strictly controlled until the weak and the vermin that are ruining everything, are bred out of society. i mean this absolutely; which is why i have such a difficult time existing in society.

i believe in anarchy only because what stands now, needs to desperately fall. the weak and the vermin need weeded out, if we are to move on as a species(instead of the endless idiotic cycle it has been for centuries). hell, if the world will be allowed to flourish, even.

Max Stirner makes an interesting point regarding this, the state requires its people to be in a state of dependancy this is where its power comes from. A good father raises his children to be able to function autonomously once they vome of age, those who do not are tossed out of the abode (according to stirner). The state is thus an aberration, like some parent forcibly keeping its child in ignorance, prescribes strict laws and conventions (to mimimalize its own headache having to deal with overgrown children).

could you translate the bible for me? and add the part where dinosaurs existed? you know, just to make it more believable. either that, or you come to the understanding that ONE book will never be the answer to EVERYTHING. ffs. there ARE other religious books out there; maybe you should try finding the similarities in teachings between them? you know, just so that you get a better understanding on the whole thing? k? k.
