[HotA] Westeros & The Free Cities
Hello girls & guys,
I'm just finished this map of Game of Thrones. I hope you will enjoy it.
Works with Horn of the Abyss only.
Starting in Westeros is quite hard, Essos seems easier, apart from this information, the map is balanced & was built in simple skirmish style.
There are'nt fly, dimension door, town portal spells.
Size: XL
Players: 8
Can be human: 8
Teams (optional): 5

A map of Westeros & West Essos inspired by Game of Thrones.

From my own experience, the best place to add a map is Maps4Heroes
I believe I already had more then 700 downloads, since June.

Yes, I know. That started when a friend gave me a ten for something he never played. I feel dishonest about that, even if it wasn't my fault.
I hope he finds the time to play it, one day. I won't get a 10 then.

Well, to be honest the 10 was for the sum of your activities and motivation in HC, which is not so common. Also, I started to play it but, to be again honest, I am no longer hooked by this game, and the design (only the graphics) was not what could keep me curious and overcome my boredom for this game. Which should not discourage you, as the first ever map I sent to mapsforheroes, in 2008, was a ... random map, ugly as hell but with big battles, scripts and crazy things I loved at that time. Which not many played and got not comment at all, despite me believing it was the best map in this galaxy.
Which I erased as soon as I had better maps, with custom design and better scripts.

That's the ingame title, unfortunately I didn't renamed, and it's differ from the filename.

I didn't said your name, cause I could guess all that.
I wish I can find the motivation to start a good map before the end of this year, you were right when you told me it takes about one year of hard work to make a reasonable map, the "good" depends on talent more then hard work and talented is something I'm not. But I worked hard and learned a lot, making this one. BTW, thanks for the so many hours you spent teaching me the rudiments of ERM, that I so ungratefully left out by choosing HotA to start with.

I have no problems with that, of course Hota is great, certainly not as good as wog but can help for understanding the basics of Heroes 
Later you will see the light.
