When you have high number level 1 stack, like 200+, and preserve it till the end of the combat (maybe if you've protected Master Gremlins stack), it suddenly becomes Resurrection on steroids. It transfers hit points of sacrificed units at the very least, then Spell Power scaling is equal to number in sacrificed stack with 10 bonus effective spellpower at expert fire magic, so if you sacrifice 50 units you already get resurrection as if you had 10 more spellpower, which is 500 more hitpoints healed.
